The 5% GST  (federal tax) will be applied to our posted rates for accommodation when you book through our website.  The posted nightly rate plus the GST is the all in price for accommodation. No surprises! Approved reservations that are less then the posted minimum  stay are charged a one time $60 cleaning fee. Guests making a reservation for 30 days or longer are required to provide a $500 damage deposit. Discuss this with owners prior to reserving our condo.

Property Description

Our bright, roomy top floor condo is located in the heart of Whistler Village and faces  the mountains on the quiet side of the building .You'll get the benefit of a great nights sleep in a perfect location. The living area is open concept with a full kitchen, dining and living room with a cozy rock-faced gas fireplace.; curl up with a blanket and book. The private balcony off the living area has great mountain views so please sit out and enjoy. The kitchen is fully outfitted with linens, utencils, dishes,  cookware and we've supplied lots of the cooking supply basics for your convenience. There are spices, fridge condiments, baking supplies, even popcorn and popper. The fresh, bright bedroom has a queen size bed and large closet for your things. The W/D with laundry supplies is closeted off the bathroom hallway. The full bath comes with soaps/shampoo/conditioner and lotions as well as fresh linens.Check out the beautiful views of the surrounding area and condo pics in our photo album. A picture tells a thousand words! Great for the whole family and the condo is wheelchair accessable.

Our bright cozy living area has a sofa and chair seating for 4 people. The living area has a rock-faced gas fireplace, beautiful views and a new 27" TV with DVD/MP3/VCR/CD players and a great surround sound stereo system. Enjoy the newer videos we provide for a relaxing evening or get into one of the variety of paperbacks or games. Read a book on the sunny balcony.

Dining Area

The rustic table has seating for 4 people. You even have the view of the mountains as you enjoy you meals.

Special Features

Our condo has great mountain views along with an excellent location in the heart of Whistler Village. Just exit out the entry doors and in a few steps you will be right on the Village  Stroll. Doesn't get much better then that! The Village Park across the way lets you enjoy the forest, so take a walk through and enjoy the creek and pond along the trail. You'll forget your in the middle of Whistler. The new  library with the living roof is not only a beautiful structure, but has facilites available to visiting guests. In the warmer months the kids can join in on the outside reading circle set in the adjoining Village Park. We offer free wireless internet in the condo, but for those without a laptop there are internet cafes in the retail shops below on the Stroll. We just love our spot as it gives you the best of both worlds.

24 HR Emergency Maintenance We have a very secured bike locker room where you can confidently store you bike, Bring along your own lock to secure to the floor bar. We supply secured ski lockers for your use so please pick up the personal lock from our front desk staff when you book in.
Air Conditioning The air/cond. unit is wall mounted in the bedroom and theres a great ossilating fan to circulate the cold air into the living areas. Works great in those nice warm summer nights.
BBQ Table top BBQ available late Spring through early Fall. One disposible propane cylinder supplied with others to be purchased by guest from IGA or Hardware store in Village. A cost effective way; bring up addition ones (Walmart in Squamish on the way up has good prices).
Books Variety for all ages. Lots to choose from. Leave one/take one is can be done here. Whistler hiking guide is the exception as it is there all the guests to enjoy and use.
Concierge/Front Desk - On Site There is an excellent Front Desk staff with extended office hours. Late night/early morning maintenance staff available 24/7 for assistance with check-in and parking.

Our home is in Deer Lodge of the Town Plaza Suites; a top location in the heart of Whistler Village and on the beautiful Village Stroll. We're fortunate in that we face west to Main St.; you get the great  mountain views without the nightly racket from the stroll. This puts you within minutes walking distance of all shops, restaurants, pubs, amenities, gondolas and nature trails. So park the car and enjoy the adventure! The Google map available gives an inaccurate location for Deer Lodge as it's closer and more central to the lifts than shown; across from the Village Park on Main St. It's a very peaceful view from our living areas and balcony. Guests love our location and you will too!

