Our condo is decorated in warm, welcoming colors. As it has many windows and encompasses a three-sided corner of the building it is always bright and cheerful even on cloudy days. The living room and adjacent dining area are spacious and comfortable areas for entertaining friends, watching a movie on the DVD, listening to your favorite CD, playing some of the games provided or just reading one of the novels in our 'library' and resting after a a day of activity. In the summer there is nothing better than sitting out on our deck with a glass of wine or beer watching the world going by and chidren playing on the boulders in the plaza below.

We are in the heart of the pedestrian area of Village North overlooking Whistler Town Plaza. Guests have told us we have the prime location in the Village. Walk downstairs to dinner - there are 3 excellent restaurants in the Plaza. On your way back visit Roger's Chocolates beside the entrance to Eagle Lodge and choose some of their delectable chocolates or candy. Or instead, stroll down the length of Eagle Lodge, window shopping on the way ( my favourite is the aromatherapy boutique), towards 2 significant Whistler landmarks at the other end - the Millenium Place (great live entertainment in a lovely theatre) and the first 2 pieces of public art on the Whistler Art Tour (brochure in the condo). Alternatively, you can turn left from the entrance to Eagle and continue up the Village Stroll towards the gondolas passing restaurants, coffee houses, shops and entertainment. Most guests park their car and never use it (parking in Whistler can be difficult if you do not have a reserved space)
We and our great housekeeper, are working together for your and the environment's protection. This season our cleaning and personal use products will be 'GREEN'. We are working on increasing the energy efficiency of our unit with energy efficient light bulbs and switches and water savings features. We hope to have new Energy Star appliances soon. Eagle Lodge encourages recycling.
Our condo is one of the largest in Whistler Town Plaza with many windows, unique, personal features and a wide deck from which to observe people and activities in the Plaza below and gallery seating for First Night at New Year and in the summer.

Our home is located in Whistler Village North facing SW over Whistler Town Plaza. On the map it is located between the lower corner of Main Street and Blackcomb Way. It is one building away from the pedestrian bridge over Village Gate Blvd which is the demarcation between the Main Village and Village North. The shuttles run down Blackcomb Way and Village Gate Blvd. To use the valley map, click on the map image and then click on the area you want to zoom in to! You can keep doing this to move all over the valley map. Click Reset on the window to go down to normal size.

|Our favourite season in Whistler and why.||It is hard to choose between summer and winter. We love winter for the skiing and the lights on the trees outside our windows and summer for the European atmosphere in the plaza below us and all the wonderful summer activities.|
|What makes Whistler so special and unique?||Whistler has something for everyone every season. In winter the skiing and boarding cannot be surpassed. In the other seasons there is hiking, golfing, swimming, rafting, the trapezes at the Blackcomb base - just to name a few. The shopping, restaurants and nightlife are superb as are the activities for children.|
|Best places to eat||We like to stop in Horseshoe Bay where there are several fast food restaurants and get a bit to eat before the last lap of our trip up the Sea to Sky HIghway. However, if you are stopping in Squamish for food there are several places there too.|
|Best radio station||We recommend 100.3 for as long as you can get it and then Mountain FM at 102.3 for up to date snow and road reports.|
|My safety tips for drivers new to Hwy 99||Since the Olympics the road is much improved. Listen to the road reports, keep to a safe speed regardless for how the other drivers may be driving, and carry chains in the winter and a warm blanket or two in case the road is closed for a while. Watch out for wild life.|
|Worst thing about the drive||The traffic exiting Seattle and through Vancouver. We recommend timing your trip, if possible to avoid rush hour. We also recommend the truck stop customs at the border, continuing up Hwy 15 until it intersects with Hwy 1 which will take you directly to Hwy 99 avoiding some of the traffic in Vancouver.|
|Recommended summer clothing||Plan for both hot and rainy weather. Bring some warm stuff if planning on hiking high.|
|Recommended winter clothing||We recommend everyone have a checklist for their ski gear. There is a Whistler charity store in Function Junction where one can find second hand gear at great prices. Proceeds go to Whistler charities. Even when there is great snow farther up the mountain it may be slushy or rainy in the Village. Remember to bring warm, waterproof shoes or boots.|

