Our family enjoyed a very nice stay in unit 313 at the aspens in Whistler. The proximity to the slopes (a 3 minute walk took you to the slopes just next to the Wizard Express lift) and the 7-10 minute walk to the Village was handy. The condo had most everything for self-catering that our small family of 3 needed during the Easter weekend. It was clean and very comfortable. Added touches (such as the retractable drawstring line in the bathroom to hang wet swimsuits to dry, and free wireless) were appreciated. We enjoyed the on-site hot tubs après-ski. If there were any suggestions to improve the satisfaction for the next visitors, it would include extra holders/hooks to dry bath towels (there was only one hook in the bathroom) and extra dish cloths in the kitchen. The prior emailed instructions helped us keep organized. They, however, could have included how to access the outdoor hot-tub/pool area and where the garbage bins are located: a key fob allowing access to the hot tubs along with pool towels can be obtained from the front desk and the garbage bin room is located outside and to the right of the front lobby doors.
What can I say, I return to the aspens over and over and this is my third stay in this unit and it is fabulous. On the backside of the complex it faces on a forest wonderland teeming with wildlife (some human from time to time) but the perfect mix of being close and yet private. The unit has all the amenities and is beautifully organized and clean. As usual the ski valets assisted and made my stay extra easy. Unfortunately the good feeling was marred by the elevator breaking down on Sunday morning at checkout. My sister and I are lucky enough to be able to haul everything down the stairs but it was painful after 2 days of skiing. May I suggest you get your luggage down to the car before 9 to avoid this problem. Otherwise it was a wonderful time for all!!!
This condo is comfortable clean and quiet. The appliances are a bit dated especially the microwave that works but is very old. Otherwise it is well equipped. Master bedroom bed is very comfortable.
The lock to the suite did not work when we arrived but a quick response from Jeff and a locksmith solved the problem. Ventilation was inadequate - a new fan would solve the problem. We noted a hint of a scent coming from either laundry or deodorizer that bothered particularly my wife. Overall we were delighted with the facility, the location, and the services. We would definitely consider coming to stay here again.
We stayed here for 3 days in July 2013. We travel a lot and (being in our 50's) tend to be a bit more picky about our accommodation these days. The rental is a quite spacious one-bedroom ski rental. It looks as if it's been updated recently, and was very comfortable. One room has a sofa, chair, table for 4 and a full kitchen (with room for one person at a time :-). We loved the location, as it was a 10 minute walk from the village (Max), but enough out of the way so that it was quieter. The only reason we gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because there was no a/C, and so the windows were open at night and we could hear a (not too bad) hum from some machinery in the distance. I'm sure this wouldn't bother most people - we live in a very quiet area at home and are unusually sensitive to noise! The aspens charge for parking underneath, but in Summer you can park on the road a few hundred yards away for free. As everything is within walking distance, we just parked on the road! I would highly recommend the unit - we would definately go back there. The price (in the Summer) was great value, and all in all, it felt quite luxurious.

Accommodations were decent, including ski in/out, heated pool and hot tubs. However, you advertised available Wifi which was misleading. There was a modem in the living room of the unit but no Ssid to connect our phones. Wifi was available in the lobby of the aspens or other units. Internet access was important to check messages, mountain forecasts, make reservations, etc. Having to go to the lobby to obtain internet access was an inconvenience.

Nice condo unit. Comfy and easy to use. Nice marble counters! The aspens really has a nice setup, too - perfect Blackcomb slopeside location complete with the ski valet, the lobby great room, the pool, the hot tubs and a mini exercise room.
We've been to Whistler numerous times and love the aspens! You can't go wrong with this lovely condo!
The condo was perfect for my wife and I and our two tots. The location is primo! We parked the car and didn't move it for 3 days. It was an easy walk to the village, and the ski in/ski out was super convenient. It was also the least expensive place we found!
Everything was excellent. The location and ski in ski out is tough to beat... the snow was fabulous that the chalet was great. Hope to return soon. Ed
This is probably the best location I have stayed at in Whistler! Really close to the slope, and a short walk to Blackcomb base and about a 10 minute walk to Whistler village! From the unit to being on the slope is about 5 minutes! This took so much stress out of our mornings! The only negatives were a lack of a washer/dryer in the unit, and that parking is an additional fee.
