This is a fully self contained 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo located on the Village Stroll but faces towards Blackcomb mountain so it is in the heart of the action during the day but peaceful and quiet at night. We are only a 6 minute walk to the gondolas & lift up both Blackcomb & Whistler Mountains. Walk out the door of Eagle Lodge to restaurants, entertainment, stores, supermarkets, theatres, ice-skating & more.  The Village Stroll is a pedestrian walkway right through the village. There is not a vehicle in sight. Secure underground parking is available. This is a premium condo in a premium location. We pride ourselves on keeping our condo in top condition and have full front desk services so our guests always have assistance if required.

 

This is an ideal family unit and is set up accordingly. It is 100 yards from the free iceskating, 200 yards to the childrens play ground, 300 yards to the supermarket and 550 yards to the gondolas up both Backcomb and Whistler.

 

Includes secure underground parking for one vehicle.

Property Description

The entrance leads past the large, fully equiped kitchen on the right and main bathroom on the left, on through the dining area that seats six with ease, and into the comfortable lounge with gas log fire and 50 inch flat screen cable TV.  The balcony leads directly off the dining area and affords great views of both mountains and the peak to peak gondola. The main windows face directly east and catch the morning sun as it rises over Blackcomb mountain. The master bedroom with new King bed is past the main bathroom and has a separate ensuite with bath. The second bedroom with two single beds is accessed from the left of the dining area. Both bedrooms have wall mounted flatscreen TVs.

The master bedroom has a new King size bed, private ensuite bathroom with bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a single bunk bed over the top and can sleep 3. Both bedrooms have TV's connected to cable. The living room has a double pull out sofa bed that can sleep 2.

Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equiped and has full size oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. There is a double sink in the large granite work top. Cooking utensils, baking trays and pots are plentiful.  Microwave, toaster and coffee maker are included. The kitchen is open plan and looks over the dining area towards the living space.

Living Area

The living area consists of a large wrap around couch which is perfect for stretching out at the end of the day. There is a large 50 inch flat screen TV and dvd player. There is a gas log fire which have a lovely ambience on a snowy winters day. The large windows wrap around the apartment on the East and South sides which allows for morning sun, especially during winter.

Dining Area

The dining area has a large table that easily seats six. The padded dining chairs are very comfortable and will keep you around the dining table long into the evening!

Amenities

The condo is fully self contained with a full kitchen with large oven and fridge, dishwaher, microwave and coffee machine. There are plenty of pots, pans and cooking utensils as we understand what its like to have too few wine glasses when friends drop in! 

The internal laundry next to the main bedroom contains a large washer and dryer. These are a essential when travelling with children or when needing to dry gloves after a day on the slopes.  

The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and contains a new King size bed. The second bedroom contains a new queen bottom/single bunk bed. Both bedrooms have flatscreen TVs with cable access.

The living room is bright and airy during the day with windows along two walls and is cozy at night. The area is well layed out with a large and very comfortable sectional sofa that easlily seats six and folds out into a double bed if required. The is a new 50 inch TV beside the fireplace.

The dining area is between the living area and kitchen and has a large dining table that easily seats six on comforatble dining chairs.

The south facing balcony catches the sun and is conviently located off the dining area. The balcony is peaceful without being isolated from the rest of the condo.

Balcony The balcony is a great place to enjoy the fresh mountain air while taking in the views of both mountains and peak to peak gondola.
Cable TV Cable TV is provided free of charge. You wont miss that all important game!
Check-In Assistance The Front Desk of Town Plaza Suites can help with any questions or issues you face during your stay. The front desk is open from 8am to 8pm in summer and 8am to midnight in winter.
Hairdryer Both bathrooms have hairdryers.
Internet Access - Wireless Internet Wireless internet access is provided free of charge. Feel free to Skype home and tell them what a fantastic vacation destination it is. Seriously, you will want to do this once you have settled in!

Shared Amenities

Fitness Facilities Level 1 of Eagle Lodge houses a gymnasium with exercise machines and free weights. It is located next to the hot tub - turn right on exiting the elevator and then take the first door on the left.
Hot Tub The common Hot Tub is located on level 1 and is a great place to relax after a day on the mountain. You can take your towel from the apartment but please remember to bring it back with you!

Services

Emergency Check-In Service The Front Desk is located in Deer Lodge (off Main St between North Face and Sutton Real Estate) and are open between 8am and 8 pm in summer and 8am and midnight in winter. Check in outside of these hours can handled by calling 604-966-0999 or 604-905-0196.

