WHISTLER IS GREAT ANY TIME OF THE YEAR.  Our home is spacious and professionally designed. It has top quality ammenities and some of the best views in  Montebello. All the living areas are on the main floor and look acorss the central courtyard directly up at Whistler Mountain. Enjoy a private patio with hot tub and BBQ in a courtyard setting with views of Whistler and Blackcomb  Mountains as does the master bedroom upstairs.  The second bedroom up has a private deck with sitting area.  My townhome is located at the quieter and less traveled side of the development and simply has one of the best locations and views in Montebello.

THE EXPERIENCE - Everything you need to make your vacation just what you want.  All the fun and excitement is within walking distance and then you can return to tranquility and comfort of Montebello.  Once you experience a stay in Montebello, you will want to come back time and time is just that wonderful any time of year.  Sleeps 6 adults comfortably.

Property Description

FLOOR PLAN AND LAYOUT.  This property has a traditional floor plan with bedrooms up and living space down.  All the living areas, including the private patio with hot tub and BBQ, plus the master bedroom look out over the central courtyard directly up at Whistler Mountain.  The view is great!  The second bedroom up has a private balcony.  Everyone can enjoy good food and conversation from the kitchen to the dining area to the livingroom.  You can enter from your private garage or front door to the large foyer of the home on a heated slate floor.  Going down the hallway you will see why this development has won many awards.  From the design to the decor to the scenery, it is all world class and here for you to enjoy.  Our home accommodates up to 6 people very comfortably (8 people if necessary).  You will see that Montebello vacationing doesn't get any better than this.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests As noted on Rental Agreement. Loss of reservation deposit if more than 45 days prior to arrival. Within 45 days of arrival refund equal to number of nights re-rented during reservation dates less one night's rate as a cancellation fee
Delayed Arrivals Please contact me as soon as possible if your arrival date or time has been changed. I am not responsible for late or delayed arrivals and there will be no money refunded should this occur unless previously agreed to and confirmed in writing
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Coded entry and security alarm. Provided via email after final payment and damage deposit has been made, and rental agreement returned
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise Excessive Noise will NOT BE TOLERATED. There is a very strict Montebello Noise Policy and guests are responsible for all fines and may be subject to evection.
Housekeeping Complimentary. Housekeeping completed before arrival and again at departure. For stays of 8 nights or more, we will arrange for a mid week clean and linen change
Liability We will not be held or take responsibility for any liability. We will not be held or take responsible for injury or illness that occurs during your stay in our home
Maintenance Emergencies Contact numbers provided. Contact numbers will be in your check in package and are in the information book inside the unit
Maximum Sleeping Capacity Six people can be accomidated comfortably with a maximum of 8 people. Additional damage deposit, set up and cleaning charges may be required for more than 6 people
Missing Items An inventory is taken before and after each stay. Missing or damaged items will be charged to you credit card or deducted from your security/damage deposit
Noise Restrictions Property is closely monitored. Loud or boisterous noise will not be tolerated. Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 8:00am. Guest's are responsible for any fines. If a complaint is made regarding excessive noise, guest will be held responsible for any fine that owner receives. Currently the fine is $200 per incident.

Food and Beverage

Best place for breakfast/brunch Well I have always served up a mean breakfast in our kitchen with all the great appliances but if you want a break, then Blacks Restaurant does the trick and you can watch the skiers and bikers coming down the hill. For something extravagent try the Fairmont Chateau Whistler with its incredible and very tasty brunch.
Favorite family restaurant Having two children with different appetites, the Spaghetti Factory has always been the best place to go. A nice atmosphere and good prices make for an enjoyable family dinner. Oh and the crayons really come in handy.
Favorite Pub/Bar There are many throughout the village but you must try the Dublin Pub or Blacks. Both with incredible mountain views and great service.
Favorite up-scale restaurant Umbertos and Araxis, enjoy getting dressed up and enjoying a fine dinner with excellent wine
Most romantic place to eat That"s an easy one......our home with the romantic fireplace and falling snow right outside the door, romance is in the air
Top spot for coffee Blenz in Village North has always done the trick for me, nice service and their Irish Cream coffee is great. Also, great to sit back and relax while you watch the kids play on the wooden playset.

