     In our Townhouse, two families can live together for a week or longer -- and still be friends at the end! We've Proved It!   Treetops is a huge unit that has that Cozy Mountain Chalet feeling, but has a well designed layout that gives privacy and separation to others when needed.  There are even some trees nearby!

     Catch the free Village Shuttle Bus  and visit your friends anywhere on the hill.   Better yet - get them to visit you!

Property Description

After you've parked your car under the covered parking space, you walk over to the front door and then, once inside, you can walk up to the two main bedrooms, each with their ensuite, or you can walk down. Taking the down route, you can enter the loft/den or carry on and pass the third bathroom down to the kitchen, dining and living area. The hot tub is out the sliding glass doors on the deck.

The enclosable loft

The Third full bathroom is really close to this room. The loft contains a TV, a fouton and a hide-a-bed. Close the sliding doors for privacy.

The Kitchen is fully equipped to handle the hungry hoards. The bread maker and crock pot were big hits last season. There is plenty of flour, oil and yeast in the cupboard. The crock pot is invaluable in that you can prepare the day's meal in the morning and have it ready by the day's end. 

When we stay with our familes - the bread maker gave us fresh bread for lunch and supper, which was a perfect compliment to the soups we would have daily.

Living Area

This living room has a double height ceiling and an impressive bank of windows next to a river-rock style gas fireplace that's built right up to the ceiling. The hot tub is right out the sliding glass doors on the sun (aka snow) deck. You have a chesterfield, a loveseat and a single comfey chair to relax in. You're in the common area that also contains the eating and cooking areas. There's no funny step-ups or step-downs in this lower level so its very easy to move around.

Dining Area

The dining area is sandwiched between the cooking and living areas, and has a big rectangular wooden table that seats eight hopefully hungry and appreciative people. Two more late-comers can sit right next by at the kitchen area working island.

Special Features

The loft/den area is HUGE. The original plans had the loft smaller, but it was expanded and sliding privacy doors were installed to make an optional third bedroom as a den. The third bathroom is really close to the den. This unit has an exceptional layout. The living area has a double high ceiling. Above the ceiling is the upper sleeping area. The gas fireplace has a river rock style mantle that extends right up to the ceiling. The south facing wall is completely filled with windows that have wooden venietian slats that add to the rustic yet roomy effect. This unit's layout and location gives you a quiet private convenient location on the hill Once you're inside, you have lots of room to relax and dry out, as well as lots of privacy for those who wish to chill out

Our unit offers privacy for two family groups as well as a large common space. You have a washer and dryer and a telephone available for local calls. The hot tub is new this year and is hooked up. There are two TV's - the larger one is in the den/loft. you have a DVD player and cable is available as well. Location on the hill is an amenity as well. It is close to the village, within easy walking distance, and is also in a private quiet location that offers easy ski in/out access for both day and night skiing. Note that Treetops is one of the last Big White developments to experience the slushy and muddy conditions one could encounter during fall and spring skiing.

You will be in the Upper Village area of Big White. This is the perfect place to be staying. You are in easy walking distance to the Main Village. Do take advantage of the Shuttle-Bus service that runs every 30 minutes. You will also have excellent ski in/out access for both day and night skiing. Your upper village location gives you fewer slushy/muddy days during the early and late season stays.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non=refundible, except if the booking can be replaced. Refunds or portions thereof will be refunded based on the number of nights rebooked & rebooked rates. Refunds will be subject to a 4% cancellation fee.
Courtesy Hold Reservations Reservations are not held without payment. Please confirm your reservation by clicking 'Reserve Now.''.
Delayed Arrivals There are no refunds on delayed arrivals. We are not responsible for arrival delays.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Complete instructions and information will be sent upon the final payment. The locks for the main door and the ski locker are Keypad locks so no keys are required.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Stay Contract When you book online, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservation Changes Reservations may be changed in compliance with our cancellation policy. You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. If you would like to shorten your reservatin, please note that your deposit calculated on the original amount is non refundable. If you have already paid the balance, then your balance is similarly non-refundable. If you have not paid the balance, then it will be re-adjusted to reflect your shortened reservation.

