Whistler Symphony complex is located in Whistler Village North. It's adjacent to the Marketplace shopping square containing Whistler's biggest grocery store, banks, restaurants, fast food and shops. Many other fine shops and restaurants is just a short stroll beyond ! The free shuttle bus stop at the Marketplace will take you to the ski lifts in less than 3 mins. On the way back it stops right at the complex! If you prefer to walk, the lifts are just 10 mins away.

If you have not paid the balance,then it will be re-adjusted to reflect your shortened reservation.

Guest Stay Policies

Check-In Time 4 pm. Earlier check-ins may be possible-please confirm
Check-Out Time 10 am. Later check out only with prior arrangements. You may be charged $35 if our cleaners arrive and you are still in the suite. The suite must be left in reasonable condition after your stay( please see Property Damage Deposit)
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs We thank you for treating our home with the same courtesy and respect as your own. Additonal cleaning will be charged at $35/hour.
Excessive Noise
Housekeeping Suite is professionally clean before arrival; additional fresh new linens and towels provided if staying 7 days or more. Additional cleaning may be scheduled at the guest's request and expense
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Whistler Resort.
Maintenance Emergencies Please call our housekeeper. Complete emergency contacts provided for booked guests
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 4 people overnight - excess occupants may result in eviction.
Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items as per my stated damage deposit policies.
Noise Restrictions Quiet hours are in effect after 11 pm. Occupants may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for damages resulting from the noise complaints. Please respect your neighbours
Property Damage Guest assumes all financial responsibility for property damage incured by tennants or guest & authorizes up to a $500 CAD charge on their card upon departure in the event of property damage. By accepting our guest stay contract, you agree to pay us for all damages you incur. Damage includes but is not restricted to: noise complaints common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.

Terms of Eviction 2 complaints will result in eviction by security service. Will be evicted for excessive noise, common and private property damage, disturbing the peace

Guarantees Policies

Reservation Guarantee Property damage not caused by you. We will relocate you to a comparable property. If any rate increases associated with the move, we will contribute up to $50 CAD per night towards rate equalization. If we fail to successfully relocate you, you will receive a full refund. "Convenient and easy"
We stayed at this rental during the summer season and chose it because it was on the ground floor. My wife and I found it to be very comfortable as well as a good size for the 2 of us. I was able to secure my bike in the evenings and we both found it an easy walk up to the main shopping area. The ride up the hill to the lifts wasn't too taxing and I used it as a good warm up before tackling the bike park, the ride home was great, no pedalling required! We've since organised for friends of ours to stay in the same unit and are looking forward to going back there again in 2012.

The condo owners are helpful and you can feel that they like to make you home-feel when staying there.
 

"Location, location, location!"
Excellently located, this property is close to the grocery store, liquor store, village stroll, and free village shuttle bus, but across Lorimer Road in a quite complex. The unit has most everything a couple needs for a stay in Whistler, but I wouldn't recommend squeezing more people into the unit. The owner phoned us all the way from Singapore to check that everything was fine, but we had only just arrived, and had yet to notice any deficiencies when he called. The cooking amenities are adequate for in unit meal preparations. The parking is underground with a designated spot. It is very tight for a large/long vehicle (Toyota Tacoma) and wouldn't accommodate an over-height vehicle. Bring a swimsuit as the complex has a nice hot tub, but it will be a little cool Mondays when the water is changed (good to know that it is maintained). Overall, it is a good value for a stay in Whistler

"Good condo, conveniently located"
Spent a weekend skiing/snowboarding in Whistler and stayed here. The location is convenient and right across from the grocery store and village. The unit is in good condition and cozy. We had an issue with someone else parking in the assigned parking space in the garage, so we had to leave our car in the visitor lot for the weekend, which wasn't a huge deal.

LIVING SPACE: Borderline cramped for 4 people as this is a small studio and once the sofa bed is opened, there isn't much room to sit anymore. The extra blankets were old and itchy; I suspect they aren't that clean either as two of my friends' skin had allergic reactions after one night of usage.

KITCHEN: Very minimal equipment so we had to purchase disposable baking pans to make pizza on. The cups and cutlery seemed really dirty and we highly recommend you wash everything before using. We are glad the oven and dishwasher were functioning well and that there was detergent provided. Warning for the oven: since it is old, the plastic covering on the buttons are falling off. Kitchen sink was the worst though: it barely had any water pressure and was essentially dribbling, making it very difficult to hand wash anything.

BATHROOM: For the most part, clean. Towels are thin and again, I'm not sure how clean; I swear I saw a spider scurry out of the extra towels underneath the sink.

OTHER: We were not informed ahead of time that the visitor's parking pass was missing. So we were scrambling around trying to find it before checking out only to be told by the housekeeper after we sent a text explaining that we couldn't locate the pass. Also, it gets really hot inside during the summer (we visited in mid-August) and there is only a tiny fan behind the couch (that we didn't notice until checking out). The fireplace pilot is always on and still emits warm air; we wished it was turned off to 1) save gas and 2) keep the place cooler. Wi-fi is really slow so don't expect to be doing much internet surfing with 4 people connected to the wi-fi. TV also lost signal after less than 5 minutes of being on...?