For Skiers and Boarders Only

Best lunch strategies Pack a lunch if possible. Prices on the mountain can be a bit much. But don"t be discouraged in trying the local delis and bars, they offer some great food and reasonable prices
Best ways to find out about weather and snow What always works for me is calling the Whistler/Blackcomb ski line, always up to date and pretty accurate
My Weather tips! The one thing that I can say about the weather is don"t be fooled. It can be raining in the Village and snowing up on the mountains, so be prepared.

Just for Kids!

Best rainy day kids activities This is easy, with my two daughters the Meadow Park Sports Centre is fantastic, fantastic pool area and skating rink. Also the Great Wall Climbing Centre, lots of fun
Cool playgrounds Wooden playground in front of Blenz Coffee in Village North, also a nice playground on the trail going to Lost Lake just to the left of the bike rental shop. This park even has tennis courts. And no visit to Whistler would be complete without a visit to the water playground located just behind the Meadow Park Sport Centre.
What kids should bring Although we do have a selection of games and videos, they might want to bring their own cassettes/cd"s to listen to. For the clothes, make sure they are warm, warm, warm and it gets very cold, cold, cold on the mountain

My Money Saving Tips

Cheapest beer Well, that"s an easy fridge, liquor store is close by and what better way to enjoy a nice cold one but looking out to the mountains
Cheapest groceries Save On Foods or Extra Foods in Squamish, you can save approximately 15%, but I have found that the local IGA store in Marketplace will also have reduced prices on their items
Cheapest times to come to Whistler I have always found that the most inexpensive time is before Dec 15 and after March 31, cheap tickets and lodging, some good deals for clothing and accessories and don"t forget that skiing in the sun is still great
Less expensive places to eat For a relatively nice dinner you can"t beat the Old Spaghetti Factory but if it is pizza you want, Dominoes is great
My biggest money saving tips Don"t forget to bring your essentials because Whistler, as great as it is, can be more expensive so you don"t want to be caught shorthanded. Also for lift tickets and rentals, check out the Allura website for some discounted lift prices and rentals

The Drive to Whistler

Best things to see on the way to Whistler Pretty much everything, the drive too Whistler, although windy is absolutely beautiful. Try and take some time to stop and check out the scenery
My safety tips for drivers new to Hwy 99 In winter conditions, make sure you have good snowtires or even better, 4x4. Always best to drive in the daylight as some of the roads are not fully lighted. Give yourself some extra time, especially if this is your first trip to Whistler. Even though the drive is beautiful it can be a bit tricky. And always, always wear your seatbelts the police are usually out in full force through the ski season.
What I like about the drive Pretty much the scenery does it for me
Where to get the best views Any view stop along the highway is great and don"t forget the waterfalls, they are awesome
Worst thing about the drive The winding and, in some cases, narrow roads. Of course, lots of construction is happening so make sure you are prepared

This place was amazing! We stayed here for a girls weekend in April and all 6 of us had a great time and would recommend the accommodation to anyone!

Check in was easy, the place was extremely clean and fit us all no problem! The only thing I would suggest would be to have more trash bags left in the kitchen as we had to ask the people next door to borrow some, but this is very minor...So close to the village (10 min walk), we would all enjoy staying here again in a heartbeat!

Clean, new, smart, comfortable. We've stayed in a few ski condos, this was very pleasant with plenty of room. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Too far to walk to the slopes but a 3 minute car ride to the ($8 a day) parking lots next to the lifts; minimizes walking in boots carrying skis. And no waiting for a shuttle! House was well equipped and warm with wifi in a quiet neighborhood, with comfortable beds. Indoor parking attached. Dave (the owner) was very helpful and responsive to questions.

Fabulous Family Fun!

We arrived with a party of six family members from multiple locations around the United States. There were 19 inches of brand new snow when we arrived and it snowed an additional 28 inches during the next three days while we skied. We skied our hearts out and and the end of each day, had this beautiful home to come back to and rest our weary selves.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long soaks in the private hot tub. We cooked simple meals in the well stocked kitchen and shopped at the market just a stone's throw from the house. We warmed ourselves in front of the fire. We collapsed in the comfortable beds. We woke up and did it all over again. We are already talking about next year!! Thanks for a truly memorable vacation!

We had a great stay at this condo. It was spacious with a comfortable living / kitchen area and great fireplace. Beds were comfortable. Very close to ski lifts - we chose to drive as we had 5 people, but the shuttle was a ~3 min walk away. Kitchen was functional for cooking.

