Salt Spring is the largest of the Gulf Islands and is an ideal get-away vacation spot. From May to October the town of Ganges hosts the famous Saturday outdoor market where you can buy arts and crafts, farm-fresh vegetables, island-made cheeses, and homemade treats. On Salt Spring you can also enjoy fishing, golfing, hiking, ocean kayaking, theater, and a brand new recreation centre. The cottage is an 8 minute drive from Ganges, the heart of Salt Spring Island, where visitors can enjoy restaurants, pubs, art galleries, and boutiques.
