Welcome to our comfortable yet cozy two bedroom rustic retreat located in The Gables - the best location in Whistler.  Our home sleeps five people and has a wonderful open design.

Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable. If we are able to replace cancelled booked dates we will issue a refund at the rebooked price minus 4% processing fees. Guest Stay Policies

If any charges need to be charged back to the guests (for example but not limited to damage, missing items and repairs) the guests will incur the cost of these fees along with a 5% additional fee for running the guests credit card.  The 5% is exactly what is charged by the management company so there is no mark up.

Maximum Sleeping Capacity Five occupants only. Exceeding maximum will result in eviction.
Housekeeping For stays longer than 8 nights, mid-stay cleanings are provided on the 4th day. Additional cleanings can be provided at occupants cost. Be mindful of the housekeeping schedule for mid-stay cleanings and departure cleaning. If they have to reschedule/return there will be a $50 return cleaning fee.
Excessive Noise Quiet hours are from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am per strata bylaws. Fines responsible to guests may be incurred.
Garbage Removal Please remove any garbage at the end of your stay to the bins located in the parking lot.
Parking & Ticketing Guests assumes all responsibility for any parking violation fees or towing incurred as well as replacement costs for parking pass or garage key not returned at end of stay. REPLACEMENT COST IS $100 PER MISSING ITEM (PASS OR KEY).
Bike Storage The secured underground parking includes a storage locker that is available for bike (or any other item) storage. A tarp is provided in the locker to cover your items if needed. A storage locker key is provided. Bikes may never be stored inside the unit or on the balcony. Evidence of bike storage in the unit will result in charges for any necessary additional cleaning. The replacement cost for a missing storage key is $100.
Property Damage Upon check-in guest authorizes a $500 charge on their credit card as a damage deposit. Guests will pay for all damage incurred while guest is staying in the property, even if the offender is being hosted by the guest.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests may be responsible for excessive cleaning costs incurred
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Forgotten Items by Guest In addition to postage costs there is a small fee from housekeeping to mail any items.
Maintenance Emergencies There is 24 hours maintenance emergency provided. Contact information will be provided prior to your stay as well as posted in unit.
Liability We are excluded from liability for personal bodily injury in our home, while in transit to or while on resort property.
Terms of Eviction Will be evicted for smoking in unit or balcony, noise violations listed above, exceeding sleeping capacity rules, common or private property damage or threat of damage, disturbing the peace or violation of any of our policies. No refunds will be available.

We loved our stay at this condo! The location is perfect; it's quiet and a very easy walk to the base of Blackcomb, or, if you prefer the Whistler base, it is just around the corner. It is also very convenient to walk to the village, especially via Fitzsimmon's Trail, which is beautiful. The condo is nicely appointed and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with excellent appliances; lots of cooking utensils and spices. The mudroom was perfect for drying wet ski gear....there were a lot of hooks and room for 4 sets of skis. The owners are delightful to work with and most helpful. We would highly recommend this condo!

PROS: - Beautifully updated condo with everything we needed and more! - Convenient free parking for 2 cars included in the rental was ideal - Great proximity to village and all amenities - Large comfortable bed in master bedroom CONS: - 2nd bedroom didn't have a closet or dresser - Bathtub raised too high, difficulty getting in an out

Other than the beds unmade, we left the unit in the same condition as we found it. All dishes, all garbage, all recycling, tables, furniture were cleaned and back in place. Unfortunately the other couple who stayed with us were uncertain of the check out time and were still in the unit when the cleaners arrived. Understanding that the unit needed to be prepared for the arrival of new guests, they told cleaners they were welcome to come in and start cleaning the upstairs and that they were on their way out in 5 minutes. They mentioned that the male cleaner was extremely rude to them. This was disappointing to hear and also to be charged $25.00 extra for being in the room, by the front desk. Nevertheless, we truly enjoyed our stay in Whistler and would consider returning. Although we suggest that a reminder of the check-out time be mentioned upon check-in by the front desk staff. It should also be noted on the list of instructions provided by the owner as well as posted on the door inside the unit so that it is clear to all guests staying in the unit. This was our first ski trip with our two kids, aged 6 and 8 and our first visit to Whistler and we could not have wished for a better place to stay. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, very clean and just warm and cozy - it was like coming home every day after a long day of skiing. We particularly loved the mud room (which dried our ski stuff in no time) and the fireplace. Laura was great to deal with and even allowed us a late check-out, and their housekeeping people and the people at reception were also very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, really close to everything but at the same time secluded in this little forest. We definitely did not need a car or even a taxi to take us anywhere. One tip for other Whistler newbies with kids: we rented our ski gear from one of the shops at the Whistler base and stored it there overnight, which was fine but next time I would rent and store at the Blackcomb base as it's literally a two minute walk and a little less busy. We absolutely loved our stay -highly recommend!

