Welcome to RIVERSIDE, conveniently located in Whistler Cay. We are just minutes from the Village, but miles away in spirit. For those of you who enjoy peaceful, quiet evenings and restful sleeps, look no further. Newly renovated and furnished with superb attention to detail. This is no ordinary condo! We bought this home for its year round appeal. It's our 'cottage' on the lake and our ski 'cabin' all in one. A perfect location for year round fun and relaxation!  Property Description

Well laid out Garden Level one bedroom with long rectangular floor plan. A stepped down living area at one end, entry, kitchen, dining, bath in the middle, and bedroom at the opposite end. Great for friends or couples that want their own private space in the evenings. This end unit, with windows on three sides has lovely views and a private setting.

Our kitchen re-design resulted in some challenges for us - How to fit all the major appliances in a compact space and have all the bases covered? Hmmm... We did our best, but something had to give and that was a full size oven. So if you're a baking fanatic, this may not be your place. However, I think we got everything else spot on. From plenty of dishware/glassware to cutlery and kitchen gadgets. It's all here, sharp knives too.
House rules: Please replace whatever you use and don't put away dirty items. Leave it out for the cleaner.

Art	Original artwork in the living room and work by local and international artists on a rotating basis.
Decor	Funky & modern in the living/dining/kitchen. A little more traditional in the bedroom. Either way, it is a warm and cozy place. Wait until you see the fridge.
Exposure	Cool in summer with afternoon sun flooding in.
Views	A four season kaleidoscope right outside our window. Views through the wetland area and beyond to the blue waters of Alta Lake in summer. White blanket of snow as far as the eyes can see in winter.

We use our home alot, and like our comforts, so every effort has been made to include everything you would need for a carefree and enjoyable stay. If we missed something, be assured we will make every effort to include it for your next visit.

Basic Food Staples	A really good selection of the basics, including assorted oils, spices, coffee and teas, as well as refridgerated condiments, etc. Please replace what you use.
BBQ	As I mentioned before, we don't have a full size oven, so hopefully this will help.
Cable TV	One TV in the living room, one in the bedroom. 50 channels to choose from including CNN & CNBC for all you news junkies.
CDs	Assortment of easy listening & soothing music.

Computer	Not quite, but a full mini office waiting for your laptop.

Dining Area	Geared for those romantic dinners for two or four, even six. Our unique dining table has been custom designed and built to be versatile. Easily moved for any seating option.

Guest Parking	Ample outdoor parking. Courtesy snow shovel, winshield scraper and brush, just in case you forgot yours.
Hairdryer	Yup! A good one with retractable cord and attachment. Ladies' - leave yours at home! You will have more room for other items then. :)
Indoor Secure Ski and Bike Storage	Locked ski/snowboard storage just outside our door.
Iron and Ironing Board	Ironing board is not full size, but adequate for all your needs. We have spray starch too!
Laundry Facilities	Extra large capacity washer & dryer with all the laundry supplies you may need.
Living Area	Just a small step down from the dining area. Large comfortable sofa and separate chair all arranged around the fireplace. All lighting on dimmers, even the table lamps. Views through the reeds to the lake in summer. An endless blanket of snow in winter. Plug in our outdoor lighting and illuminate the natural beauty and bring the outdoors in!
Local Internet Access	Unlimited high speed ADSL internet provided as well as cables.
Logs	Complimentary firewood & kindling provided. Chopping block, ax & hatchet also available for those Paul Bunyon moments.
Patio Furniture	Assortment of outdoor seating/lounging options. Remember, we're by the lake, we love to lounge!
Printer	Fax/copier/scanner. The software discs are there as are all cables needed. All you need is your laptop. It couldn't be easier to be away from 'the office' when you have one here at RIVERSIDE.
Resort Information	We have lots of information in the unit divided in 'summer' and 'winter' boxes.
Stereo	Mini 3 disc CD player/tuner with superior sound.
Telephone	Free local calls. Long distance calls require a calling card or pre-paid phone card. Fax/Printer/Copier also in the unit.

