Our Ski-in/out property is set directly on Perfection Run itself, with direct access for skiing down to the high speed Snow Ghost Express and the Ridge Rocket Express and Plaza Chair, giving fast access to the rest of the mountain or the village centre. |Is there a Doctor on the Mountain?||Yes. There is a doctor on the mountain from the hours of 3pm to 6pm. The doctors office is located in the Whitefoot Lodge at the village centre to the left of the Deli. Contact Doctor Figurski's at Tel:765 0544|
|Are there any Banks/ATM's/Currency Exchange facilities on the Mountain?||The is no Bank in Big White. However, there are four ATM machines. They are conveniently located at Raakel's, Snowshoe Sam's, the Villlage Centre Mall and the Mountain Mart. You can exchange foreign currency at Big White Lift Ticket Condos Office located in the Village Centre Mall.|
Transport from Kelowna Airport to Big White.
|How can I get from Kelowna Airport to Big White? and How long will it take?||There is an Airport Shuttle bus that runs between Kelowna Airport and Big White. You can take this by ringing 1 250 765 1377. Big White request that you make this reservation 72 hours prior to the date of departure and the shuttle bus runs approx every two hours. The best thing to do is to ring and book this once you have your arrival and departure times at Kelowna Airport. When you call them they will advise you what is the best time to take the bus to link up with your flight. The journey between the airport and Kelowna usually takes about 50 minuites. However, if the snow is heavy it can take longer. So it is best to allow plenty of time. The shuttle bus is very comfortable and has plenty of room for luggage and ski equipment. You can also take a Taxi which cost approx CAN$120 each way.|

We had a fabulous stay at this vacation home! Place was very roomy for the four of us and had everything we needed. It was clean, kitchen was well stocked, living room was comfortable, nice having a warm garage to store all of your equipment in, easy to ski in/out, the hot tub was great at the end of the end!
Owners were very quick to respond with answers to my questions. Would definitely recommend this home to friends and family and would love to come back if available for another stay! Just wished we would have stayed more than 4 nights!View Full Review Owner Has Responded

This was our second stay in this ski condo, and we hope it will not be the last. The unit is marvelous - very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The location is superb - true ski-in and ski-out, and also with very convenient access to the village. Great place to stay in Big White- Great Value

I have just returned from 10 nights at Big White staying at the Smiths Ski Chalet. Booking direct with Beverley Smith was the best decision I made. Nothing was a problem and everything was just as described or in all cases even better! The house is fantastic with all the inclusions that you need on a ski holiday. Hot tub, heated floors, comfortable beds, plenty of storage, garage for skis etc 3 toilets 2 x bathrooms and lots of towels and robes! Big mention also goes to the WIFI...quick and available this made everyone happy!
The house is on Perfection run which is a blue run, an easy ski out and a bit more challenging skiing in for the beginners in our group, until we discovered the Mogul track which became the easy way to get home. (This was also free of moguls...thanks to the snow hosts who showed us this track) I would recommend this place as it was a fantastic home to spend xmas and new year with my family which included two adults and 2 older teenage children. We could walk to the village and if required the free shuttle stops right near the house. My stay could not have been better! Thanks again Beverley for your hospitalityView Full Review

The Smiths' townhouse is beautiful. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived, which is important to us. It is nicely furnished, very spacious, and included all the amenities needed for a pleasant ski vacation. It is exactly the way it is described on the AlluraDirect website. The location is excellent; truly ski-in, ski-out, and an easy walk to the village. We will definitely try to book this unit on our next trip to Big White.View Full Review

16-20 Jan 2015: Perfection was an AWESOME place to stay. It was comfortably appointed with small details like a big drying rack for wet ski gloves, nice serving ware, hot tub towels and sleds as well. We loved that it was truly a ski in/out place. It was about a 10 min. up hill walk or less to the village center. Unfortunately both ping-pong balls were cracked so we could not play....
It was overcast most days, especially in the higher elevations and we had a small bit of snow each day. Lift lines were non-existent and the runs were not crowded! We bought discounted Biggie Lift Cards at Costco before heading up to the mountain (two cards for CAD$32+tx) Most people we ran into were friendly and helpful & the skiers polite. Stayed at the Smiths Ski Chalet for a week and had a wonderful stay. The home is well equipped and we never ran out of supplies. The beds were super comfy with cozy, warm duvets. The ping pong table was a big hit with our kids and had many competitive rounds in the heated garage. Audio system and large TV were awesome! Location is amazing...just down the driveway and you're on the hill. Without hesitation we would stay here again.

The Chalet was bright, clean, very well equipped, comfortable and close to the ski slopes. It snowed three of the four days we were there with over 2 ft of accumulation. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table. It was perfect for our family of four. The only downside was having to check out by 10am. We will be back to stay again.

Condo very well located. Very good access to the slopes. Free shuttle to the foot condo, very convenient. Very good comfort, and quiet condo. Perfect for a family or other in this condo very nice. We highly recommend this condo, and as usual, no surprises, everything went as planned with alluradirect.

If your interested in first tracks,take a few steps and you are right on Perfection run; you are good to go! At the end of the day you can ski down Perfection, stop off at "Rachael's " for a beer and some live music. Rachael's is very close to home base, but far enough away that you have piece and quite. For those who love to relax after skiing all day, the private hot tub is great. The town house has lots of added extras, fantastic. You are also close enough to walk to some great restaurants in the evening, recommend the Lotus if you like Thai, and Carvers for Indian. Will book here again for sure.

We loved your home it had all the extra space which we thought was such a bonus. The 3 levels were great to be able to spread out. Our kids did enjoy the ping pong table. The location to the ski lifts made life easier no walking with skis. The hot tub was so enjoyable after skiing,we did have fresh powder to ski in for 2 days. Just one thing the lighting in the entrance way was poor as the bulbs have burnt out, also in the open garage area lights were out as well. Love the heated floors.

Hello, We had a wonderful time at your lovely place, thank you! It certainly had all the comforts of home and the location and amenities were excellent (this is our 8th year at Big White) so we have lots to compare it too! Thank you for the welcoming bottle of wine (nice touch!) I loved having a separate basement with full size laundry and drying racks and especially loved those heated floors! We had a great mix of spring sking and fresh powder - we skied 6 days and took a day off to ice climb, go tubing and go for a sleigh ride. Just a couple of notes for you: thought you should know the door was left open (ajar) when we arrived and there were no sheets for the pullout - we arrived after 1am so could not call housekeeping. My only recommendation would be to purchase a foam topper for the pullout (avail at Costco) it would appear the sofa is getting a lot of use and starting to show it. The Smiths chalet was excellent and contributed significantly to a wonderful holiday. It was well appointed in every way making us feel that we were at home while being on holiday, and far more relaxing than you get from an hotel experience. The The location was simply superb being very close to the Perfection run making ski in/out a dream.

Big White gave us a little of everything again this year - some blue bird days (awsome) and some heavy snow. As usual, the canadian hospitality was second to none. My daughter hurt her knee and couldn't get to the dogs for the ride so Jim who had taken us on a sleigh ride the previous day took us down there then took us back to the car so she didn't have to walk - excellent service :)we will definitely be back!!