Eagle Lodge is part of the three lodge complex that comprises Town Plaza Suites. Eagle Lodge is on the East side of the Whistler Village Stroll, north of Village Gate Boulevard and south of the Whistler Olympic Plaza. It is a short walk to all of the facilities and features that Whistler has to offer. You will not need a car while you are in Whistler. Note that the Front Desk is located in Deer Lodge which is a separate building on the other side of the Village Stroll. It is a 30 yard walk between the front desk and Eagle Lodge.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable. Refunds will be issued for re-booked dates at the re-booked price and are subject to a 4% cancellation fee. Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Guest Stay Policies

Policies:
Check-In Time Check in time is 4pm. If you arrive early please check with the Front Desk as it may be possible to check in early if cleaning has been completed.
Check-Out Time Check out time is 10am. We need this time to clean the apartment and get it ready for new guests. We appreciate your understanding in this regard.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise Excessive noise is not tolerated. Complaints of excessive noise will result in immediate eviction without a refund. Please contact the Front Desk immediately if you are experience excessive noise from other units.
Housekeeping Provided before arrival and after departure. Additional housekeeping may be available on request at your expense.
Liability We do not accept any liability for accidents or loss in relation to use of the property. Use of the property indicates that you deem it to be safe and acceptable accommodation.
Maintenance Emergencies Please contact the Front Desk on 604 966 0999 if maintenance is required.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity The unit sleeps 6 people comfortably. There are no additional bedding facilities for more than this.
Property Damage We charge an upfront damage deposit of $500, however if the unit is damaged in excess of this amount we reserve the right to charge your credit card to recoup costs of repairs. We expect that you treat our home as you would treat your home.
Rental Accommodation Zoning We are zoned for nightly rentals.
Terms of Eviction Will be evicted for excessive noise, common or private property damage or threat of damage, disturbing the peace, excess of maximum sleeping capacity, or violation of any of our policies. You will not receive a refund!

About Us

I have been coming to Whistler with my family annually for the past 15 years. We have found that the combination of family friendly village with cafes, shopping, restaurants, ice-skating, movie theatres, (the list goes on) combined with the vast amount of world class skiing terrain has kept us coming back year after year. After staying in a number of apartment complexes in the Village we just could not go past Eagle Lodge, and specifically this particular unit, as the location is second to none. Misleading listing

When a listing states no damage deposit is collected in a listing it's incredibly misleading when you check in and are asked to leave one. Had I know - I would have been much more prepared but it only caused further headache for staff and myself - especially when the owner lives in Australia. How does one resolve issues if property staff can't even contact them?

Money transfer to my credit card isn't direct, so even though I could easily have made the space on my credit card, the payment wouldn't be immediate. So after much negotiating and additional service charges, I was charged on my debit, but made to wait for the refund on check out. I should have just used Airbnb.

We spent Easter in Whistler, staying in Eagle Lodge. This vacation home is lovely, airy and light, a home away from home and we would easily recommend this apartment. The second bedroom has bunk beds so for families with 2 children its fantastic. When we come back to Whistler we'll be checking availability of this place first!

This is in a great location. Across the street is el furniture ware house where the price of everything is $5. Its good food for the price. A short walk, 5 min to the ski lifts.

The bed was really comfortable. It was firm at the same time soft and comforting. When you go to Whistler to ski or ride hard, a nice place to relax and unwind at the end of the day really makes a difference. The unit has everything you need. A large bathtub, washer/dryer, big couch, big TV. The property included a nice hot tub and gym too. Some places you stay at have a not so pleasant odor or scent. That was not the case here. It was completely neutral.

This condo exceeded our expectations in regards to comfort and cleanliness. The images of the property are very accurate, however are unable to accurately show how well maintained this condo is. Its the sort of place you stay and feel like a guest of the owner and will want to take a tremendous amount of care, so you can return.

Our experience with the owner was excellent and gave us confidence and added excitement towards our holiday. Eagle Lodge is excellently located, although in the busy part of Town Plaza, the condo is on the quiet side of the building, with views across the village and up the mountain.

We loved this condo and so will you, whether lounging on the comfortable clean carpet, very comfy sofa or comfiest bed I've slept in. Your guaranteed to be well rested and relaxed for the abundance of Resort activities.

This was our first time in Whistler and we had no idea where to stay. So happy we chose this condo- amazing location and it was quiet at night. The bars are pretty packed till late, so staying in the village has the risk of a noisy night, but we slept soundly with this peaceful condo. Would def stay here again!

We stayed here in early February 2015 and it was perfect. The location is fantastic. It was like a little oasis in the centre of the action! Its so close to everything and yet the unit is beautifully quiet with a lovely outlook. I could have lay on the couch and watched the snow fall all day! (except my girlfriend would have killed me). The unit is spacious, very well appointed and has a lovely feel. It was refreshing to come back after a day on the slopes. Everything is a two minute walk away. It was the best holiday I have every had!
