Rainbows bring rewards find yours at Big white as we did.

We are a family of five. We fell in love with Big White in the Christmas of 2003 and soon after became residents. Our family has skied together for in excess of 20 years. We hope that you enjoy our Dream Home and our approach to decorating. My wife and I cherish the time in Big White away from fax, e-mail, voicemail, and telephone to recharge our batteries, knowing if necessary all that is just a phone connection away. We enjoy the mountain biking, hiking and wineries of the spring, summer and fall. We enjoy the white boughs of the fir trees and the light powder of the winter as the mountain comes alive with activity. Whatever season you choose to visit, your body and mind will get a full workout and the chalet will be your respite from such vigour. Big White is to enjoy and explore. We do. Go ahead and try.

Beautiful home at Big White

Linda from Vancouver, Canada
Date: Apr-12-2017 for a stay in Mar 2017

Our family absolutely loved our stay in his home. We rented our own place at Whistler for over 25 years sharing wonderful times but decided 10 years ago to give it up and make a change to experience other ski resorts with our family. We have stayed in many different ski resorts with our family, our children and our grandchildren and pinnacles 1 as our accommodation was unanimously our favorite.

We loved everything about it, the decor, the design, the furnishing the classy feel but mostly the warmth of a home!! Location awesome too!! We have tucked away some very special memories. Thank you again for your provision and to Larry and Eva for allowing us the privilege to stay in their home. Hope to return some day. it was awesome!

Yours truly, John , Linda and family

Great Stay March 2017

Mike from Edmonton, Canada
Date: Mar-18-2017 for a stay in Mar 2017

Very nice home, more space than we needed for a party of 4 adults and could easily accommodate a couple of families. The home exceeded expectations from the photos and description. The kitchen is very well equipped, better than any other home that I have rented - more than needed. A map for the best ski-in/out route would have been a bonus - I think we figured it out. Overall a great place for a ski getaway.

Pinnacles Jan 2017.

Sean from Armidale, Australia
Date: Jan-26-2017 for a stay in Jan 2017

I had the pleasure of being part of a group of 10 (two families) that stayed at Pinnacles for 12 days during January 2017 and our experience was nothing short of wonderful. Everything about the property was exactly as it was described, the responsiveness of the owner in the booking process was exceptional and access to the property could not have been easier. The location of the property worked well for the families as access to and from the slopes (and village) was very easy for everyone so going home for lunch or another layer was not an issue. The property easily caters for 10 people and there is enough space to manage a few more if necessary as there is plenty of room to ensure that everyone has some space when needed. The quality of the property is first class and the well equipped kitchen sets a new standard for holiday accommodation as the owner has ensured that every need for a family to truly enjoy a holiday has been supplied. A wonderful residence in a wonderful location creates a holiday experience that will be remembered by the entire family for a long time. Thank you.

This house was amazing! It had so much room for our party of 9. The kids had a great room for watching TV , the games room was a well used room after a day of skiing. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly want ! Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were well supplied with towels. Owner was great to deal with and so was the lady who looked after the rental. We hope to return next year to stay at this gorgeous home. 5 nights was not enough looking for a longer visit next time. Thanks for providing a top notch vacation home Larry and family!

Pinnacles family vacation

Susan from Richmond Hill, Canada
Date: Feb-21-2016 for a stay in Feb 2016

The chalet was very comfortable and wonderfully equipped. The proximity to the village was tremendous and the skiing this year was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the different levels of the chalet, the billiards table and the media room; after we figured it out! We would suggest that for ease of operation there should be some instructions posted near the audiovisual equipment.

The only negative that we would point out to any future guests was that the entry level was very small. Trying to squeeze everyone in as they were dressing or removing outerwear was difficult.

A great space for multiple couples!

Cameron from Vancouver, Canada
Date: Feb-07-2016 for a stay in Jan 2016

We came here as a group of couples and two singles in late January 2016. There are four excellent sized bedrooms with either king or queen beds, and another bedroom with two sets of bunk-beds. All the rooms were great, and there are plenty of great updated en-suite washrooms! We were really impressed! The amenities (including the hot tub, fooseball table, and pool table) are exceptionally clean and wonderful. In particular, we loved the main living area which has a wonderful view of the weekend fireworks in the village. PS: the cabin probably needs some new pool cues and a new fooseball which we couldn't find.

Our only challenge was with the ski-in. The ski-out is simple: you walk out the front door of the cabin, and walk down to the trail just below the cabin. It's a 10 step walk and then two minute ski down the bottom or plaza chair or ridge rocket chair. The ski-in is a bit more complicated: there's an unmarked sharp left-turn available off of the wood-cutter run but it takes you onto the road which leads to the front door of the cabin. If you're lucky, the road will be freshly powered; if you're not, you'll have to take your chances with your board/skis or walk about 40 steps down the road back to the cabin. All said, still very very convenient and we would return without hesitation!

Excellent spot for a couple of families. We had a family of 5 plus another family of 4 and another family of 4 joined us for a couple of days. Everyone slept comfortably. The kitchen has two of everything you will ever need plus a third one if you don't like the first two. The view is stunning. The village centre is a short walk. The games room plus the additional media room was a big hit with the kids letting the parents relax by the fire.

