Property Description

Entrance: Just inside the private entrance on the ground floor you will find a place to hang your coats, gloves, and skis or boards. Main Floor: Up the stairs on the main floor is the living room, with a couch, gas fireplace and a southwest facing deck. Just off the living room is the kitchen. 4-person bar seating separates the kitchen and living room. Bathroom: The bathroom is situated up the stairs, between the main floor and top floor. Top Floor: On the top floor is the bedroom and upper deck. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, dresser, closet, nightstands, lamps and a mirror. The large deck gets great sun and has fantastic views of both mountains.

Glacier's Reach is located in the Village North, just across the street from a shopping area with a grocery, liquor store, coffee shops, and restaurants. We are less than a 5 minute walk from most shops in the Village, and less than 10 minute walk from the lifts, the nordic/bike trails and Lost Lake, the Valley trail and the Chateau Whistler golf course. There is also a free shuttle service to the lift bases that circles every 15 minutes and stops right outside. We are easily located from Highway 99 too.

On a Personal Note

Our favourite season in Whistler and why. Late Spring/Early Summer, because nothing beats riding the mountain in the morning and swimming in the lake in the afternoon!
What makes Whistler so special and unique? The beautiful scenery, the amount and diversity of terrain, the great instructors, the easily walked village and the friendly people who've come from every corner to ski and ride these great mountains!

The Not So Obvious Types of Tips!

Recommended summer clothing Summers are typically warm and dry, though the alpine can be quite cool. If you hike up top, be sure to bring a few layers for warmth!
Recommended winter clothing Gore-tex is good because of the heavy coastal snow here, with extra layers of insulation in January. From April until the June, the weather changes frequently but can often be sunny and warm.

Whistler Activities

Best day hikes The Rainbow Trail off of Alpha Lake Rd is a favorite.
Best rainy day activities Meadow Park Sports Center...indoor skating rink, two pools, fitness equipment!
My recommended non-skiing winter activities Try snowshoeing on any of the trails around, and bring a camera! Sleigh rides are romantic and nice too.

Sabrina was a wonderful hostess, and was very quick to answer any questions that I had.

As far as the unit itself, it does require some repair - new carpets will be required very soon, as well as a new coat of paint. The kitchen was very clean, but there was a coffee press (which we knew in advance) instead of a coffee pot, which didn't make enough coffee for us any given morning. There was a toaster oven, not a toaster (again, which we knew) which is just personal preference. We only cooked twice the entire time we were there anyways!

We thank you for a lovely stay while we were in Whistler, we had a wonderful time.

Overall we had a great stay here. The condo itself was pretty much everything we needed and the kitchen was well equipped. Lots of towels in bathroom. Unit was well maintained and clean upon arrival. Location was perfect, quick walk to the village where you could find anything you needed.

My only issue was that the pool was closed for maintenance for 4 days of our 5 day trip and at 30 degrees out this was a major inconvenience for us as we had planned our days around afternoon pool time. With that said, it was obviously not the owner's fault and she was extremely responsive, apologetic and did offer us alternatives and compensation for same. I think Strata could have handled things better and I'm sure many guests & owners were not impressed.

If I had any recommendations at all it would be for a BBQ and maybe a patio umbrella :) We would definitely stay here again and I would absolutely recommend to others looking for cute & cozy reasonably priced accommodations close to the village!

The Grarage space was very tight for our vehicle. The overall property seemd dated . The carpeting was worn in a lot of areas and needed new paint and Decour and a thorough cleaning . AC would've been a plus on the lower unit as it was very warm that weekend. A few lightbulbs needed to be replaced. The pool was freezing, The sauna cabana was quite nice though.

Great location. You can walk or take the shuttle to the lifts. Very close to grocery and liquor stores (and the rest of the village). Very comfortable. We only had three people but I think four would be fine.

Both decks are amazing, especially the large upstairs deck which has great views of both mountains.

The owner, Sabrina, was incredibly helpful. During our stay the wireless router randomly stopped working, leaving us without internet access. Sabrina had a new one delivered and waiting for us the next day. Really amazing.

My husband and I found the condo to be quiet, convenient and comfortable for our ski trip. There was plenty of room to place our own items and the kitchen amenities were plentiful. We stayed in this 1 bedroom town house for two nights. We had 4 people in our party and its was fine. We will definitely be back in the summer/fall.

Pros- * 1 min walk from the bus stop (free whistler village bus) * Community pool and spa are awesome * Close to the North end of the village and there are some shops and restaurants there.

This place was ideal for our 6 day stay, which was 3 adults. We were primarily focused on skiing in Whistler and with visiting each other. The Market Place and bus shuttle was right across the street, which made this a convenient location. There was a public pool and hot tub, and sauna. Free parking was great. All of the necessary amenities were provided such as dishes, towels, clean sheets, etc. There were two great balconies, but wish there were some furniture to sit on the deck, and there was no BBQ.

The place was clean, but for the Oven, which set off the fire alarm. There was limited TV channels. But, internet worked great!! The owner's were extremely quick in addressing any concerns we had. The price was very reasonable.

I would recommend this place for a small group or small family. I will most definitely book this place again in the future. :)

A bit small for 4 Adults

Small for 4 Adults but we made it work. The fold out bed is pretty small but we had brought an air bed so we were ok. Location is pretty good. Just a couple blocks from the Village. The biggest issue is with parking. We had 2 cars. I was told by the management that we could park the 2nd car at the library for $15 per day. Per day? She meant $15 for 12 hrs. So a total of $30 per day. After that we found another parking garage that you could park for $14 for 24hrs. We had to walk a couple of extra blocks but half the price. On the up side the WiFi worked well and when our kitchen faucet fell off we called the emergency # I was called back within minutes and they sent someone to fix it while we were out snowboarding.
