Our home is warm and cosy in a very quiet position in the complex for peaceful nights! However, only 2 minutes from the Whistler Village centre! The underground parking bay is literally underneath the unit.

Reservation Changes If availability permits, and in accordance with our cancellation policy. You may lengthen your reservation if availibility permits. If you would like to shorten your booking however, note that your deposit calculated on the original amount is non-refundable; if you have already paid the balance, then your balance is similarly non-refundable. If you have not paid the balance, it will be re-adjusted to reflect the shortened reservation.

Guest Stay Policies

Check-Out Time 10 am. You will be charged $35 if our cleaners arrive and you are still in the suite.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Will be passed on to you. When applicable, we will discuss additional charges directly with you by phone, afterwhich you can use this online payment system to make the appropriate payment (damage, cleaning and garbage removal cost).
Excessive Noise By 24 hr security company. Will be evicted for excessive noise, common and private property damage, disturbing the peace
Garbage Removal Instructions for garbage bag removal will be provided. Excessive garbage in the suite that results in additional costs will be forwarded to you
Housekeeping Depend on the number of nights you stay with us. I will inform you specific dates the suite will be thoroughly cleaned.
Liability We are expressly excluded from liability for personal bodily injury in our home, whilst in transit to, or while on resort property.
Maintenance Emergencies 24-hour cell. Complete emergency information will be provided.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 6 people overnight. Strictly enforced.
Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items as per my stated damage deposit policies.
Noise Restrictions Eviction for excessive noise.
Property Damage Guest authorizes up to a $500 CAD charge on their card upon departure in the event of property damage. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items,smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.

Picture of property is deceiving and outdated. Furniture is not what is shown in picture and is outdated. One of the recliners is broken. I noticed a prior review of this property had the same issue some time ago so negative reviews don't seem to make an impact. Carpets are pretty dirty, kitchen pots/pans/utensils are old, one of the fry pans is very warped and difficult to cook with. The biggest issue is the Hwy 99 road noise. Property is at the back of the complex and next to Hwy 99. If you spend any amount of time in the room, it becomes annoying and it doesn't quiet down later in eve. I'm pretty laid back - it's just a room so i typically don't get too uptight, but this place wears on you quickly. Upstairs TV has 3 remotes, none of them work and no directions, and I'm pretty good with electronics. Positives - property is close to IGA for grocery shopping,pool/hot tub are nice, and shuttle pickup location to the ski lifts is just across the street. You get what you pay for - this property is cheaper than some in area - there's a reason. I've been coming to Whistler for over 20 years, this is top 5 worst properties I've stayed at. Owners need to put some money into this property. I get it - it's a rental and things get worn out quicker. But you've squeezed just about as much juice as you can out of this existing lemon. I won't be back to Northstar. I'm guessing this property isn't reflective of Northstar in general, but if this is the 'bar' set for the complex, you need to adjust that line.

Good location in center of development (Building D). Unit was clean and as described. A few light bulbs burned out upon arrival (5 total) but we were able to replace easily enough with spares provided in the cupboards. Gas fireplace pilot light was out upon arrival but again; we were able to re-light with automatic starter and get the fire going after a couple minutes. Plenty of spare paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex) in laundry unit was a nice touch. Owner was very helpful with directions and access instructions to unit. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing stay and will definitely return again!

This is our third stay in this unit and going back again in 3 weeks. The owner is very responsive and the condo is exactly what we need. The beds are comfy, kitchen and living areas are always very nice and can't beat the location. Marcel is always a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend!

This was a great place to stay. It's close to everything you need in the village. Parking was convenient, wifi was fast, hot tub and pool were clean. Beds were comfy and tv's were flat screens. Kitchen had everything you need to make meals everyday. Maybe some sharper knives and some plastic containers if I had to be picky. I would stay here again.

Sub-par accommodation

We booked this property as a last minute weekend getaway. Booking and check in were extremely easy. We normally stay in the upper village area and were disappointed with this condo. It is very basic with a no frills feel, which is a pity as a few dollars on updates could go a long way.

Furniture was old and broken making time inside not ideal. Patio furniture or should I say the camping chairs left much to be desired. The 2 televisions were great but the TV picture was so terrible we had to go out to watch the sports games. Dont think about keeping the windows open as it is directly on highway 99. This place I am sure would be great for a bachelor or ski weekend with your buddies, but not appropriate as a quite weekend escape.

Unit #7* at the Northstar. We usually stay in Whistler every year for Crankworx and this was the first time we had not used VRBO. The price of the unit is good but once we got there we understood why the price was good. The unit is located at the back of the complex next to Highway 99 which is a busy highway and loud when the windows are open. It got irritating after a couple of days and the window need to be open as the unit needed airing out.

The "twelve steps" need to be explained that there are 12 concrete steps to get up to the front door of the unit. Made it very awkward with a stroller, a baby car seat and a three year old. Took some time to get in and out of the unit with my wife and two kids. Not ideal for families.

The furniture is old, needs updating. There are two lazy boy style chairs, one is broken and not comfortable. The deck furniture consists of cheapo camping chairs, one of which is completely broken, we did not sit on the deck at all. There is no BBQ.

The coffee maker is great if you know how to use it, luckily I have the same one but the previous occupant put ground coffee in the bean grinder. I dumped the grounds out and cleaned the machine and it seemed to work ok. The kitchen is tough to cook in. One of the burners is completely broken on the stove and we did not bother to use the oven as the buttons are broken. The pots and pans are old as well and scattered. Utensils are old as well. Can opener is useless, cheese grater broke, the glasses all needed cleaning before we could use them, knives are extremely dull and useless to cut anything. Very disappointed with the kitchen situation.

There were 5 different remotes for the TV, DVD, etc. Most did not have batteries which we emailed the request to the owner on the 9th of August, we received batteries on the 12th, the day before we left. The toilet chain on the upstairs bathroom broke on the 9th, I could not fix it. The owner was emailed on the 9th and it was fixed on the 12th. Unacceptable. The unit did come with two stand up fans which were needed but the base of one was broken and had to be propped up in the corner of one of the rooms..

Overall I was not happy with the conditions. If you are staying with your buddies for a party weekend and don't really care where you stay then this could be an option. This is not a good unit for families that have young children that actually need to spend some time in the condo.

The pool is great and the development is a great location. I do not believe this unit is a good representation of the other units in the Northstar. This unit needs more work to get up to standards that I have experienced in other competitively priced condos in Whistler. I will not recommend this unit or stay in this unit again. Thanks

Great Value in North Main Village Area

The place was in very good shape and a nice place to stay. A great value for the size of place and beds available for the cost in the main village north area. My only complaint would be that the kitchen sink needs to be replaced as is very stained. Otherwise a great place to stay and would recommend this property.