Our Wonderful Stay at Pinnacles

Karen from Williams Lake, Canada
Date: Jan-09-2015 for a stay in Dec 2014

Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday. This chalet offered the most relaxing stay of any that we have rented over the years. The chalet is so well equipped that it was like being home without the home busyness. Every need was catered to right down to robes and soap in the bathrooms. And the junk drawers full of all manner of stuff we forgot! We rented the chalet for 2 families with 4 children each but ended adding another family of 4 for 2 nights. We slept 16 people very comfortably for those nights. The rest of the time we slept 12 and had so much room it was delightful. The beds and bathrooms, most equipped with steam showers were exceptional. We felt very spoiled. The hot tub on the deck was used everyday and ran like clock work and stayed clean with the help of a maintenance man every 3 days. Worth noting were the lovely views of Happy Valley and the mountains - sunrise, sunset and fireworks on New Years Eve included! The pool table room and the entertainment room were hubs for all 8 kids and we spent a great deal of time enjoying these amenities. The laundry facilities were wonderful to have and we kept up with washing 24 plus towels and such over the time there! The common area and kitchen are as nice and spacious as the pictures suggest. We all congregated here and the kitchen so delighted us that we enjoyed cooking. Every wish for a pot or pan or appliance has been delivered! Very welcome and very gourmet! We took advantage of the fondue pots and had a glorious HUGE fondue New Years Eve. The chalet is truly beautiful and the d├ęcor so pleasing that we loved every minute there. The ski in and ski out was OK. We would definitely stay again. Absolutely loved the place. Thank you so much Larry and Eva

This is a wonderful chalet. We stayed here over the Christmas week and it was our first time up at Big White. The chalet is perfectly located with every amenity one could hope for. Larry was very easy to deal with and booking was very easy. The chalet is very well equipped especially the kitchen. The hot tub is also great! Thanks for making our family Christmas such a lovely experience

Spring break family ski vacation

Excellent spot for a couple of families. We had a family of 5 plus another family of 4 and another family of 4 joined us for a couple of days. Everyone slept comfortably. The kitchen has two of everything you will ever need plus a third one if you don't like the first two. The view is stunning. The village centre is a short walk. The games room plus the additional media room was a big hit with the kids letting the parents relax by the fire.

Great unit for families

What an awesome unit. The view is amazing, unit is large and great for a couple of families. The kitchen has everything you need. Games and Media rooms are a great option for apres ski. Ski right out and down to to Ridge or Snow Ghost Chairs. Ski in is a bit trickier, but overall a superior spot to stay!

Wonderful family retreat

We held a multi-family vacation at Pinnacles 1 and thoroughly enjoyed the amenities of the home as well as the Big White experience. We would definitely recommend the multi-level home as a tremendous place to stay. Each of three families with 5 children ranging from 0 - 14 had space to play (together and apart). The excitement was shared when the hot tub crew got stuck in the snow in the driveway! Seriously all the necessities are provided including comfy robes. Would love to see it in the summer! When the littlest is ready to ski we'll be ready to return.

Nice place. Have stayed there for the past several years. No upgrades since I have started staying there. Will not stay there again when there are other more modern similar size places for the same price.

We love Pinnacles 1!

This is the second time we have stayed at Pinnacles 1 and would not hesitate to return again. Both visits, our group consisted of two families with teenagers sharing the space. It is perfect for this type of trip because the multiple floors allows people to have their own space when they need it but to come together in the great room and kitchen for shared meals and evenings. Sitting around that long dining room table with friends and family, eating a home-cooked dinner and the mountain view wrapping around the house - what could be better after a long day of outdoor activity. The pool table, outdoor hot tub/spa and entertainment systems adds to the "home away from home" comfort and experience. The location allows easy ski in and out and the village is close enough. The view is spectacular and the skiing/snowboarding awesome - so many runs - no waiting for lifts - reasonable in cost. All in all, Pinnacles 1 at Big White shapes a excellent ski vacation for a family.

Beautiful cabin, with all the amenities of a high-scale hotel

This was our second time staying at the cabin, and I guarantee we're hoping to stay there again next year and in years to come. The cabin has all the amenities we require and more and is very comfortable. The one comment we had which we encountered the last time we were there also is the dishwasher not working well. Last time the handle didn't work and this time it didn't cycle through so we would manually do it and we also didn't think it cleaned the dishes well. Other than that, no complaints. Thanks, Kristina

This exceeded our expectations.

Thank you for allowing us to rent your chalet. This was far better than we expected our vacation to be. The chalet itself is beautiful. All of us appreciated the comfortable beds and linens. (not always the case with rentals!) The spaciousness, furnishings and design was so comfortable and so much mountain chalet style. All of us loved the location; it made it so easy to go for a few runs in the morning, home for lunch and then back out again. The kids would often go down to happy Valley or up to the village - and your place is conveniently between the two. It also helps that we had such great snow conditions too. It wasn't that busy on the lifts so hardly any wait time - if any at all. Just a great vacation for everyone. Thank you, thank you! kinds regards, Blair, Lorraine and family.
