To our luxury and comfortable vacation home. Our home is in South Point just above Happy Valley. The open floor plan gives a fantastic living space. Douglas fir flooring, maple shaker cabinetry and impressive rock floor to ceiling natural gas fireplace. Handsome and comfortable furniture are as impressive as the views from the large picture windows. Our first floor (ground level) home combines simplicity, luxury and comfort for your stay. Own transportation is not necessary as all amenities are within easy reach. We are located close to the lifts and have ski in/ski out access directly to and from our back door! That's right, SKI to the Back Door!

From the heated floors in the entrance hall you carry on past the main bathroom, laundry facilities to enter the Great Room. Large kitchen with stainless steel appliances, solid wood cabinets, granite counter tops and preparation island. The functional dining area is beside the kitchen with the luxurious and cozy living room beyond. The stone fireplace from floor to ceiling is natural gas. Large picture windows allow the sun in and views to the mountains.

 

Comfortable and sophisticated living space with quality furniture to watch the fire, TV or DVD. The Master bedroom with en-suite is off the dining area. Covered private deck with own hot tub is accessible from the living room.

Just steps to the Happy Valley Adventure Area and Lodge, the huge outdoor skating area, tube runs and x-country ski trails. A 5-minute ride up the Gondola will take you to the village centre, restaurants and Kids Centre. Ski back from the Village over the Skiers Bridge or down Gondola Way. Free on hill shuttle bus runs throughout the mountain everyday.

Arrival Days There are currently no restrictions regarding the day of guest arrival. Check-in and arrival instructions will be emailed upon balance payment.
Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable. If we can replace your booking, we will refund your money. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses.
Courtesy Hold Reservations Not accepted. Reservations are confirmed with payment.
Delayed Arrivals Sorry, No refunds.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Sent by email upon making balance of payment. Includes directions and access codes.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site

Amenity Terms of Use Please respect all private and common amenities of the property. Damage or excessive cleaning to any amenity will be charged to the Guest responsible.
Check-In Time 4:00 pm (or later). STRICTLY ENFORCED

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Standard departure cleaning is complimentary. Cleaning associated with defacing the property, or above the standard fees is considered property damage. Guests authorize a credit card charge for excessive cleaning costs.
Excessive Noise Complaints of excessive noise will result in eviction without refund!. Please be considerate of your neighbors.
Forgotten Items by Guest If found, items will be returned at the expense of the guest via Canada Post to Canadian mailing addresses. Please contact regarding return of items outside Canada.
Garbage Removal Guests are responsible for removing garbage to the disposal area.
Housekeeping Cleaning after departure is included. Guests staying 10 to 20 nights receive a complimentary change of towels and bed sheets mid way thru the stay. Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Big White Skit Resort.
Maintenance Emergencies In resort support provided. Complete emergency contacts provided for booked guests.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity people. Additional persons will result in immediate eviction
Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items.
Noise Restrictions Quiet time is 11:00pm to 7:00am. Guests may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for any damages resulting form the noise complaints. The outdoor hot tub area may be used after 11:00pm, but please engage only in quiet conversation after 11:00pm out of respect for our neighboring guests.
Property Damage Guest assumes all financial responsibility for property damage incurred by tenants or guests & authorizes up to a $1,000.00 CAD charge on their card upon departure in the event of property damage. By accepting our guest stay contract with online payment you agree to pay us for all damages that you incur. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges,lost or broken or missing common or private property items,smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.
Rental Accommodation Zoning This property is legally zoned for either short term, or long term, rental accommodation use.
Resort Information Provided in check-in and arrival instructions email, upon balance payment. Additional information provided in Guest Services Book in unit.
Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage Equipment must be stored in the secure ski locker provided. Please do not bring equipment into the suite. Damage or excessive cleaning to the property due to your equipment will result in extra charges to your credit card.
Terms of Eviction The following conditions and circumstances will result in eviction from our property: smoking, excessive noise, pets, more overnight guests than permitted by owner. You will be evicted for excessive noise, common and private property damage, disturbing the peace.

Guarantees Policies

Reservation Guarantee In the event of property sale, property damage or double booking, we will make every effort to relocate you to a comparable property at no additional expense to you. If we fail to successfully relocate you we will fully refund the remainder of your stay. Travel insurance is recommended to protect you against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation related products.
Snow Guarantee We cannot guarantee snow conditions, which are out of our control.
Weather Guarantee We cannot guarantee weather conditions, which are out of our control. Sorry, no refunds.

Overall a lovely apartment and we had a brilliant time at Big White. This was our third trip to Big White but our first stay at South Point, and while the location of this apartment is great, the size is really a bit small for 6 - although has the number of beds is probably more suited to a family of 4 or less.

Good points: lovely kitchen/great fridge, comfortable beds, great spa, ski in & out access good, wifi included, tv with cable choices.

Negatives: parking tricky & not private, limited storage for ski's/boards and equipment, limited storage for our family of 6 with bags and clothing, very small main bathroom, overlooks parking and trash garages.

We really enjoyed our stay and are thankful to the owners for their rental, but would definitely recommend to a smaller family.

We spent a week over Christmas 2015 in this beautiful condo. It really was a 'home away from home' experience and the standard of the accommodation is first class. Lots of extra touches throughout make this a great choice for families who ski/board, and the great location is truly ski in & out to the door. Thank you for a wonderful week and the excellent care by the management & house-keeping staff. We very much hope to return:-)