We ask that our guests take a moment to review the policies listed below. There are no exceptions to these property policies, unless otherwise noted in the comment section. They will require your active acceptance when you book our home. Please read them carefully and become familiar with them. Cancellations Made by Guests	There are three scenarios for cancellation listed to the right, based on the amount of notice given. Please familiarize yourself with them fully BEFORE booking with us.	Cancellations made with greater than 60 days notice prior to arrival date are fully refundable, less processing fee (see below). Cancellations made with less than 60 days notice and greater than 30 days notice prior to arrival date are subject to a one night charge based on your inbound date. The balance is refundable, less processing fee (see below). Cancellations made with 30 days notice or less from arrival date are subject to a minimum one night charge based on your inbound date and a maximum of full payment. The balance is refundable, less processing fee (see below). We will refund your money accordingly, if we can replace your booking. Refunds are based on the number of nights re-booked and the re-booked rate. We will make every effort to rent our unit for the specified dates. All cancellation refunds are subject to a 10% credit card processing fee and all costs associated with foreign currency conversion, bank charges (i.e. creating money orders or bank drafts), and all postage costs for registered mail. Lastly, you will receive a detailed account chronicalling all costs associated with processing your refund. This will be mailed to you with your refund cheque.

Complaints Concerning Property	Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification.	Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Courtesy Hold Reservations	Not accepted	Reservations will only be confirmed with receipt of payment.
Delayed Arrivals	No refunds for missed nights	So sorry - we cannot be responsible for delays due to any unforseen circumstances, such as, poor weather, road condtions, delayed or cancelled flights, etc.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information	Emailed immediately after full payment is received.	As soon as possible for last minute reservations.
Excessive Noise	This is a quiet neighbourhood. Noise complaints may result in eviction by local police or security personnel	Normal conversation and laughing pitch is permitted. Screaming, swearing and yelling are not.
Guest Account Termination	The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings.	Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Stay Contract	Required to confirm reservation.	Please sign, date and return your 'Reservation Confirmation Letter' as requested.
Housekeeping	With our compliments.	Before arrival and after departure. For stays longer than one week, light housekeeping may be provided weekly if requested. Any additional houskeeping services can be arranged at your expense with prior notice.
Ineligible Guests & Refusal of Business: 48-Hour Reservation Cancellation	The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking.	Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments	Failure to pay by due dates will result in automatic cancellation. See cancellation policy for more details.	Guests can rebook dates if they are still available. The deposit will not be charged again.
Liability	We are excluded from liability for personal bodily injury in our home, on the common property, while in transit to, or while in the resort.

Maintenance Emergencies	We've made prior arrangements.	We provide those important contact numbers for booked guests, including ours!
Maximum Sleeping Capacity	Three people overnight	Strictly enforced. Parties over the maximum is grounds for eviction.
Minimum Age Requirement	Here's the skill testing question. Can you live up to the terms of all the policies on this page?	If yes, then we welcome you to our home.
Pets	Not permitted
Privacy	The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests.	Guests agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of the Owner or their booking Contact without prior written consent from the Owner and/or Contact, except under force of law or for law enforcement purposes. Guests also agree to not use Owner or Contact personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Owners and their Contact.
Property Damage	Guest will be responsible for all damage incurred during their reservation period.	By accepting our guest stay contract, you agree to pay for all damages you incur.
Rental Accommodation Zoning	We prefer long term rentals
Reservation Changes	If availability permits and in accordance in our cancellation policy.	We will make every effort to assist you providing there is availability.
Resort Information	Provided	We have numerous brochures and publications for your perusal. In addition, we have a 'Guest's favourites' log book so you can share your best tips with other guests.
Smoking	Totally smoke-free!	We are non-smokers and insist there is no smoking in our unit. We have a covered patio with an ashtray for those who indulge. Abuse of this policy will result in an AUTOMATIC $100 charge to your credit card.
Terms of Eviction	By 24 hr. Security Company	Eviction will result for any of the following: unruly behaviour, drunken or otherwise, which disrupts other tenants/owners, excessive noise, any property damage to unit, personal effects or common areas.

On a Personal Note

Our favourite season in Whistler and why.

We love them all! Each season has it"s own unique quality. From late Spring in June to early Fall in September, you must experience them all. Whistler is a year round resort! The locals have known it for years, now the rest of the world is discovering it. Summer in Whistler is quickly catching up to Winter visits and for good reason. It is a spectacular time and there is no shortage of things to do. If you are looking for solitude, visit us during the shoulder seasons an be prepared to completely relax.

What makes Whistler so special and unique?

How much room do I have to go into it? Beyond the incredible beauty, the world-class hospitality, service and amenities, two, count "em two power packed mountains with their unbeatable terrain, well, it just goes on and on. You really have to experience it for yourself to truly appreciate how spoiled and lucky we are.
