Our beautiful 1BR townhome is situated just off the Village Stroll, in peaceful setting of the popular Northstar complex. Park your car and walk everywhere - you'll be only a few minutes walk away from the village marketplace, restaurants, shops, and Whistler base (lifts/gondola). There's also a free shuttle right across the street.

Our home is on the ground floor and features a large private covered patio with BBQ, open space living room with dining area and fully equipped kitchen, master bedroom, bathroom with spa bath, heated entrance and in-suite laundry. Complex has a nice guest-only heated outdoor pool and hot tub as well as free secure underground parking.

Property Description

Our townhome is a beautiful corner unit on the ground floor. There is keyless entry with a unique code issued for each quest.

A large heated entrance area has a small seating area, rack for ski and pole storage, and a closet containing in-suite laundry. A fully glazed door leads to the hallway with master bedroom to the left and a bathroom to the right. The bedroom has a queen sized bed with two nightstands, a large chest of drawers, 24" smartTV and a mirrored closet. The bathroom is across the hallway with soaker tub/shower. The living room is large, open, and well lit. It has a gas fireplace with slate surround, Queen size sofa bed as well as a 50" smartTV. The dining area seats 4. The kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances and cookware.

The unit is equipped with free Wireless Internet Access as well as free voice-over-internet phone (US and Canada only). Fob card access to guest-only heated outdoor pool and hot tub.

Our townhome is located in the popular NORTHSTAR COMPLEX in Village North, ideally located at the edge of the Village Stroll. It is very easy to find from the Sea to Sky Highway and once you have arrived, all of Whistler's facilities are within easy walking distance. Our unit is in the heart of the complex surrounded by walkways, which allows for a very quiet and peaceful setting.

It's only a 2 minute walk to Village marketplace/IGA, 5 minutes to the Village center, and 10 minutes to the Whistler base (lifts).

Park your car in our secure underground parking and just walk everywhere! There is also a free shuttle across the street. (Marketplace bus loop #4).

Had a few issues with the suite and the property so I would not recommend. Parking garage height was a problem and we had to remove our roof carrier before and after our stay - this low height should have been highlighted. Suite bed was painfully hard, floors too cold and could use come rugs, kitchen lacked some easy essentials like cooking knives and of all things a bottle opener. Suite is on ground level and has no blinds only thin curtains. Only thin curtains which don't block out the lights of the outside lights as night.

Close to village - cheaper than a hotel room

Stayed here in late June for a mtn bike weekend. This condo is located within a gated complex with a communal outdoor pool and hot tub. It is located 5 minutes walk from the heart of the Whistler village. Across the street is an grocery store, liquor store, post office and large kids park. The location is excellent.

The only thing we found lacking was food wrap or Tupperware to store leftovers in the fridge. Not a big deal though as a quick trip across the road to the grocery store solved that.

I would highly recommend this property.

We had a very nice few days. The townhouse situated very close to the Olympic Plaza across from Market Place IGA. The place has everything that you need, free parking, nice kitchen, patio to sit outside and a nice heated outdoor pool and hot tub that we all loved after spending a day of walking around town and trails.

Great for a small family

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this unit. It was big enough for 2 adults, a 4 yr old and 2 yr old. With 2 little kids, we like having a kitchen to cook breakfast and the bbq on the patio was nice as well.

The location was great. We loved that it was right across the street from the IGA Marketplace. This is also close to the kids playground near the Olympic rings. If you come here, you also need to check out Purebread near the playground. Great place to get pastries and sweet breads if you have a sweet tooth.

The only minor complaints I had was there were no paper towels in the kitchen and no laundry soap.

For the price, this place is great value. We would gladly stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay in your Condo- Thank you very much! The location is simply perfect!

Just a couple of suggestions:. For people who have a very early version of Microsoft Word, I could not print off your information. Perhaps send it out in a PDF format like the map, Then easy to print off. The bathroom fan never shut off, we were not sure if that was normal? There were no garbage bags under the sink, perhaps housekeeping just forgot to leave some.

Great value, great stay in Whistler

We really enjoyed our stay in Whistler. The condo was just what we needed and I appreciated the peaceful setting. Janet was very organized, thorough and gave us all we needed to function in the condo. Thank you Janet.

The Peak to Peak gondola was a once in a lifetime ride. So many great places to eat, yet our favorite was the pork burrito at the taco shop which was a couple minutes away. The market also was just a couple minutes away. We never had to use the car since we were able to walk to everything in Whistler. This value was a dream come true.

We found no extra trash bags under the kitchen sink, but I had some of my own. And the condo seemed a little stuffy and the windows had no screens, so we didn't open them, and used the fans.

But all in all, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again if were to visit Whistler in the future. Again, big thanks to Janet.

We rented this little condo very last minute for my boyfriends birthday weekend. The place was a little hard to find initially but when we finally did find it we were very pleasantly surprised. It was very spacious and clean and had everything we needed. It was about a 5 minute walk from the village and a 1 minute walk to Marketplace. You could cook your own meals there if you wanted. The pool was normally pretty busy so we didn't end up going there but it was the perfect little condo for our weekend getaway. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

Bike Park Stay

Stayed at this 1 bedroom condo in June '15 for 3 nights for a bike park visit. WiFi and flat screen TV included. Apartment was fully stocked, only some plastic wrap/tin foil was lacking. We cooked each night, so if you plan for leftovers bring these or your own Tupperware. Unit is ground floor with a gated balcony that you can lock your bikes up to. Hide-a-bed in the living room for the kidlets and a moderate sized bedroom for me and the sandwich maker. I liked the location of this unit as a grocery store, liquor store and various other stores was located right across the street. The main village was a short 5-10 min walk as well. Pool and hot tub were outdoor, communal and much appreciated after a hard days biking. I would not hesitate to stay here again!!

