Welcome to our home in the Valhalla complex. This is a townhouse style unit with its own private entrance. At 930 square feet, it is one of the largest one bedroom units in Whistler.  Shopping, restuarants, biking and ski lifts are all conveniently close by. The Valhalla is in a quiet area so you can relax in peace. 

Our property is rated 3 Peaks (^^^) by Tourism Whistler which means it provides a high quality of facilities and guest services.

Property Description

Our spacious home, at 930 square feet, has plenty of living space, storage and 2 bathrooms. Ski storage and closet are situated right at the entrance. The master bedroom has a large closet and a full ensuite bathroom. The walk-in laundry room has even more storage space! The kitchen is open concept and adjacent to the dining room and living area. The living area contains comfortable seating around a beautiful fireplace and also contains a large desk. The living area faces floor-to-ceiling windows and a private patio.

The large living area has two couches, a double sofa bed, double futon and a computer desk. The large south facing patio windows lets in plenty of light and can be accessed though sliding patio doors.

The centre piece of the dining room is the beautiful pine table with 6 chairs. There is easy access to the open style kitchen.

Location

The Valhalla complex is centrally located in Whistler village north. Everything is within easy walking distance. The Whistler marketplace is across the street and includes a large grocery store, video store, liquor store, drug store, restuarants and coffee shops. A free shuttle across the street will get you to the lifts. The entrance is located on the west side of Northlands Blvd. It is the first entruace south of Lorimer Road.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Policies:
Cancellations Made by Guests Deposit payments are non-refundable. We will refund your money if we can replace your rental. Refunds are based on the rebooked rate & based on the number of nights booked; all cancellations are subject to a 4% cancellation fee with a minimum of $40.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We are not responsible for circumstances which may cause you to be delayed
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Local management company rep. Our home has a combination lock. Our local management company contacts you prior to check in with the new combination.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Stay Contract We do not require a signed guest stay contract.
Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Will result in cancellation without a refund. Guests can re-book dates if they are still available; deposit will not be re-charged

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise Excessive noise from the hot tub area is not permitted after 11 pm.
Housekeeping Additional cleaning available. Our management company Mountain Hideaways will contact you regarding this service
Liability We are excluded from liability for personal bodily inujury in our home, while in transit to, or while on resort property.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 hr in-resort contact. Through Mountain Hideaways
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 6. Over 6 persons found staying in the property will result in eviction
Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items as per my stated damage deposit policies.

Property Damage Guest authorizes up to a $500 CAD charge on their card upon departure in the event of property damage. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items,smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.

My favorite mountain biking trails Fairly easy trails around Lost Lake but lots of intermediate side trails. For intermediate trails the Whistler interpretive forest near function junction is loads of fun!
My recommended non-skiing winter activities There is snowmobiling, dog-sledding, snowshoeing and helicopter tours. Take a sight seeing trip up the Whistler Gondolda.

How do I get the check-in info? When we receive your final payment, we will email you directions, the door code and emergency contact information.
What if I leave my package at home by mistake? Please call Whistler FrontDesk at (604) 938 4267.

Arrival Arrangements

How do I check in ? When you arrive in Whistler, go directly to the property and use the door code provided. You can drive right up to the door to unload. A parking garage key will be provided inside the property so you can park you car after unloading.
How do I get to the property? A map is available in our property info pages, we will also email you directions on completion of your reservation and payments.

Checking Out

How do I check out ? Check out time is 10 a.m.
What if I require a later check out time? Please let us know in advance if you would like to check out later than 10 a.m. We will do our best to accommodate you, however if a late check out is not possible, our management company Whistler FrontDesk can offer you luggage storage.

Other information

Who do I contact in an emergency? Whistler FrontDesk will take care of any issues that arise, you will be given their 24 hour contact number during your meet & greet session on arrival.