If an underage person makes an online reservation prior to receiving our written email approval, the reservation will be cancelled and no refund will be made. Please be aware that any complaints, from either Deer Lodge guests or from our front desk staff, regarding the conduct of the underaged guests staying in our condo will be grounds for immediate cancellation of the reservation and removal of our guests. Our Front-desk staff requires identification and a valid credit card for a preauthorized $500 damage deposit. IMPORTANT: The credit card and ID must be in the name of the registered guest who has booked and is staying in the condo for the duration of the reservation.

People with Restricted Mobility We have a ramp up to Deer Lodge and an elevator close to our condo entry. The condo kitchen and bathroom isn't wheelchair designed.
Pets Permitted with authorization from owners PRIOR TO BOOKING THE CONDO. As a courtesy to others, do not leave pets unattended to bark. The Bedroom and all condo Furniture are off limits to pets. Guests assume all costs incurred due to pet damage and extra cleaning costs for pet hair, so please keep them well groomed for your stay. We have a powerhead vaccum in our unit. We ask that all dogs be well brushed out and clean prior to arrival in the condo. Not permitted on furniture.
Seniors Great condo for seniors. Ramp up to Deer Lodge and the elevator is close by the condo.
Wheelchairs The building is wheelchair accessible but the unit is a standard layout.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Arrival Days Reservations of 31 days and more are required to provide a damage deposit of $500 in the form of cash or bank draft. Once the room inspection for damages/loss is completed on the check out date, and all is then found intact, the funds will be retuned to the guest. A check-in info letter and map will be emailed 5 days prior to arrival unless requested sooner. for reservations of 30 days or less, FRONT-DESK REQUIRES VISA OR M.C. BY THE REGISTERED BOOKER FOR A $500 PRE-AUTHORIZATION FOR DAMAGE DEPOSIT. Check-in info letter contains condo info as well as emergency contact info; the map is a directional map to the condo. Please print both off and bring along for your arrival in Whistler. For the protection of all Town Plaza guests, the person booking our condo and giving their credit-card authorization during check-in must be staying in the condo along with their party for the entire booking. (This will prevent, for example, a parent signing in for their offspring while they stay at different accommodations. This behavior will mean immediate eviction from our condo with no refund.
Cancellations Made by Guests Deposit payment non-refundable. Balance payment is refundable, less 5% transaction fees, if booking is cancelled 60 days or greater in advance. Reservations cancelled 59 days or less in advance are refunded only if we replace your booking. These refunds issued the first day of your (cancelled) arrival where applicable.
Courtesy Hold Reservations Not accepted. Reservations are confirmed with payment.
Delayed Arrivals Not responsible for arrival delays.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Guests will be emailed the Check-in Letter and Map once final payment is made. Check-in Letter contains condo info as well as emergency contact info; the Map is a directional map to the condo. It is the guests' responsibility to have this info/map with them when they arrive.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Stay Contract Guests are required to read through and send back to the owners, Sandy and Rob, a signed/dated copy of the Reservation Confirmation Letter they have received after booking our condo. You will find this at the end of the list of policies. Please read the comments to the right for the full info. Our receiving this letter is a manditory part of the booking process, and is a requirement to finalizing your booking. PLEASE SEND ONLY THE LAST SHEET OF THIS LETTER, SIGNED, DATED AND WITH YOUR RESERVATION #___B704 AS SIGNATURES ARE OFTEN HARD TO READ.
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments If we are not contactd by you within 48 hours, your reservation will be cancelled without refund. Guests can re-book dates if they are still available; deposit will not be re-charged
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Guests agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of the Owner or their booking Contact without prior written consent from the Owner and/or Contact, except under force of law or for law enforcement purposes. Guests also agree to not use Owner or Contact personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Owners and their Contact.
Property Sale If the property is sold, our 'Reservation Guarantee' policy applies to all bookings, with the exception of the Feb.1-Mar. 1, 2010 booking which: In the event of sale the rental will be honored.
Reservation Changes May be changed in compliance with cancellation policy. Lengthening reservation possible if availablity permits. Shortening reservations: The deposit calculated on original amount is non-refundable; if balance already paid your balance is similarily non-refundable. If balance not paid, it will be re-adjusted reflecting your shortened res.