OVERALL: I've stayed at many many other Whistler vacation rentals found on Allura Direct and this is the one I've been least satisfied with. It's not utterly terrible, but it's not the best. Price is acceptable in the summer and the location is convenient which is why we chose to go with this place. If the linen and towels were cleaner/newer I think we would've enjoyed it more.

Three of us stayed here 2 nights for a spa getaway. The photos don't actually do it justice. It's quite cute with ample space for the 3 of us - 4 would be the max. Good size kitchen. You can always put the Murphy bed up if you need more floor space but we left it down.

*Do note that this is NOT a 1 bedroom suite. The Murphy bed is right there in the room (studio suite). Not much natural light and no view but we didn't care. Quick walk to the village. T

he owners were out of the country but easy to get a hold of and the housekeeper was available if needed. I would recommend posting an itemized list of the kitchen supplies available (no wine glasses, etc.).

Overall, would recommend and return!

Our weekend stay in Whistler

When I first arrived I actually got lost and so I called for directions. They then helped me out and stayed on the phone until I was in the suite which I thought was terrific service.

The suite is nice and is very close to the village so it is easy to get to everything. The suite does come with parking and the use of a hot tub but we did not use either during our stay but they look nice. The suite comes with most things people would use while away on a trip and even had cable tv.

I would definitely use this place again for I thought it was good value for the money and was in a great location.

I love Mr. Tan place in symphony.... this is the first time we travel to Whistler and I couldn't ask for a better place to stay. So lucky I decided to reserve Mr. Tan place.

It was so homey, and we can cook our own food. There is the time when the weather in Whistler was so cold suddenly and we thought it is better to cook inside than going outside looking for something to eat. And surprisingly, Symphony has its own strategic place. It was so close to the village and there you can find supermarket to buy the things you needed. We can just walk to go to the village and so many entertaining things to do there. The host is very responsive replying my emails as well, and the place is very clean. I thank the housekeeper Jacqlyn for that.

Overall, Mr. Tan place makes our 2 days in Whistler is very memorable and we are very happy staying there. It is a really recommended place to stay. Can not wait to go back to Whistler and staying again in your place Mr. Tan :)

Place was nice and for not having a bedroom it still felt spacious enough. Kitchen and living room area is a good decent size which was nice. Only thing I recommend is bring your own pillows they were too soft otherwise would stay there again forsure. Nice and clean and easy free parking was great. 5 min walk to the lower village.

This place was simple but perfect for what we wanted. It is an open room, not a one bedroom. (We missed that in the description and thought it was a one bedroom) - however, there is a Jacuzzi, at a nice hot temperature, just steps away and we walked to everything in just minutes. It was perfect! The one thing to keep in mind though, is that the dishes are running low. Cooking utensils are sparse and when the two of us went to have a glass of wine, there was only one wine glass...simple problems to overcome for the convenience of it all. We will definitely stay there next time we are in Whistler!

The basics: short walking distance to the IGA Supermarket and Whistler Village shops. This is a GOOD thing because you are close enough to the action, but it's QUIET and RELAXING. Place was roomy, well kept, and included a washer/dryer in the closet. Full size kitchen stocked with cookware and utensils. Free, fast, secure wi-fi, and free local telephone. One secured parking spot underground, but the stall is narrow, so take your time to get in and out. How I felt during my stay: It felt very cozy, like I was staying in someone's home. I would definitely stay here again. It was very easy to communicate with the Tan's.

Our stay at The Tan's residence was very enjoyable. Access and check in was made easy as they use a unique key code access lock on their door. I was happy there was a hot tub available for our use. The location was also great, just outside the main part of the village so it offered all the great village amenities within walking distance but was still away from all the hustle and bustle of the bars and nightclubs. I also found that their rental was much more affordable and more spacious than the average hotel room. However, since the space is limited and it is a studio suite, I would only recommend it for couples or small groups (2-3). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely do it again!

Nice little studio right on the edge of the main village. Place was just as described. My wife and I both agreed we would stay there again in a heartbeat. Secure parking was a nice touch but the spots are small for anyone with a larger vehicle. Surprisingly quiet at night even though we knew we had neighbors all around. No stairs if that is a concern.

This studio is located close to the Marketplace, and you can get a free shuttle to the gondolas and the Village - gets you there in 3 minutes or so, so very convenient! Also, the owners are really helpful and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible, even making arrangements for us to a late checkout as we were driving back to Seattle after skiing the whole day. Very good!

When we arrived the dishwasher and cloths dryer hadn't been emptied by housekeeping, and the carpet could be better cleaned. Also the pilot light was out on the gas fireplace. I called the phone number provided for the maintainer and he came over to turn on the gas and light the pilot light. Overall, it is a good value for a stay in Whistler.

We stayed at this rental during the summer season and chose it because it was on the ground floor. My wife and I found it to be very comfortable as well as a good size for the 2 of us. I was able to secure my bike in the evenings and we both found it an easy walk up to the main shopping area. The ride up the hill to the lifts wasn't too taxing and I used it as a good warm up before tackling the bike park, the ride home was great, no pedalling required! We've since organised for friends of ours to stay in the same unit and are looking forward to going back there again in 2012.
