For those on a budget when it comes to winter vacations, it's hard to pass up Big White ski resort's newest offers. Friday night lift tickets are only five dollars! That's no typo, folks.

It is now possible to ski Big White from 5pm-8pm on Fridays, during one of the most snow-abundant seasons in years, for the same price as a white chocolate mocha! If this offer isn't from heaven, then it's pretty darn close.

Big White ski resort is offering other events to catch your attention, now that the Coquihalla highway has reopened.

Feb 23-24: Telus Park Amateur Night Rail Jam, showcasing local ski and board talent, and the BCFSA National Half pipe Series. Perfect for boarders and the ones who love them.

Feb 28 - Mar 2: BCSA Provincial Championships, including Super Pipe, Slopestlye, and Boardercross. Winners of this event go on to secure a spot on the national team. This is where the future of winter sports in Canada is born..
