Montebello II consists of full-time residents and part-time owners, some of which occasionally rent their units to guests. In consideration of this, and Strata rules and requests, we primarily rent to adults and family units.

Suitability & Eligibility Policies

Suitable For:
Adults - Min Age to Stay: 25 All guests must be 25 years of age to reserve and stay in our property. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation upon arrival to guests who have booked over the Internet, phone, or through a third party and do not meet the minimum age requirements as stated. Children are welcome providing a parent or guardian of the children are 25 years or older and also staying in the property. We do not accept ski camps. Guests agree to supply proof of age (scan or photo capture of approved photo I. D.) of person booking and the names of all others in guest party. This information will be held by the owner and shared with the caretaker, security firm, or police only if requested. Request for this will be sent by email following booking.
Seniors Although a two-story townhouse, a bedroom (queen bed) and bathroom are on the main floor. So, no stairs need be involved.
Young Adult Groups 17-24 With Accompanying Age-Eligible Adult(s)
Not Suitable For:
Graduation & Stag/Stagette Parties This property is not available for graduation or stag/ette groups. Any such parties / groups will result in an immediate eviction.
No Smoking Inside - Smoking Outside Permitted No smoking inside the townhouse under any circumstances. Smokers smoking inside will be evicted by the security company. If you must smoke, please do so with consideration of open doors/windows in our unit as well as neighbours'.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests Deposits are non-refundable. Balance payment is refundable, less 6% transaction fees, if booking is cancelled 60 days or greater in advance. Reservations cancelled 59 days or less in advance are refunded only if we replace your booking.
Delayed Arrivals Delayed arrivals are not a problem. Refunds will not be issued for delayed arrivals.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Complete resort information, arrival /check-in instructions will be sent upon final payment.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Failure to pay by due dates will result in automatic cancellation without refund.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Guests agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of the Owner or their booking Contact without prior written consent from the Owner and/or Contact, except under force of law or for law enforcement purposes. Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Excessive cleaning costs will be the responsibility of the guest.
Excessive Noise Excessive noise is not permitted and can result in fines or eviction. There is zero tolerance for excessive noise at Montebello and any other disturbance such as vibration, smell etc.... Each incident will result in a $200 fine to the guest.
Housekeeping Complimentary: upon arrival and departure . Additional cleaning can be scheduled upon request, at additional cost.
Internet Availability & Usage WiFi
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Whistler. Renter agrees that the owner or rental agency is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, theft or loss of any personal items, in the unit or premises or nearby premises.

Property Damage Guest assumes all financial responsibility for property damage incurred by tenants or guest of tenants. By accepting our guest stay contract with online payment, you agree to pay us for all damages you may incur. A damage deposit of $1000 is charged to the guest with the balance of reservation payment, and is refunded via cheque within 2 weeks of the guest's departure, provided no damage is incurred by any member of the guests party. Damage deposit will be returned provided a satisfactory inspection report is received from housekeeping after check-out. Charges will be deducted or retained for: Any items placed by the fireplace and damaged due to the excessive heat put off from the fireplace. Any additional cleaning services required due to the condition in which the chalet is left. Any security company call made to the home during the stay. Repairing or replacing items due to negligence or accidental breakage during rental period. Any damage caused to the premises due to negligence on behalf of the renter. Replacement of any missing inventory. Smoking in unit at anytime OR for bringing a pet into the home without prior knowledge and approval. Any unnecessary service calls made to the unit at the guest request. Breaching any portion of this contract. Changing or unplugging any of the AV components, this will alter the system and require a service call. Any false information provided will result in the forfeiture of your damage deposit.

Really enjoyed the property and stay...only things we could suggest that would enhance experience is...1) BBQ Propane tanks be full - they were both empty and we did not know or find this out until going to BBQ food late one evening 2) no dish washing clothes for kitchen clean up. Other than that it was great! Want to rent again in summer. Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, January 2015. This luxury two-story Montebello townhome is spacious yet cozy and comfortable. We found the property to be clean and well-maintained. There are beds for six guests + a sofabed to sleep one more. Everybody commented that the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped with state of the art appliances, cookware and utensils....everything needed to cook a gourmet meal. The dining room table seats six. There is a bbq on the patio for grilling. We all enjoyed our apres ski soak in the private hot tub with views of Blackcomb Mountain. There is also an inviting spot by the fireplace to relax with a good book. This place comes with all the extras included: in suite laundry, ski, snowboard and bike storage in the garage and two parking spots (1 in the garage, 1 in the driveway) with additional visitor parking available.

The property is located in Village North with easy access to the heart of Whistler, yet just far enough away from the Centre to escape the noise. It is an easy 10 minute walk to Whistler Olympic Plaza or a 15 minute walk to the ski lifts in Whistler Village. We found it a little far to walk with ski/snowboard equipment, so we drove to Parking Lot 5 and took a free shuttle to the lifts.

The Owners were pleasant to deal with, prompt to respond to all of our inquiries and generally helpful in ensuring we had a wonderful experience during our visit. And our damage deposit was returned promptly after our stay. We would definitely stay again should the opportunity arise. This rental is perfect for both summer and winter vacations and we highly recommend it to others looking for a great vacation in Whistler.