|How do I get the check-in info?||You will receive a check-in e-mail from Allura and also an e-mail from the Whistler Town Plaza front desk. These will tell you all you need to know and more about check-in!|
|What if I leave my package at home by mistake?||This is not a problem. Just go to the front desk in Deer Lodge and the staff will help you. You may also call me or Allura.|
|What happens if it does not arrive on time?||This is just not a problem as you will receive everything by e-mail once you have made your balance of payment.|
|How do I check-in?||This is so easy. You just arrive at the Whistler Town Plaza front desk in Deer Lodge and the staff will help you. You will receive directions ahead of time in your check-in information.|
|Can I check-in early?||Please check with us a few days before your arrival. If there is no-one leaving on your arrival day we are glad to arrange an early check-in. There is no charge for early check-in.|
|What can I do with my stuff if I arrive before 4pm and want to ski?||You may leave it at the front desk|
|Can I check-out late?||The check-out time is 10.00am. Please inquire with us a few days before your arrival if you want to check-out late. It may be possible if there is no-one else checking in the same day.|
|How do I check-out?||At the front desk|
|Do I need my own computer?||Yes. You will need to bring your lap top. We have wi fi and cable. Sometimes the cable disappears so you may want to bring your own.|
|What if something goes wrong?||We have 24 hour emergency support. Contact information is provided in your check-in e-mail and on check-in also..|
|What if the condo is not cleaned when we get there?||If it is after 4pm something likely went wrong. Contact the front desk and it will be fixed.|
|How do I get resort information?||Alluradirect.com, WhistlerBlackcomb.com, WhistlerTownPlazadirect.com, and the brochure basket in the condo. There is also the Information Centre just up the Village Stroll towards the lifts.|
|What do you have already that I may think I have to bring?||All linens and towels, bathrobes, baby equipment, hairdryers, soap, shampoo, alarm clocks, knapsack.|
|Where can I get discount lift tickets?||Buy them online at Alluradirect.com and pick them up on the way to the lifts or buy online at WhistlerTownPlazadirect.com and pick them up at the front desk on arrival. Check out specials for certain weeks throughout the season offered by Allura. If you are from Washington or BC check with whistlerblackcomb.com re an Edge card.|
|Where can I get good equipment rentals?||Order them online through Alluradirect.com. You get up to a 20% discount, FREE overnight storage, preferred customer service, and advance pick-up - avoid the lineups! You can order also through the front desk and there are many rental shops close by.|
|How do I get to the hot tub?||Take the elevator to the first floor, take door immediately on your right and then use your keycard to open the one on your left. You will be in the hot tub, exercise room and changing room area.|
|How do I get around Whistler if I do not have a car?||All amenities in Whistler Village are within walking distance. If you wish to travel to Creekside or the Recreation Centre,for example, there are the shuttle buses which you can board close to the condo. A local bus schedule is in the condo.|
|How much does it cost to ride the bus?||There is a fare free zone between Whistler Village, Village North and the Upper Village/Benchlands. Otherwise the charge is very reasonable.|

My name is Vivien and I welcome you to Whistler. We started skiing at Whistler when our children were small. We discovered it was a wonderful ski resort for family with miles of terrain to suit everybody. The children are now young adults and continue to love skiing. We have had many wonderful guests every year from all around the world and love introducing them to Whistler and helping them have a fabulous vacation. We welcome any questions or comments and hope you have a wonderful time in Whistler.
The property is very well furnished and equipped, very comfortable and the location is good. It is a 5 minute walk to the main gondolas in trainers and a few minutes longer in ski boots. There is a large number of shops, restaurants and bars within the same 5 minute walking distance. The arrangements for picking up the key, on arrival are efficient and our lift passes were also waiting for us when we checked in. On the whole this was a totally positive experience with no obvious downsides and I would have no hesitation in booking this same apartment on my next visit to Whistler. I should add that there were only three in our party and it would have been equally good for four. Personally I do like people sleeping in the living room so I would not book it for six persons.
This was our second stay at Vivian's condo. The first was 3 years ago. The condo, located overlooking the gazebo, is the ideal location for enjoying village activities and shopping. An easy walk to all parts of the main village, and a nice walk to the upper village. The condo is clean and well equipped for its visitors. The two bedrooms and baths make for a very comfortable stay for 4 or 6 people, and exceptionally roomy when there are only two! I would recommend this condo to anyone wishing to enjoy Whistler at its best.
It was more than we expected. Had never been to Whistler before. The location was perfect,close to restaurants and shops, and the condo had everything we needed, and more. We were in Whistler for a wedding, and most of our time was scheduled, so unfortunately we didn't have time to do anything. Great excuse to return. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
I can't recommend this home highly enough. It was spacious, bright, comfortable, and equipped with more than we could possibly need for our one month stay. The location was excellent-never before have I had the Vancouver Symphony playing below my balcony. We could walk everywhere and had Whistler/Blackcomb at our doorstep. The crowds were noisier on the weekends, but we closed the windows at night so it was never an issue. The only downside was the size of the bike storage room as it could get very full. If we are back in the Whistler area next summer I would love to rent this unit again.
Stayed in Whistler several times and this was my favoriate place. Great location and views of the town. Short walk to the slopes. Had everything we needed with plenty of room. Would stay again!
This place was wonderful. The space is conveniently arranged, combining both openness with privacy. The location is great - in the heart of Whistler Village, convenient to everything, with a balcony allowing you to watch the activity if you don't feel like joining in. I was able to relax with my book in the morning, later enjoy a lovely hike to a nearby lake, and finally visit a First Nations museum. Wow - relaxation, exercise and culture on a beautiful Fall day.
We had an amazing time at your condo!! Ladies getaway was so relaxing. The condo was cozy, comfortable and only minutes from everything!! You look right into the village, great people watching spot! Stayed here for the May Long weekend 2012. Was very suprised by not only the size and cleanliness, but everything that was included to make the stay as home like as possible. Location is perfect, 4 minutes from bike park/trails. Size is perfect and rates are reasonable. Only issue we had was the cleaner arrived earlier than expected so we had to rush out, but not a big deal. Also can be very loud at night but that was probably just because of the grad weekend, thats just part of living in whistler anyway. Hope the same spot is open next year.
Very convenient and cost efficient way to stay in Whistler in summer. We were day hiking in the area so it was good to have a permanent base with all amenities. If you have time to cook - good grocery stores. Excellent choice of books and Dvds in local library. Light sleepers: on weekend nights you can hear quite a few people walking thru the square. Otherwise, good privacy. Highly recommended.
The suite was exactly what we were looking for. We were 4 adults + babies and we had lots of space. Very good value. Only downside is that the suite is located right in the middle of the new village and it gets quite noisy (this can be a plus for you I guess)
We recently spent a long weekend in Whistler and this condo was perfect. The very best thing about it was the location. The only negative thing I could say is that it is very loud. But that's the trade off for the great location. When the bars close at 2am, you will hear all the people unless you bring some ear plugs. We didn't really use the kitchen when we were there but the rest of the condo was very comfortable and clean.
I spent 3 nights at this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo in Whistler Village, right in the center of the village. The condo is comfortable - nicely decorated, with everything you could think of. The furniture is comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked, and the extra touches, of tea, sugar, salt, etc. is appreciated...I would highly recommend this condo - its roomy, updated, and comfortable for a family. It's in the heart of the village, just steps from restaurants and shops. You will enjoy your time here.

