Welcome to Eagle Chalet, one of the closest homes to the lifts and village on a flat easy 5 minute stroll - even quicker on skis!

Our home comprises of 3 bedrooms plus a small loft overlooking the great room which accommodates a fold away single bed.

The vaulted open plan Great Room comprises of a fully equiped kitchen, dining area and living room with a custom feature stone fireplace with gas insert.  

The floor to ceiling windows take in the spectacular views of Mt Todd and Sundance - one of the closest properties to the ski lifts - an easy flat 5 minute walk or quicker on skis down the trail!

The huge wrap around deck, with undercover  BBQ area and exterior seating, takes in the unobstructed ski hill views whilst warming up in the large 6 man private HotTub.

Property Description

Eagle Chalet is designed over 3 levels:- lower level garage & mudroom with integral entry to main level, or main floor Entry accessed from external stairs to undercover porch.

Enter the chalet via the garage to drop off your skis and boards enroute to the mud room with heated boot warmers, up the stairs to the main level.

On the main level you will find beautiful vaulted ceilings, wood accents, floor to ceiling windows taking in the stunning scenery, the great room features a custom stone floor to ceiling fireplace with gas insert, dining area and fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to make your favorite meals.  Off the rear hallway are 2 bedrooms and a family bathroom.

On the upper level you will find the master suite with a large spa like bathroom including an oversized walk in steam shower which easily accommodates 4 people.  There is also a small loft overlooking the Great Room which accommodates a single foldaway bed if needed.

Theres a huge wrap around deck to the front of the property with Hot Tub and BBQ area.

Beautiful vaulted ceilings in the Great Room and the custom stone fireplace make for an inviting relaxation space, floor to ceiling windows take in the spectacular view of Mt Todd and Sundance.  A large leather sectional sofa seats at least 6 but the massage chair might be the favorite hot seat!  A flat screen Samsung smart TV will be sure to keep guests entertained, if they can keep their eye open long enough in front of the toasty custom stone fireplace!

Dining Area

Solid wood extending dining table (9ft), large enough to seat everyone, plus extra seating at the bar/kitchen island.  Patio sliders access the covered BBQing deck and hot tub.

Garbage Pickup Sun Peaks has a garbage disposal plant in Burfield - if guests would like us to arrange disposal of their garbage during their stay we are happy to do this at a charge of $25 per black bag.

Mountain Orientation When we are in town - we are happy to help guests orientate on the mountain - take you to the best places for you expertise level. We are not guides but are happy to share our knowledge!
Organize Childminding When we are in town - we are happy to offer daytime or evening babysitting services for our guests or can arrange for professional services to be provided.

Eagle Chalet is located in the Fairways area of Sun Peaks, on Eagle Court, one of the nearest chalets to the village its a relatively flat and easy 5 minute walk to the base of the mountain. The shuttle bus stops right outside the house but walking or even skiing in to the village is just as easy.  Or walk up the back yard to the ski out trail and ski down to the Morrisey Platter button lift or to the bridge at the village base, in just minutes.  No hills to climb, no taxis or cars needed, everything is so close!

Non-Smokers Only Absolutely no smoking allowed. Guests liable for costs of special cleaning and fumigation, if housekeeping staff detect any evidence of smoking in the property.
People with Restricted Mobility We are not wheelchair accessible, however having a disabled parent we do have hand rails on stairs and removable suction grab rails in the bathroom area as well as toilet seat raiser & a shower seat both with arms!

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Arrival Days Check-in and arrival instructions will be emailed upon balance payment.
Booking & Arrival Deadline Must book and pay full balance at least 24 hours before your arrival date.
Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable. Refunds will be issued for re-booked dates at the re-booked price and are subject to a 4% cancellation fee. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.
Cancellations Made by Owners We reserve the right to cancel your booking due to a late payment or if you violate any of our published policies. All payments are non-refundable.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We are not responsible for circumstances which result in delayed arrivals. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Check-in and arrival instructions will be emailed upon balance payment.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Identification Documents We and our in-resort contacts reserve the right to ask all Guests for identification (one with photo) before or during their stay, to confirm their eligibility to book and stay in our property.
Guest Stay Contract By reserving online via your credit card, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. By clicking the AGREE button when paying online, you acknowledge that you have legally accepted, read, understood, agree with, and will comply with our publicly advertised policies (including payment terms) on our web site.
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Failure to pay by the due dates will result in automatic cancellation without a deposit refund. Guests can re-book dates if they are still available; deposit will not be re-charged.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. Reservation Changes Please contact us if you need to lengthen or shorten your reservation, and we will do what we can to accommodate. Changes are not guaranteed, and refunds may be treated in accordance with our cancellation policy.

Guest Stay Policies

Amenity Terms of Use Please respect all private and common amenities of the property. Damage or excessive cleaning to any amenity will be charged to the Guest responsible.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise Please respect quiet times 11pm to 8am. Excessive noise and any partying late into the night is a breach of the booking terms and will result in eviction from the property - no refunds will be issued.
Housekeeping Provided before arrival and after departure. Additional housekeeping may be available on request at your expense - mid stay cleans are $140 plus GST.
Liability No Liability is assumed for loss of property or injury sustained on our premises
Maintenance Emergencies Emergency contacts provided upon balance payment.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 8 guests with full linens provided, 2 guests on sofas must provide their own sleeping bags
Property Damage Any damage sustained to the property and its furnishings are chargeable to the guests responsible.
Rental Accommodation Zoning We are zoned for nightly rentals.
Terms of Eviction Will be evicted for excessive noise, common or private property damage or threat of damage, disturbing the peace, excess of maximum sleeping capacity, or violation of any of our policies. You will not receive a refund!

We are Haydn & Sara, we owned a vacation rental condo in Whistler for over 10yrs, but since our children have grown up and left home, family time has become all the more important to us.  So, to accommodate our growing family - we are now grandparents - we chose Eagle Chalet as our new vacation property ensuring we have the space for family and friends to come make more memories in a spectacular comfortable setting, whist enjoying the snow sports we love so much.  We are excited to share our new home with other families and their friends, Enjoy!
