Welcome to our Whistler townhome.We have been flying to Whistler for many years and we have chosen this location to ski, hike, bike and golf.We especially enjoy the variety of fine restaurants, cafes, diverse activities, feslivals, events and surroundings that Whistler has to offer year round. We are an active family and we think this place suits our needs best.
While we were happy with the location to the village, having to carry luggage and food for a 10 day stay up the 30+ stairs from the garage to the unit and another 15+ stairs to the bedrooms got old real fast. Being instructed by the owner to notify them on arrival of items requiring attention so as not to be charged, the owner was quick to acknowledge my email but maintenance never showed while we were there. We were very surprised not to see housekeeping during our stay, we expected them by the 5th or 6th day. Items needing repair included a window screen that we had to tape to keep in place, closet doors off their runners, microwave vent cover broken off, drink stained carpet, and cigarette butts scattered on the deck. We appreciated the laundry facilities in the unit, the kitchen utensil were adequate but could of use some serving dishes, and the beds were very comfortable. While we've always enjoyed our time in Whistler, we'll be looking for someplace with less stairs next time.
