This unit is a low level suite, with radiant heated floors through out which makes it very warm and comfortable.

Large TV and games area with ping pong table and table hockey. TV and games room has 60" TV with satellite TV and PVR with approx. 100 movies stored. Wireless internet is also available.

The Master bedroom has a 32" TV connected to a DVD player.

Seperate entry from street side of house, access to bbq and hot tub in back yard.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Arrival Days Check-in and arrival instructions will be emailed upon balance payment.

Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable. Refunds will be issued for re-booked dates at the re-booked price and are subject to a 4% cancellation fee. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.
Cancellations Made by Owners We reserve the right to cancel your booking due to a late payment or if you violate any of our published policies. All payments are non-refundable.
Courtesy Hold Reservations Not accepted. Reservations are confirmed with payment.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We are not responsible for circumstances which result in delayed arrivals. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Check-in and arrival instructions will be emailed upon balance payment.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Identification Documents We and our in-resort contacts reserve the right to ask all Guests for identification (one with photo) before or during their stay, to confirm their eligibility to book and stay in our property.
Guest Stay Contract By reserving online via your credit card, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests authorize a credit card charge for excessive cleaning costs.
Excessive Noise If guest causes excessive noise that causes complaints from others, and does not cease and desist when told. Guest will be forced to leave property and stay will not be refunded.
Forgotten Items by Guest Forgotten items will be sent to guest at the cost of the guest. Owner is not responsble for lost ofr stolen items.
Garbage Removal Guests are responsible for removing garbage to the disposal area.
Housekeeping Provided before arrival and after departure. Additional housekeeping may be available on request at your expense.
Internet Availability & Usage Illegal downloads forbidden. Should we receive notification that such activity has occurred, the Guest responsible will be immediately evicted and charged for damages.
Liability Owner is not liable for injurys or accidents guest may occur during the course of guests stay
Locking Door Guests are required to securely lock all doors and entrances when they are not in the unit or upon departure.

 About Us

My husband  and I were both raised in Fernie and have lived here most of our lives.

We purchased our century old home 16 years ago and since then it has been our labour of love.

5 years ago we undertook a major renovation where we lifted the home and put it on a new foundation. At that time we were able to make the home more energy efficient, so that it runs like a new home, but still has century old charm.

We are avid skiers and love all the activities that Fernie has to offer year round. We have chosen to stay in Fernie so that we can offer our children the life style we were fortunate to grow up living. ( Thanks Mom and Dad!!)

We have seen alot of changes to Fernie over the years, and feel proud to show off what was when we were kids a best kept secret.

Wonderful ski condo - comfortable & attractive space + hot tub

My husband and I stayed at the amundsen's condo with two couple friends for a great ski holiday. The condo was very comfortable, with 2 bedrooms plus space for an air mattress. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the living room was great for socializing. The condo was a short drive from Fernie alpine Resort, and the hot tub was awesome for apres ski. The amundsens were great hosts. Their rental unit is in the basement of their home, and they were more than accommodating -- from greeting us when we arrived, to inviting us to a family birthday party and hockey game, to allowing us a late check-out so as to get in extra ski time on our last day. We would definitely recommend this for a ski holiday for couples, a group of friends, or a family -- great value!