Guest Stay Policies

Bike Storage Secured bike lockup room. Guests to bring bike lock to lock bike to heavy duty floor bracks. This is a secure, locked cement block bike storage room in our complex, but the bike owners assume full responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged bikes when using this service.
Check-In Time 4:00 pm. Earlier check-ins may be possible-please contact us. Check-in services provided at frontdesk:open 8 AM-12 Midnight during ski season and 9 AM-9 PM Spring-Fall. If arriving after hours, please contact us (prior to this time) and we can make arrangements to provide access codes and keycards for the condo.
Check-Out Time 10:00am. You will be charged $60 if our cleaners arrive and you are still in the suite. The suite must be left in reasonable condition after your stay, with any dirty dishes put in dishwasher and started, as well as garbage taken down to the Garbage Room by guests before their departure. Directions to Garbage Room on condo entry door.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests assume all expenses for excessive cleaning costs, the cost to be paid from their credit card.
Excessive Noise Subject to eviction.
Housekeeping Our condo will be clean and ready for our guests when they arrive and a full departure clean/laundry will be done when they depart. As stated in our Policies, guests are required to take all garbage to the garbage/recycling in the parking area. We also require that the dishwasher is loaded and started at departure. We do not offer free mid-stay housekeeping, but if desired, guest paid cleaning can be arranged on request to owners. We have a full size in-suite W/D for all your laundry needs. Full details in comments column. Our cleaning service offers cleaning for $28 per hour (plus 12% HST tax) with a minimum 1.5 hours. Guest must scheduled cleaning through the owners and charges will be added to guests bill at checkout.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Whistler Resort.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 hour phone service. Complete emergency contacts provided for booked guests
Maximum Sleeping Capacity Max 4 overnight guests: eviction if over. Will consider and addition young child with a family group; approval required before booking.
Missing Items Guest authorize a credit card charge for missing items as per my stated damage deposit policies.
Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice.
Property Damage Guest assumes all financial responsibility for damage incured by them or their guests. Booker's MC/Visa is required at checkin at front desk to be used as damage deposit and must be preauthorized. By signing and returning the reservation agreement required during the online payment process, you agree to pay for all damages. Damage includes, but not restricted to noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupants's behavior while in the property or on common premises.

About Us

Hi, Rob and I are on the top right and left in this photo; 3 generations shown here! We have owned our place in Whistler since 2003 and it's always great to get up there and enjoy all that Whistler has to offer. We just park the car and walk to everything. We have less than a 2 hour drive to the Village and leave all the daily routine behind. My husband and daughter Erin's family are the skiers and I'm the dog walker/hiker. If you're just looking to lay your head somewhere safe and comfortable - this is it. We just spent our time primarily on the mountain and taking in all the great places to eat in Whistler. Nothing negative to say as we just used the condo to sleep, for the most part. The owners are attentive and very interested in guest feedback. Quick 5-8 minute walk to lift makes the location great. The unit was very well equipped with lots of little extras that made our stay easy, and very comfortable.....we could have prepared a massive Christmas dinner here had we been so inclined!! Everything was perfect - no issues at all. Everything as advertised. Plus the kitchen was well stocked. Comfortable bed with firm mattress. I 'only' gave the location 4 stars as it's a little bit long a walk to the lifts (about 10 minutes), if your ski boots aren't comfortable for walking in. Otherwise it's right on the village stroll so perfect in the evening after skiing, and close to the Market Place for shopping.

BTW you can take the free shuttle bus, but 10 minutes walking on the beautiful pedestrian only village stroll isn't that bad.