Guest Stay Policies

Check-In Time the unit will be ready for check-in at 4pm.
Check-Out Time This unit must ve vacated by 10am sharp. We would really appreciate it, if before you leave, you could load and run the dishwasher, flush the toilets, and remove the household garbage to the outside disposal location just up the driveway. Thankyou.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise You will get evicted without a refund!.
Housekeeping Human error exists! If for some reason there has been a housekeeping error and the property is not ready upon your arrival at 4pm pst, we will refund your first night if it's not cleaned and ready by 8pm. The property will be cleaned the next day if we are unable to get it cleaned that first night. There is also a lot of clean linnens up in the big bedroom upstairs.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Big White Ski Resort. We're not responsible for guests' personal items.
Maintenance Emergencies We live 1 3/4 hours away in Peachland. You can call us collect at our home at 250 767 6480. My cell is 250-212-5833
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 10. Will be evicted if more than 10 overnight without prior approval from us. We've found that having more than ten people makes the unit prone to damages due to simple congestion.
Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items.
Noise Restrictions Excessive noise from the hot tub area is not permitted after 11pm. Occupants may be evicted subsequent to receiving noise compaints, and will be charged for damages resulting from the complaints. The outdoor tub area can be used after 11pm, but please engage only in quiet conversations after 11pm out of respect for our next door families.
Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice.
Property Damage Guest authorizes up to a $500 CAD charge on their card upon departure in event of property damage. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property camage, excessive cleaning charges, lost, broken or missing common or private property items, smoking or pets inside the property, and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behaviour while in the property or on common premises.
Rental Accommodation Zoning
Terms of Eviction Smoking, excessive noise, threat of common or private property damage, disturbing the peace, more than 8 people, will all work to cause evictions. Cancellations based on evictions cannot be rebooked.

Guarantees Policies

About Us

Brian and Carolynn Brooks and family. Carolynn and I moved up to Quesnel B.C. about 25 years ago where Carolynn had worked as a Teacher and I worked as a technician in a pulp mill there. I took an early retirement and we all moved to Peachland where we are much closer to all our relatives. Of course we are all looking forward to actually using our place much more - now that we are so close!

We were one couple and 3 friends and there was plenty of room for all of us .Brian, the owner was very quick to respond to any questions or issues we had. The condo is nicely located for ski in, ski out access. We had a great week and stayed in more than we thought because we were so comfortable after skiing, it was hard to leave!The hot tub was a great apres ski coupled with a lovely fireplace to sit around in the evening. I highly recommend this condo to anyone wishing to stay at Big White!

This was our families second year in a row staying at this property. Brian is great at responding to requests and follow up. The unit is excellent for large family and the location provides easy access to the village, runs and is in a quiet area. We have stayed at Big White in different locations over the last 9 years and find this one to be one of the best for value and space. Could still use some technology upgrades for router speed and TV's but all in all a great vacation spot.

We spent 4 nights at #35 Treetops. This is a spacious, clean, and well located property. Access to the lifts is only a 1 minute walk up the road. At the end of the day, you can ski right to the complex down the back trail. A 5-minute walk down the road will take you to the heart of the village. The kitchen is large and very well equipped. The private hot tub is easily accessible through sliding doors of the main room. There was an ample supply of towels and facecloths in each of the 3 bathrooms. Multiple thermostats allowed for every member of our party to keep there rooms at their desired temperature. Brian was very responsive and answered all of our pre-stay questions promptly and comprehensively. Check-in and check-out could not have gone smoother. Overall, we found this property to be very well kept up and maintained. Clearly a sign of an invested and caring owner. We would recommend this property as a great place to stay in Big White.

Perfect for two families - had 4 kids sharing the loft area with parents in upper rooms (each with ensuite bathrooms - bonus). The unit had lots of outdoor space right by the hot tub where the kids spent hours apres-ski playing/sledding in the snow. Wish we had more time to use all the appliances in the kitchen! The front door and DVD player were a bit temperamental but did not spoil our stay. Easiest ski-in/out access via Mogul Track.

The owners were very attentive, sending us welcome and farewell messages/instructions during our stay. Highly recommended.

2 Family Vacation

This location worked very well for 2 families (4 adults and 2 3.5 year old boys). There were a few problems when we arrived but the owner responded promptly.

The Snow was great while we were there and the snow clearing crew had the front steps clean before we got out of the house each morning. The hot tub was well monitored and they have a few nice items in the kitchen (bread maker, and Waffle maker. to give you a few nice options during your stay. We could ski back to our front door and it was only about 100 m to walk up the driveway to to ski out.

Very nice accomodations for 2 families to stay for 5 nights. Skiing in to the condo was ok, however, skiing out was a bit of work especially with having some smaller children. Overall, the condo was well maintained, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed (minus a BBQ).