This is the third time we've hired this apartment. Pretty much everything you need is supplied, and it's a short walk on level ground to the ski lifts, grocery store and restaurants. If you hire your kit you can store it at the ski lifts - no schlepping. Any issues, pick up the phone and someone will help. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry, comfy beds & bathrooms with an abundance of towels & supplies, and a communal Jacuzzi to rejuvenate tired muscles after a day's skiing. We love it! Best value at Whistler. We have an elderly dad with us, so having a lift in the building, no steps, and a nice view of the action is great. A bit noisy at night when the youth are razzling outside.
This well-furnished, clean, convenient condo was a terrific place for us to stay. I'll give it my best recommendation: I'd stay there again!
Booking in was easy as all our details were on hand at the desk. The apartment is excellent and exactly what we wanted and hoping for. Inside it had everything to make the vacation complete. Location was super also and wouldn't suprise me if it is one of the best apartments in the block. It was warm, good bathrooms, storage was sufficient and full kitchen worked a treat, longe/tv etc superb. Definitely will hope to stay there in the future and will recommend - faultless ! Thanks...
We had a wonderful stay in your Whistler Home. The location is just about the best, we loved being right in the center of the village!
It is an amazing condo: clean, perfect lay out (the two bedrooms are separate, ie not sharing walls), full kitchen with tons of utensils, location could not be better and on top of that they have baby funiture in very good shape, especially the crib and the booster seat, those were a great addition in my case coming with a one yr old. This as the only place found with baby items. I absolutely recommend this place.
Comfortable, good location, supportive staff, all facilities needed are supplied, rally feels like you're at home. Excellent in every way, but noisy at night from clubbing teens outside.

This condo is a gem!!Ive stayed there for a month in 2010 and 2 weeks 2011 and it was one of the best skiing experiences of my life. The condo is layed out perfectly with lots of space, a great kitchen and easy access to the lifts, shops and Market Square, where the liquour store is lol. nice balcony to peoplewatch or barbque, sun until 7 at night!It was clean and tidy, quiet for the most part and lots of windows. The main villiage is close by and being so central to everything is a big bonus.loved it and will probably ask to rent it again this season. Denis beaupre
The Condo was in a great location very central to everything and a short distance from the activity centres. We enjoyed our stay and the suite was great and sunny and clean.
A few friends and I decided to get away for the weekend and so this was a very last minute plan...we were very pleased with the location and the comfort this place provided...however, when we came in the temperature in the condo was extremely warm and it took a couple of hours before it was comfortable. Otherwise, no complaints!
Overall, this 2 bedroom unit was very well appointed and comfortable and the location could not have been better - we absolutely loved being in the center of Whistler Village. However, we did have some negative comments about our stay. The check-in process was not good as they did not have our reservation in the computer because it was booked 2 days prior, through another website and they had not recieved word that we were arriving. Thank goodness we had our computer printout with proof of rental and payment, but we did have to wait an extra 2 hours for the unit to be cleaned. The balcony could definitely have been cleaner, since the weather was great and we wanted to sit outside to enjoy the view and sunshine. Barbecue grill was covered in grease and was quite disgusting and we noticed old cigarette butts in a corner of the balcony. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

I found the Eagle lodge to be a great location, walking distance to everything including the lifts. The accommodation was great value for money, it was clean and overall I would recommend to others. My only complaint was the front desk people were rude and unhelpful, not that this would deter me from coming back.