Had a great weekend here for a little early season skiiing. Kitchen was stocked better than expected and everything was clean and in order. Its a little unfortunate the hot tub is across the street but for the great price not a very big deal. Would definitely stay here again!

One of the best condos we've stayed in at Whistler. The location was great (right in the village) and the condo was supplied better than any other condo I've stayed in up there. I love it when you get to a place and they have some of the cooking essentials. This place took that to a whole new level. The whole experience was easy and straightforward.

The only downfalls were the hot tub was in a different building so you'd have to walk outside and across the street to use it, so we never went to it. The other downfall is the lack of free underground parking but this is not a huge issue especially since the location is so close to Lot 4/5.

Would love to have this condo as our regular place to go because even the negative aspects were a stretch to come up with. Loved this place and would highly recommend.

Terrific value, comfy furnishings and excellent location IN the village. Exactly what we needed to come "home" to after active days golfing, cycling and walking the village. The building is a bit dated, but clean and very quiet. The parking spots are very tight for larger Vehicles.

Owners were very helpful and super to deal with for reservation process and accommodating our early check in. We look forward to booking with Sandy & Rob for our next Whistler adventure!

A lovely condo conveniently located in the village. Check in was easy peasy & we appreciated that the underground parking was high enough for our vehicle with a Thule rack. I agree with all of the previous positive comments regarding kitchen extras.

My only improvement comments would be to let guests know that they need to keep their room keycard to dispose of garbage/recycling & maybe something about the fact that there's a free transit shuttle to the gondolas if you walk through the park across the street. We trudged our gear for the first 2 days & then rode the bus on the 3rd day.....ahhhhh.....much less work. We will be back for a summer bike trip for sure!

We stayed here for the 2015 Thanksgiving weekend. We found it to be located in a central area. Very convenient to all Whistler Village has to offer. The unit was very comfortable. There was everything that we needed to prepare a thanksgiving meal! The fireplace was a welcome addition. The unit was cozy during our rainy days.

All the amenities listed were spot on. We will recommend this Whistler condo and hope to return again soon!!!! :)

Wir haben die Ferienwohnung für 10 Nächte gebucht und hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist perfekt, Supermarkt, Lifte, Bushaltestelle, alles in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen. Auch die Ausstattung der Wohnung war sehr gut- zum Kochen war alles vorhanden. Insgesamt haben wir unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen und würden sie weiterempfehlen.

Great Location but not very clean

We had hoped to get into the place earlier than the 4 pm but the reception didn't seem to be open to anything other than 4 pm. I'm not sure if there was someone getting out late or there were lots of other apartments turning over. The apartment is very nice and bright and private as it has a view over the library across the street. It is very quiet, a major plus, while it is close to everything. The disappointment was regarding the cleanliness of the bedding and towels. The bed linens smelled and some of the towels had recent stains. We decided, after the first night, to wash all the bed linens and towels hanging in the bathroom. The duvet inside the bed cover was badely stained and too big for the washing machine for us to wash. So, we put the new clean cover over it. It was really nice to have laundry detergent, coffee, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc. in the apartment. Parking is quite expensive and not included in the rental so if you don't need a car, take a bus to the resort.

We had gone up in early March and did a full Spring clean, including washing the full duvet, so be assured it had been done recent to you arrival. That in mind, early check-in/late check out need to be requested well in advance so we can inform all involved. FYI, We're real happy to grant these when given enough time by our guest! Me and my girlfriend stayed at the appartment for a week in Feb 2013. We arrived with a Whistler coach service, which operates from Vancouver Airport to Whistler. The drop-off location is just next to the Deer lodge, where the appartment is situated. One great thing about the property is its central location. It will take you 7 min. to walk to the Whistler gondolas. All restaurants and bars are in walking distance. The appartment is quite spacious, has a big living room with a fully equiped kitchen. It has everything you need for your stay. We would gladly come back and reccomend a stay at the appartment to anyone looking for a great time skiing in Whistler.

