 Property Description

The entrance to this townhome is private and at street level. The front entry has a large closet and also leads into the den/family room. The large den has a SOFA BED, and boasts a 50" DVD/TV with lots of room for the kids! From the entry, a hallway leads past a bathroom and the laundry facilities, to the living room, dining room and kitchen. This area has floor to ceiling windows, with panoramic views, and a sliding door leading out onto the patio and hot tub. From the living room, with its vaulted ceiling and large fireplace, stairs lead up to the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a private ensuite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has an ensuite bathroom shared with the 3rd bedroom. In addition, the 3rd bedroom has a private deck.

Montebello is at the north end of Village North. It is conveniently located - a few minutes walk from all the Village amenities and the Free Shuttle Bus. Not only is the Valley trail just steps away, each of Whistler's 3 magnificent golf courses is just 5 minutes' drive. To use the maps, click on the map then click on the area you want to zoom in to! Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests	Payments non refundable. Refund only for dates replaced at replacement rate minus 4%.

Guest Account Termination	The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Stay Contract	Required for confirmed booking. Your signature below agreeing to the terms of use of our home constitutes your Guest Stay Contract. Please sign, date and fax back to us per the instructions below.
Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal	The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments	Failure to pay by due date will result in automatic cancellation without refund of deposit. You may rebook if space is available and no deposit will be charged.

Reservation Changes	If availablility permits and in compliance with our cancellation policy. You may lengthen your stay if space is available. To shorten your reservation, please note that your deposit is non-refundable. If the balance has been paid, it is also non-refundable. If the reservation is shortened prior to the balance of payment due date, it will be adjusted accordingly.

Guest Stay Policies

Complaints Concerning Property	Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise	Tenant will be responsible for all fines levied in event of excessive noise after 10pm. Excessive noise may be grounds for immediate eviction at option of owner/manager.
Housekeeping	Complimentary. Before arrival, after departure and complimentary every 5 days on bookings of 8 or more nights.
Liability	We are not liable for personal bodily injury in our home, while in transit to, or while on resort property.
Maintenance Emergencies	Contact name and phone number will be provided.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity	8 .
Property Damage	Damage deposit is $500.00 payable by cheque or money order. . The guest will pay for noise bylaw infraction fines and all damage incurred while staying in the property, even if the offender is being hosted by the guest.
Terms of Eviction	Owner/manager retains the right to evict. Vandalism or repeated noise bylaw infractions will result in eviction by Security.

Best lunch strategy	Try the Chick Pea. Even though it"s small, it has good food, fast and great ambiance. Right on the hill.
Best morning run and lifts	Anything on the Emerald Express chair. This is the best place for young and old to warm up muscles and joints.

Best places to ski and board with kids	The Emerald Express chair is designated Family Ski Zone.

My safety tips for drivers new to Hwy 99	Don"t rush this drive. The road is sometimes narrow, always winding and is subject to bad weather conditions. Save passing for the passing lanes. Don"t exceed the speed limit. On a beautiful day, it is breathtaking - enjoy it!!
Worst thing about the drive	In poor visibity, this road demands respect.

Getting check-in information.

How do I get check-in information?

When we receive confirmation that your balance of payment has cleared, we will send you all the details you need to check in to our home.

Checking in.

How do I check in?	Your check-in information includes the code to the keyless entry front door. You simply arrive, use the code given to you and walk in the front door. It's that easy!
What is check-in time?	Check-in time is 4:00pm.
Can I check in early?	We will try to accommodate early check-ins. Please contact us at least 7 days prior to arival with your request. It all depends on whether we are able to ensure that the house has been cleaned following the check-out of the previous guest.
Will it cost me more to check in early?	No.
Is it a problem if I arrive very late at night?	Not at all. Ours is a private home with private entrance. With a keyless entry, you simply arrive and walk in the door. No deadlines!
If I arrive early, can I drop off my baggage anyway?	Please ensure that the previous guest is not still there! You may leave bags in the front hall only, to ensure that the cleaners are able to clean the hourse fully before you move in.

Checking out.

How do I check out?	All you have to do is close the front door and turn the lock! Just make sure you leave behind, in the house, anything belonging to it, i.e: key to the hot tub, storage door opener, etc.
What is check-out time?	Check-out time is 10:00am.
Can I check out late?	Pleas request a latea check-out at least 7 days prior to arrival. We will do our best to accommodae your request.
Will it cost me more to check out late?	Only if you are checking out so late that our cleaners can't get in the same day, and we do not have another guest coming in: we will charge for an extra night. There is no extra charge for a regular late check-out.
What if I'm not ready to leave at check-out time?	This creates a problem with the cleaners trying to get in to do their job in time for the next guest to arrive. Check-out time is mandatory unless we have approved a late check-out.
What happens if I leave things behind in your home? How do I get them back?	Any of your personal effects left behind in the unit will be sent on to you, at your cost, either by regular mail or via courier at your request.

Emergencies

What if something goes wrong while I am staying in your home?	We will provide you with a 24 hour on-call, in-resort, emergency contact number. Also, in our home, you will find a full collection of all the information you could possibly want, and more.
What if the house has not been cleaned when I arrive?	We are pleased to say that this has never happened, and we doubt it will. BUT, if it does, call the emegency contact person and the situation will be remedied as quickly as possible. If the problem can't be remedied until the next day, we will certainly do our best to compensate you for the inconvenience.

Things to bring.

What should I be sure to remember to bring?	Anything of a personal nature which you just can't live without: favourite perfume, medications, etc. Other things to bring: got tub sandals, bathing suit, anything you like to wear for working out at the gym or playing tennis.
What do you have that I wouldn't expect?	Lots! An extra back pack, laundry detergent and fabric softener, bathrobes, a tea cozy, kitchen gadgets, very comfortable beds!

Hot tub.

Where is the hot tub located?	The hot tub is right outside the living room on a private patio.
How private is private?	The hot tub is for your use only. It is not shared by guests in any other unit. The same is true of the patio. However, the patio and hot tub can be seen from other units, so private does not mean "hidden".

Private Club

Your site information refers to using your membership privileges at the Whistler Racquet and Golf Resort. What is this all about?

Montebello is adjacent to this club and we are members. We extend our privilegeds to our guests. Facilities include: indoor tennis year round, outdoor tennis seasonally, an exercise gym, ourdoor pool (new summer 2001), golf booking privileges at local courses.