I booked Northstar for the location as I have friends living in Valhalla & Glacier's Reach. The property is well maintained & clean. The only complaint I would have is the bed in the master bedroom is very hard and uncomfortable, to the point the sofa bed was more comfortable. Other than that it is a nice property.

We stayed for 10 days for the purpose of skiing. The home, although not extremely spacious, was just right for our needs. The patio and barbecue were great. The location was very handy to the shuttle bus that goes to the lifts each morning. We were right across the street from the market and shops of Whistler Village. The pool and hot tub were a quick walk from the condo. The hot tub was disappointing on a number of days because the water was not hot enough to really enjoy. When the temperature was up, it was great. Cleaning services were fine, although the cleaner did not show up until the lifts were closed and we were back. He did not leave us any toilet tissue or Kleenex. On whole, the experience was very positive. Instructions and check in were seamless. We would dedinately book this home again.

My family stayed in this unit for 4 days over Xmas Holidays! First of all the secure underground parking was a real bonus. We were very, very happy with the location , across the street from the Market Square offering a large grocery store and village shops!The unit was generous in size and offered everything to make our family break enjoyable! Fantastic location, easy to find. Located ~2 minute walk to the IGa grocery store. Didn't use the complex's swimming pool, but it's right a few steps away. Despite this, it's quite quiet and we had two nights of cooking and eating in without any disruptions. Fully stocked kitchen, included salt and pepper! Only criticism is the Fisher-Price quality kitchen knives. Great two-day vacation.

You Condo is very nice overall. It is in a good location and worked well. I stayed with my young adult daughter. The sleep sofa is bad. The part for the head is lower than the part for the feet and, to be frank, it is a very poor sleep sofa. The mattress is bad and it squeeks. I have stayed at other units just like yours with much better sleep sofas. I slept on it. For that reason I would not stay there if I were going to need a sleep sofa in the future. The Carpet is pretty dirty and /or badly stained. I think it needs a good cleaning as well as better vacuuming. For the record I am a landlord myself with 2 long term rentals so I know what it takes to maintain a property. But the rest of the condo very nice and useable and I would stay there again if it were my wife and me. Hope you don't mind my comments but as a landlord I would want to know what people really thought. Have a happy Holiday Season Jim Shaker

Thank you so much for your detailed review. Our sofa bed and all other furnishings are fairly new - so we immediately contacted our supplier for a warranty repair. It turns out that one of the brackets was damaged, and has since been repaired/replaced. My apologies for your inconvenience during your stay.

Good location and nice outdoor pool and hot-tub. Nice bbq. Dishwater rack broken and no basics in kitchen (no salt or pepper even). Overall lovely stay.

Great accomodation

We were very satisfied with our accomodation. The location was perfect for us - a nice brief walk to the Whistler Conference Centre and the Stroll/Village shops and playpark. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, and went in daily, despite the cold fall weather.

An excellent, ground level, one bedroom condo with a good location adjacent to the Lower Whistler Village with quick walking access to all amenities. A quick trip across Northlands blvd to the market made picking up supplies a breeze. The well-stocked liquor store is part of the same complex. Shops, restaurants. bistros and pubs of the lower village are within proximity. The Upper Village (Blackcomb) is only a 10 minute walk. The condo itself is roomy enough for four and appears to have been updated. Fresh paint, nicely furnished, very clean and well-maintained. Everything we needed for our vacation was there including BBQ and patio. Those arriving during the Spring, Summer and early Fall via the Whistler Rocky Mountaineer Train might wish to consider this condo as an alternative to a hotel. We did. Loved our stay at Janet and Ron's place. The best place to date of our numerous stays at the Stoney Creek NorthStar complex over the years. We didn't use the lovely pool and sauna this time, but it is there for those who choose to. Thanks again to Janet and Ron for sharing their lovely home with us. We'll be back next year!

The Location of the condo was great, just a short walk from the main street of the village. The place was cute. The water pressure of the shower was great. The bed was comfortable, but I think needs to be tightened, as it squeaks every time you turn over! Thanks for a great stay.

My girlfriend and I had a short list of requirements when we were looking - pool, hot tub, good kitchen, a short walk from the village, and most importantly good value. This place had all of our list in spades. We were very pleased.

Easy check-in and check-out. Unit well maintained and equipped. Nice kitchen. 1 small bathroom. Excellent location. My only complaint is that the sofa bed is too uncomfortable for either adults or children to sleep in.

My Husband and I stayed here for 3 nights during Spring Break. the location was perfect, just across the street from Whistler Village (where all the shops, lifts and restaurants are). The Pool and hot tub are close to the condo (but not so close you can hear people) and was a beautiful end to a day of skiing. We cooked in the kitchen, which had everything we needed. We got all of the information we needed right away from the owners, they were very professional. My only recommendation would be to bring slippers as our feet got a little cold!