Only feedback is that it would be nice to have some basics such as salt & pepper in the kitchen. Thanks for a great weekend in Whistler!

We had a great time in Whistler-Blackcomb. Nicely appointed and comfortable unit,after a day of skiing enjoyed the hot tub with views of Whistler mountain.The owner was very helpful with logistics and we look forward to returning.

We had a great weekend getaway! The townhouse was perfect and had all the amenities we would want and need. The kids had enough room to run around and it was close enough to walk to the village. The hot tub was such a nice bonus, especially with the view of the mountains. Would definitely book again in the future!

Location, location, location

This townhouse was absolutely as it was described on the site...unit looked pretty much as it showed. Very cozy and comfortable with ample room for 6 people. Kitchen was very well stocked with more kitchen 'things' than places that are far pricier. Lots of glasses and plates, etc....not always the case in some other rentals. Bathroom had plenty of good towels and facecloths for everyone. Location is excellent....handy to amenities with only a short walk to the lower village.

The owner Dave was most accommodating and efficient... replied quickly to all my emails. Appreciated the free parking for 2 cars and lots of visitor parking if necessary. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay in with family and friends. The location is close enough to the village that it's only about a 5-10 minute walk, but big enough property to feel that you are in a home. Owner was extremely responsive to all emails. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This is a great location to stay in and it's an easy 10 minute walk to Whistler village. The neighbourhood is well maintained, safe and secure. The description of this home provided on the website is accurate and what you see is what you get. We were a group of five adults and we had plenty of liveable space. As is the neighbourhood, this home is very well maintained and cared for. Pretty much everything you need has been provided. The owner was very quick in responding to my email queries and I was made to feel confident about using a web site I had not used for. At first, i was a bit unsure about e-transferring a damage deposit to a person I did not know, but web site reviews and email exchanges with the owner dispelled my apprehension.

Best Whistler Rental yet!!

My family and I have been to Whistler many times and this is by far our new favorite place to stay. The location could not be better. It is nice and quiet yet you are only a 5-10 min walk to the excitement of Whistler Village. The Grocery and Liquor store are walking distance which makes the need to drive obsolete. The unit itself is beautiful. It feels and looks like it is brand new inside and has everything you need to cook and dine in. The attached garage is nice for storing bikes and all your luggage if needed. The beds are comfortable and plenty of linens and towels for all guests. The unit also boasts one of the best unobstructed views of Whistler mountain that I've seen. My family and I are excited to return and stay again!!

We've stayed in a few ski condos, this was very clean and new with plenty of room. Well furnished and equipped. House was well equipped and warm with wifi in a quiet neighborhood, with comfortable beds. Indoor parking attached, and your own hot-tub right outside. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Too far to walk to the slopes but a 3 minute car ride to the ($8 a day) parking lots next to the lifts; minimizes walking in boots carrying skis. And no waiting for a shuttle! Dave (the owner) was very helpful and responsive to questions. Would not hesitate to return!

We just enjoyed a fun and comfortable family vacation in Whistler, BC. We stayed at Montebello #415 in Whistler Village North. It was a convenient location, because it was a short walk to Village Market and then on to Village Square and the lifts. Being near the Market area meant good restaurants and a super market nearby. The condo itself was great. It had all of the comforts of home with added extras like snow, gas fireplace,and hot tub. We covered all ages in our family group from 3 years to 25 and 33 years to us retired folk, at 64 years. The rental was comfortable for all of us and the Whistler vacation offered various activities to all of our age groups.

We went away for a weekend trip, our 5th annual to celebrate a birthday with a combination of family/friends. We have previously always stayed in the Montebello development which gives us enough space to cook meals together, sleep a big party of people and enjoy a private hot tub! Plus the lay out of the two floor unit is nice for separation and to feel as if there is space to move around and hang out in various rooms. We always enjoy the amount of space available for seating, sleeping and enjoying one another's company. Nothing feels crowded and the unit has MANY windows to enjoy the beautiful surrounding views. Not to mention, it's a VERY quick walk to the village! We enjoy how easy it is to go to/from without having to drive. We'll be back!

