 This 2 bedroom lofted townhouse in The Gables is in one of the most sought after locations in Whistler. It is a 2 minute walk to ALL lifts for BOTH Whistler & Blackcomb Mountains, & to the Village.

This townhouse is beautifully decorated with a real mountain cabin feeling.  It is warm and welcoming and friendly.  This is wonderful choice for one family.

Property Description

This is a 2 bedroom, 2 level townhouse located on the second and third floors of the building.  Entrance is on the second floor into a mudroom with storage for skis, coats and high end bikes.  From the foyer you enter the main living area, which contains a full kitchen, dining area and living room.  The second bedroom is located on this level.

On the second level of the townhouse is the master bedroom and bathroom.  The master bedroom looks down into the living room.  The upper level is accessed by a full size staircase.

The master bedroom is on the second floor. It is a room with a shuttered opening which overlooks the living room. There is a large closet in this room.

Location & Map


The Gables is the perfect location! Situated between the Village and Upper Village, it is 2 minutes from all skiing, the bike park, restaurants and shops.

In the winter it is a 2 minute walk to up or download all lifts on both mountains, and to all lessons, rentals and guest services, the Tube Park and night skiing.


In the summer, it is a short 2 minute ride across the road to the Bike Park.

The grocery and liquor store are a short walk into the Village.

The Gables are situated beside Fitzsimmons Creek and Park. It is quiet and private, yet convenient to everything. You can park the car and walk!

In the summer, The Gables is right on the Valley Trail, which takes you into the Village, as well as connecting onto an extensive trail system throughout Whistler. The gondola for sightseeing and the bike park are 2 minutes away. Two golf courses are within walking distance. The skateboard park is on the other side of the creek. Swimming at Lost Lake is a 15 minute walk along the Valley Trail, so there is no need to jockey for parking.

For conference goers, the Telus Whistler Conference Centre is a 5 minute walk into the Village, or the Fairmont Chateau Whistler is a 5 minute walk to the Upper Village.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests All deposits of 25% are non-refundable. All refunds are made by personal cheque. For reservations Nov 1- Apr 30: The deposit is non-refundable. If the balance is paid, the total amount is non refundable except if reservation is replaced. Refund equals value of reservation with which the cancelled booking is replaced minus 4% cancellation fee. May 1- Oct 31: If the balance is paid, refund of 50% minus 4% cancellation fee with minimum notice of cancellation 7 days prior to arrival date.
Delayed Arrivals There is no refund if your arrival is delayed at the last minute.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Emailed when balance paid.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservation Changes You may lengthen your stay at no charge. Shortening your stay is considered a partial cancellation and subject to cancellation policy above. There is no charge if you change the dates, but total nights remain the same.

Guest Stay Policies

Bike Storage Bike storage is provided in secure underground parking garage. Bikes may be stored inside the townhouse in the foyer.
Check-In Time 4:00 pm. Please request early check-in in advance.
Check-Out Time 10:00 am. Please request late check out in advance.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs If cleaning required is more than the normal 3 hours, excess costs will be charged to the guest. Includes but is not limited to any cleaning needed by restoration services, a plumber, stains, odor, smoking in the unit, or cooking. Includes any extra cleaning costs to restore the townhouse to the same condition as it was upon check in.
Excessive Noise Will not be tolerated out of courtesy to neighbours. If excessive noise is reported, after one warning the guest will be asked to leave without reimbursement.
Forgotten Items by Guest There is a $15 charge for returning forgotten items to guests. Guests are responsible for all mailing costs for forgotten items.
Housekeeping Complimentary. For reservations of 8 nights or more, full linen change and bathroom cleaned about every fifth day during your stay. The kitchen is to be maintained by the guest.
Liability We are excluded from liability for personal bodily injury in our home, while in transit to, or while on resort property.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 hour phone support.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 6 people
Property Damage Guests assume all financial responsibility for any property damage incurred by you or your guests. While no damage deposit is requested, you are financially responsible for any damage incurred by you or your guests during your stay.
Rental Accommodation Zoning Legally zoned for nightly rental.
Terms of Eviction Excessive noise, property damage, or smoking will result in eviction. No refund will be provided if you are evicted for breach of policies.

It is a very nice apartment, excellent location, excellent condition, clean, cozy. The only downside are the mattress which are very soft and uncomfortable and the acoustic, you can hear everything form even the upper room. Excellent service. It is a very niche choice!

Great location. The unit is a bit outdated especially the bathroom and a couple of the baseboard heaters were hard to locate in the rooms. I would suggest having the heat turned on in the unit prior to the renters arrival, it was a bit chilly in there.
However the wood fireplace was awesome and the price to rent this unit is very affordable.
We had a wonderful time here.

Our family of four (two kids, ages 8 & 10) stayed at the Gables 57. The location was excellent. Blackcomb Base was around a 3-5 minute walk. Whistler Base was around 5-7 minutes. (probably faster for those people without kids. :) ) The complex was quiet. The d├ęcor in the unit was excellent, with a soothing color palette and modern touches (nice stainless steel appliances, etc.) I thought the unit was well-maintained and very clean. The ground floor bedroom is quite small, but it was fine for one of our children. The other one slept on the sofa bed. Kerry was very hospitable. She gave us a call on our arrival evening. It was also convenient to have a local landline phone, so we could make phone reservations at local restaurants without having to use our cell phones (we are from the US, so would have incurred roaming charges). Keyless entry to the apartment was very convenient.

1. Good location - 5 minutes walk to the lift; 10 minutes walks to the mall(will need to walk the shortcut); 2. quiet and beautiful place - a beautiful trail and a creek are just behind the townhouse; 3. clean and spacious place; 4. good services: For two points: a. the owner emailed us that we can check in anytime and check out anytime of the dates we booked. Comparing to a hotel that you have to checked in at 4pm and leave by 11am, without saying too much, you might have already known how enjoyable we feel! b. we received at least two reminders from Kerry before the vacations. She sent us all the details we needed and allowed us to contact her any time if necessary.

Outstanding location, close walking distance to town. We stayed in the summer so didn't use the lifts but the place has all the amenities you would need. We did get up to Whistler early in the day and were allowed an early entry as there were no renters the day we arrived and likewise on our departure. We did have some car troubles that we eventually ironed out but Kerry was very accommodating and in fact gave us permission to stay as late as needed to resolve the car issue and she in turn made arrangements for cleaners to come the next morning. Great to be able to say somewhere terrific and to get a very helpful host as a bonus. Thanks Kerry, we will certainly be back.
