24 Hours of Skiing for a Great Cause at Mont Tremblant Resort

Join in on one of Canada's most celebrated fundraising events: 24h Tremblant. With three days of fun-filled festivities and concerts, this event combines entertainment and skiing with the great cause of raising money for children's charities.

Mont Tremblant Resort will host 24h Tremblant for the eighth consecutive year from December 12 - 14, 2008.

About the Cause – Why You Should Ski your Socks off for 24 Hours, Lend a Hand or Give some Cash.

Many will want to win the competition but the overall goal of 24h Tremblant is to raise as much money as possible for a trio of charities that help children:

• Centre de cancerologie Charles-Bruneau Foundation – supports children's cancer research
• Ottawa Senators Foundation – utilizes the unique resources of an NHL club to make a positive difference in the lives of children
• Tremblant Foundation – supports school meal programs, family and adolescent drug prevention programs, summer camps and sports equipment for children

Last year's event raised over 1 million dollars and they're hoping to make even more of a difference this year! Help them meet their goal by signing up to race (you don't need to be a pro), volunteering or making a donation.

Three Days of Events!

The main event consists of a friendly relay-style ski-o-thon race lasting 24 consecutive hours with the object to cover the most ground possible. Teams range in size between 4 and 12 members and intermediate to advanced-level skiers. Your group pays a fee to join and signs-up sponsors to pay you for each kilometre completed.

For those less ambitious, 24h Tremblant provides a variety of other activities to keep you part of the action. Enjoy free concerts featuring Hedley, Beast and Creature or cheer on the racers at parades and ceremonies.