This is our new favorite spot in Whistler! The location could not be better, quiet development yet only a 5 min walk to the village. The unit itself looks brand new and is very comfortable and spacious. Walk out the back door to the hot tub and have unobstructed views of Whistler mountain! You will NOT be disappointed with this unit!

We rented the place for a weekend ski trip and were super happy with our experience. The place is just as described and Dave (the owner) was very responsive and accommodating. It was nice to be able to eat breakfast and dinner at home, without needing to go out and there is nothing better then hot tub after a day of skiing. It is walkable to get to ski lifts, but we drove instead. Will definitely consider this place for our future Whistler outings.

Very comfortable, great location, well appointed

We had a great stay here for 6 nights over New Year's eve. The condo was perfect for our family, lots of space and comfortable beds, good linens in the bathrooms and bedrooms, and the kitchen had enough dishes and appliances to allow us to cook dinners easily. The location is a very short walk to the Village close access to the trail system is great for walks and runs around Whistler. The hot tub was super after a day of skiing. The only thing to be aware of is that you need to drive and park near the lifts. Walking is not really great in ski boots to get to and from the shuttle at the village (10mins waling in ski boots is not good and the short distance that the shuttle takes you after waiting so long for it is not worth it). Overall, a great condo, well appointed, clean and comfortable. Really good location for a short vacation stay summer or winter if you don't want to be in the Village but want to be close to it.

My 6 friends and I were thrilled with this home. The 7 of us were comfortable and really pleased with the space. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies to cook. The 3 full bathrooms really helped for getting ready in the morning. We loved the hot tub and fireplace. It was an easy 5-10min walk to the village. It was a really quiet neighbourhood. I did note there's a fine if you're called with a noise disturbance. I recommend bringing shampoo and soap as there were none in the home. Also, communication with the owner was amazing. Very responsive and patient with answering all my questions. Definitely recommended to everyone!

Fantastic Winter Getaway

My 6 friends and I (all around mid 20's-30's) stayed in this home comfortably. We were very happy with this Whistler getaway. The home was bigger than we expected. The pictures are accurate for what the place looks like. The kitchen was well stocked for us to cook. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplace esp since there was snow! We really appreciated there were 3 bathrooms. I liked how close it was to the village which was about an easy 5-10 min walk. The communication with the owner was FANTASTIC. He was very patient with my multiple emails. I wasn't comfortable sending the damage deposit as direct deposit (as opposed to credit card) but he explained his rationale. In the end, I did get it back. My advice for staying here is to bring your own shampoo and soap since there weren't any. And I would not recommend it for people who party since they have a really strict noise policy which could result in a fine.

The house is really nice located in the Village North within 15 minutes walk to Gondola. The private jacuzzi is the best for us after a whole day skiing with sore body! In addition, he owner is always kindly to answer our questions, thank you for offering this good place!

Montebello is the perfect location for a vacation with kids. There is easy access to Whistler village along the bike trail and it was a short walk to Nester's Market for groceries. The home itself was perfect for our family of 3 kids and their parents & grandparents. It's a beautiful home with all the amenities. The kids enjoyed the small yard and we all enjoyed the hot tub! The garage was an added bonus for storing bikes, beach gear, stroller, and other 'dirty' stuff. We hope to return!

The condo is exactly as pictured. We loved it, perfect for 3 couples! It was great to have 3 full baths so no waiting for someone to get out of the shower. Excellent view of the mountain from the hot tub or sitting at the dining room table. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, plates, and glasses we needed. It's about a 10 minute walk to the village so no need to drive and pay for parking. We would recommend this condo to anyone!

The condo has a great view of the mountains. It is in easy walking distance of the Village and is right on the Trail system making bike riding very easy, It is well appointed and comfortable, my wife and son really enjoyed the hot tub. The only negative was that all the patio furniture in the condos are the same, probably a rule and although fine for having breakfast on, if you just want to sit outside in the sun and read or have a snooze it is wholly unsuited, We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Would recommend staying to anyone considering a visit to Whistler. Owner was very helpful and unit was one of the cleanest we have stayed in. Can't beat staying at the Montebello units for a place next to the village, but far away enough to avoid the late night noise.

We have stayed at the Montebello many times before and always enjoy our stay in the complex. This unit was clean and suitae for the groups needs. It was also a little cheaper than other units, thats why we chose it. A short distance to the village by foot but far enough from the hustle and bustle.