Accommodations where great, location was outstanding and we had a great week long stay. Rooms were clean and we cooked a lot of our meals in our unit and the place had enough pots, pans and cookware for me to make some big meals without worrying about not having something I needed. Room was equipped with a dedicated hard line to the internet and not a wifi. A bit disappointing but nothing to really complain about.

My husband and 18 month old baby stayed here for a week in august. It was the best condo we've ever rented. Rob and Sandy, the owners, have created a really relaxing environment and I really appreciated how well stocked the condo was! The condo is filled with nice furniture and linens and we felt like we were staying at someone's home as opposed to a rental. We were able to cook a bunch (usually a real pain in a rental) with ease. And we loved the location--it's in Whistler Village but faces quiet Main Street across from the library (which is great because the library sells weekly membership for $10/week--especially good for families with kids as there is no need to haul a bunch of books with you!) Rob and Sandy are great owners who take pride in their condo and really care that their guests have a great experience. They were very responsive to our questions prior to arrival. They also had some great restaurant recommendations--all spot on. The price was also very good and we thought it was an excellent value. We loved Whistler and are already planning next year's visit, so we'll be sure to reserve the condo early.

Spacious, Quiet Vacation Rental

My first impression of Deer Lodge was meeting the desk clerk for check-in. The lady was very friendly, quick and helpful with questions I had, however this is where several other condos check-in for Bear Lodge, Eagle Lodge, etc... so this doesn't really represent the condo that I rented for 15 days. Before even booking the condo, Sandra (the manager) called me and talked to me about the dates that were available. She was willing to wait until I could cancel the other location within a few days. This was less expensive than the other place by a hundred dollars but would have liked a better rate, such as $70 to $80 a night, since I was here for 15 days. The condo itself is open, spacious with huge windows to allow a lot of sunlight in! This specific location is great if you open the windows and the balcony door. You can sit and listen to the trees rustling, while you take a nap or read a book. It is also quiet from the busy tourists and rowdy people running around. Only one night was I kept up throughout the night. My purpose for being in Whistler was to attend Crankworx, one of the biggest mountain biking competitions in the world. I do not hear my neighbors taking a shower or anything. Occasionally, here someone walking down the hallway. I think the furniture and carpet could be updated but it is still very clean and comfortable. The decor could be more personalized. My friend is staying at another condo up the street, which has fabulous black & white photography all over the place, over a hundred books and movies to choose from. Gas fireplace could not be used because the gas is turned off during the summer, yet my friend's place he could fire it up. There were some chilly nights that the fireplace would have been cozy to warm up to. I had trouble with the tub clogging and requested maintenance to be done. It was not fixed after the person came up here to unclog the drain. A few days later, a friend that came over took the Draino from under the kitchen sink and fixed it. The next day I was able to take a nice bath. Before this I was sitting in stagnant water while showering. I understand that there are several people mountain biking and lots of dirt going into the drains but I think the maintenance person could have done what my friend did. This condo has a washer and dryer which as been an awesome, no need to go to a laundromat or even washing bike clothes in the sink. I know of other condos around this part of the village that do not have this available to them. Kitchen is nice, to include an expresso machine and all the pots, pans and dishes you will need for making meals. This saved a lot on going out to eat. Condiments are provided in the refrigerator. I have slept very well in the bed provided but I would prefer to have foam pillows versus feather. It has suited me well but would suggest upgrading the mattress, so that the feather top is not necessary. This is my own personal preference though. Others may love the goose feather. The feathers tend to stick out, which can be annoying. Maybe offer the option for people to choose between feather or foam. Overall, this condo was what I was looking for, quiet, spacious and allowed a lot of sunlight (when there was some available) into the living space. I had a full kitchen to save on going out to eat. I have enjoyed my trip to Whistler immensely and hope to come next year!
