This townhome features two distinct Living Room Areas. Blacksmith Lodge is ideally situated for all aspects of your vacation. We are conveniently located just below the upper village and a short, 3 minute walk, from the new Happy Valley Day Lodge which features a host of activities and ammenities including the new inner tube park, several large skating and hockey rinks, shops and restaurants. Ski trails run directly behind the townhome providing true ski in/out access. The unit is close to everything but still just far enough out of the villages to offer a real sense of privacy.

Originally from Toronto we relocated to Seattle about 8 years ago in order to be closer to the mountains. Lisa is an elementary school teacher and I am a Software Engineer for a large finanicial institution. We are both outdoor activists, hence the appeal of Big White and the surrounding Kelowna area. Well equiped, cozy, ski-in ski-out condo. Great kitchen and spacious living area. We are 6 friends over 60 and this condo could not be better. The owners were very informative and checked to make sure everything was working well. Thank you!
My family and I stayed here for a week in March, we could not think of better accommodations. This home was equiped with anything would should need, including welcome bottles of local wine. We are already planning our return. The owners were excellent to deal with and even gave us a welcome call to make sure everything was to our liking and if there was anything they could assist us with. None of us have a negative thing to say about this home. Would recommend it to anyone wanting vacation at Big White.
We absolutely loved your property, Gregg and Lisa. It was perfect for our family of 5, and the ski in, ski out access was perfect. Your emails prior to our departure were greatly appreciated, as was the phone call to make sure we had arrived and all was well. Also appreciated was the two bottles of wine that we enjoyed, compliments of you! Your home is lovely, and we felt right at home there. The hot tub was used daily, after a full day on the slopes, and all the literature you had available was very useful. Just a note that it still calls Sante Grill the Kettle Grill --- we had a little bit of a problem when we called to make a reservation, til we remembered that we saw the name Sante Grill while we were skiing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, as well. We had a wonderful Valentine's Dinner there! All in all, this was a superb holiday, and we loved your property --- thanks so much!!
The condo exceeded our expectations by far. The lay out was perfect for 2 families. The amenities were fantastic and everything we needed was there, from pots and pans to a hair dryer. Also loved the welcoming bottles of wine. The location was perfect and the hottub was fantastic!! loved sitting in it at 6am and enjoying the peace and quiet. Will definately be back. This is a wonderful vacation rental. Gregg and Lisa go out of their way to ensure the comfort of their guests. The unit itself is in a very convenient location and is absolutely immaculate. It has everything one could need for a relaxing getaway to Big White.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at BlackSmith Lodge. The location of the lodge was ideal - close enough to the Village to be convenient without being in and amongst all the noise. It was also a short ski down to Plaza or Ridge Rocket lifts - so quick to get up onto the slopes. The quality of the accommodation and amenities was first rate without being over the top. This made us and our kids feel very comfortable. A few years ago, we stayed at Northstar at Lake Tahoe and I would rate BlackSmith Lodge as better value and quality.