This location was good for getting to both the Whistler Village and Blackcomb Resort. There is both underground and surface parking available for this unit, but only one parking pass. I would recommend something smaller than a truck if you want to use the underground stall. Parking height is 6'6" and I was able to bring in a stock 2010 Ram 1500, but the parking garage is tight and not made for trucks. We were there in the summer and it was HOT. There is no air conditioning in the unit, so be warned, the loft main bedroom is VERY warm.

Apart from that the unit was great we had no other complaints. The unit was pleasant and as described. We would probably stay there again.

We stayed in Whistler for an extended weekend with my son. The condo was wonderful with a fully stocked kitchen and lots of room to relax in. The location is tucked away between the Whistler and Blackcomb villages which are both just a few minutes walk away. As a result the condo is very quiet and peaceful and still close enough to all that Whistler has to offer. I'd highly recommend this condo for your stay in Whistler.

Before the holiday, Laura provided detailed and relevant information about the condo, facilities and local area, and assisted with recommendations for shopping and dining which was very helpful. All correspondence was quickly replied to, which reassured us in our choice of accommodation. We were a family of five adults who filled the accommodation but still found it to be acceptable for our needs. Additional seating was provided to increase soft seating to four, so probably needs another seat.

The accommodation is ideally located, close to both sets of lifts, quiet and clean. It is warmly decorated and provided a cosy retreat. The ski storage/drying area proved very useful and is a must for any skiing/biking holiday. The facilities are great, and ideal for family meals/time together. Laura phoned soon after arrival to make sure everything was OK, you get the impression she really cares and will go out of her way to ensure you have a great time. We certainly did !

Tip -- we saw quite a few cars being towed away so ensure your car pass is displayed as instructed, it could spoil your trip.

We had a wonderful ski vacation staying at the Gables. It is an older property but the owners have really maintained it. It is great value for the size and location of the condo. We have small children, 3 and 6, and being within walking distance of Blackcomb base and Whistler Kids ( it is walking distance to everything actually ) helped make our vacation stress free. I highly recommend this property and we will be back!

The perfect place to stay.

The Gables has a great location. The apartment was slightly closer to Blackcomb than Whistler, but it really was just a few mins walk to each, with Blaclcomb around 150 metres away. Certainly close enough to pop back at lunch time if wanting to avoid piste-prices. That said, it was also away from the town and very peaceful with no one walking past but owners and guests. Reversing snow-ploughs and dust carts were really the only sounds to impact sleep.

The rooms were comfortable with plenty of space for normal clothes and the hall took all our ski-gear. The kitchen was well equipped and the whole place quite comfortable. 1.5 bathrooms also sped up getting ready in the morning!

If their was to be a constructive criticism, as a place sleeping up to 5, there really was only relaxed seating (one sofa) for 3. The dining area and its chairs added more, but after a day on the slopes a softer chair is appreciated. That said we, as a family of four, had no issues as my daughter tended to collapse on her bed most evenings. And, when compared to a hotel, it was great to have a family lounge area to chill in in the evenings, rather than sitting on beds.

All in all this was a lovely and and ideal apartment. We would thoroughly recommend it for location, comfort, cleanliness, and value for money.

We have stayed at the Gables on several occasions over the past five years, this unit is our favourite. This was our second time staying in this unit and will go back for sure. Laura was awesome to deal with and we felt she really cared about our stay. She asked if I had any concerns at all and asked me for suggestions on how she could make sure future guests also had a great experience in her home.

We biked the trails, walked the walks and spent time in the village, everything is very close by. You park your car and don't need it for the duration of your stay.

Great place & location

Nice condo, it is right off of Blackcomb lifts. The mattress in the loft was just a futon mattress that is on the floor, not very comfortable and you can't open the front door all of the way, there is a place to dry out shoes and ski boots that prevents the door from completely opening, other than that it is a great place to stay. Nice and quite, short walk to everything and the shuttle bus is very convenient.

Hi there, I believe you have published a review on the wrong property. We don't have a loft and our bed upstairs is a master with a high end queen mattress. Our front door opens completely too. Additionally, your name and dates of stay do not match any of my guest records. Hopefully you can remove this review and republish on the correct page. I don't want to confuse any future guests.
