We have a beautiful open living room with 'hand scraped' hardwood flooring, a large floor to ceiling glacier rock, gas fireplace and huge windows, offering a fantastic view of the Monashee mountains. This room is furnished for maximum comfort, with 2 luxury leather armchairs, a stylish wicker armchair, a 3 person sofa, coffee table, end table, lamps, fittings and more... Plus a TV, DVD player and surround sound stereo system.
The dining room is an open area which backs onto the living room. The dining table is a large 6ft solid wood table, custom made with distressed wood panels, comfortably seating 6/7 adults. The dining area adjoins the breakfast bar from the kitchen, which has additional stool seating for 3 people. All chairs and stools are produced in the same wood style & finish as the table. The dining area also provides access to the large private deck.
Wonderful Canadian Ski cabin rustic style townhome with fantastic views. You will love the convenience of our great central location, just a few steps from the village centre and the happy valley gondola. Ski in and ski out, the Bullet express quad chairlift is within 50 metres of Towering Pines. You can prepare your own food in the comfort of your own home or simply stroll to the village and enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants, the choice is yours! We moved to Vancouver from the UK in April 1999 and were determined to make the most of the ski opportunities in B.C. (after all, we only had hills and rain in England!). We first visited Big White in February 2003, with our 3 boys and my sister & her husband and we had a fantastic time! We always wondered what people meant, when they spoke of skiing on perfect powder and now we know, the skiing was just great. Relaxing in the hot tub afterwards with our family, while watching the snowflakes fall was lovely. We all said at the time; 'wouldn't it be great if we had our own place at Big White'. We never really believed of course that it would happen, but here we are now in the very fortunate position of having our very own property.
