Property Description

Very spacious 1300 square foot, single floor condo plus a private balcony. You enter the unit into a contemporary tiled hallway with a closet and boot dryer.  At the end of the hall is a den with a single loft bed and desk area. Passing through the hall you enter the modern open plan kitchen and dining area, opening into the vaulted, wood floored living area with cosy gas fireplace at its focus. Floor to ceiling windows look onto Rainbow Mountain and the village. Off to the right, a carpeted corridor leads to the master bedroom and an ensuite bathroom, the spacious second bedroom and the ensuite laundry area. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen/Double bunk and is opposite the second bathroom. The secure, free parking spots have direct access to all floors of the Woodrun Lodge.

Kitchen

Completely renovated in 2012, The kitchen is bright, modern, clean and efficient. Smooth granite surfaces and a flat top electric stove make it easy to clean and organize. Fully stocked with pots and pans and all the cutlery and glassware one could need. A microwave, fridge freezer, garbage disposal device, coffee maker and dishwasher round out the appliances. It comes stocked with spices and condiments, as well as a few cookbooks. An iPod audio player/radio allows the cook to whistle while they work. Underfloor heating is a morning luxury.

Read a book from our "leave one - take one" library or watch a DVD on our flat screen HDTV. A surround stereo system with iPod connectivity fills the room with music. The deck opens off the living room and overlooks the village and mountains of Blackcomb and Whistler. Truly a million dollar view!

Dining Area

The dining area is separate but open to the kitchen and living space. There is a large wooden dining table, big enough for 8, and an adjoining breakfast bar that seats 3.  A crystal halogen chandelier provides just the right ambience for your meal - a romantic dinner for two or a family breakfast before getting onto the slopes.

Slope-side on Blackcomb mountain, the Woodrun Lodge is a perfect ski-in, ski-out location. Direct access to the slopes along a heated path from the ski locker brings you to the Wizard chair and ski school. A large year-round pool next to a huge hot tub allows guests to relax and watch while the sun goes down over the slopes. A well equipped exercise room is available for those who need more exercise than the slopes provide!

REAL SKI-IN/SKI-OUT, Woodrun 603 is slope-side luxury on Blackcomb Mountain near Merlin’s, Milestone’s Grill, The Relais Chateau and Chateau Whistler, close to the ski school and kids drop-off and a short gladed walk over our Fitzsimmon’s Creek to the village stroll. The Woodrun lodge is nestled in a fir grove and has a relaxed and quiet ambience that belies its convenient location. FROM THE AIRPORT: Leave the airport on Grant McConachie Way Follow the Highway 99 North, which becomes Granville Street Follow Granville Street north onto the Granville Street Bridge Move to the far right lane of the bridge and take the Seymour Street exit Follow Seymour Street north until Georgia Street Turn left onto Georgia Street through Stanley Park and over the Lions Gate bridge Exit the bridge following the Marine Drive West turnoff Immediately get into the far right lane on Marine Drive Take the first right onto Taylor Way Travel up the hill and turn left onto Highway 1 Follow the signs to Whistler - Highway 99 -  Whistler is well sign-posted After arriving in Whistler stay on the highway until you reach the Upper Village gate (Lorimer Road) which is the second set of lights after the Main Village Gate entrance from the highway Turn right at the Upper Village gate lights onto Lorimer Road and go straight through all the lights until you reach the end - Blackcomb Way (a T junction). DO NOT TURN LEFT AT THE FIRST SET OF LIGHTS (also Blackcomb way!). Delayed Arrivals - If you will arrive at night after the front desk closes, PLEASE NOTIFY Shirley Hill (concierge) IN ADVANCE, or as soon as you know your flight or arrival is otherwise delayed, by calling at 604-932-9893.

Minimum Age Requirement: At least two individuals in the party must be over 21 years of age. EXCEPTION: When all guests are immediate family (i.e. parent and children/nieces/nephews/siblings), one responsible adult needs to be over 25.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Policies:
Arrival Days Check-in and arrival instructions will be emailed upon balance payment.
Booking & Arrival Deadline Must book and pay full balance at least 72 hours before your arrival date.
Cancellations Made by Guests Cancel 90 days or less prior to your arrival - refund is contingent on re-rental of property, less $200 non-refundable administrative fee taken from reservation deposit.
Cancellations Made by Owners We reserve the right to cancel your booking due to a late payment or if you violate any of our published policies. All payments are non-refundable.
Courtesy Hold Reservations Not accepted. Reservations are confirmed with payment.

Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Late Reservation Payments Failure to pay by due dates will result in automatic cancellation without a deposit refund. If reservation is made less than 90 days prior to arrival: 25% deposit, balance due 45 days prior to arrival.

Property Sale All bookings will be preserved in the event of a property sale. If the booking is not preserved by the new Owners, the new Owners will be contractually bound to move your booking at their expense.
Reservation Changes If availability permits & in concordance with our cancellation policy. You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. If you would like to shorten your reservation, please note that your deposit calculated on the orignial amount is non-refundable; if you have already paid the balance, then your balance is similarly non-refundable. If you have not paid the balance,then it will be re-adjusted to reflect your shortened reservation.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests authorize a credit card charge for excessive cleaning costs.
Excessive Noise $100 Strata Bylaw for excessive noise. Triggered if Security Company called.
Garbage Removal Guests are responsible for removing garbage to the disposal area.
Housekeeping Yes. includes cleaning on arrival; cleaning after departure; complimentary midstay clean every 5th day if staying 8 days or more. Additional cleaning may be scheduled by contacting Shirley Hills at the guest's request and expense.
Internet Availability & Usage Illegal downloads forbidden. Should we receive notification that such activity has occurred, the Guest responsible will be immediately evicted and charged for damages.
Liability No. We do not assume any liability for injury or loss of personal belongings.
Locking Door Guests are required to securely lock all doors and entrances when they are not in the unit or upon departure.
Maintenance Emergencies Yes. Please call Sophie Lebel at 604-905-0500. Contact numbers will also be provided in welcome package.

Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items.
Noise Restrictions No noise after 10pm. You will be fined by security if your party and your guests disrupt other guests.
Parking & Ticketing Parking information will be provided in your check-in and arrival instructions email. We are not liable for any parking tickets or towing fees you may incur.
Property Damage We do not charge a damage deposit at time of booking. Guest assumes all financial responsibility for property damage incurred by tenants or guest of tenants. You agree to pay us for all damages, no limit.
Rental Accommodation Zoning We are zoned for nightly rentals.
Resort Information Provided in check-in and arrival instructions email, upon balance payment.
Terms of Eviction Yes. Two complaints will result in eviction by security service, and no refund will be issued. You will be evicted for excessive noise, common and private property damage, disturbing the peace overnight, or excess occupants.

Who do I call in an emergency? For 24 hour support with our unit, the Woodrun front desk and managers Sophie and Kieth Lebel are always on site. For medical emergencies call 911

Evening activities

How easy is it to get to the village? Very easy. You can walk down the hill through Blackcomb base and across Fitzsimmon's creek and it takes just 15 minutes. Or there is a free shuttle that goes from Spearhead drive (a 1 minute walk from the hotel)

Internet

Is there internet access? Yes - free wireless internet is accessible from any Mac or PC. The front desk have the username and password

We have skied Whister and Blackcomb for 20 years. We live in Seattle but call Whistler our home. Our three teenage boys grew up on the slopes and quickly outstripped our abilities! Unit 603 in the Woodrunis our home away from home and we are happy to share it with you and hope that you enjoy it as much as we do. This is truly a beautiful environment and we believe that this is some of the best skiing you can find anywhere in the world. Enjoy!
