The perfect solution for gatherings and groups who want close proximity to all of Red’s adventures, Olaus House is Red’s landmark property, centrally located in the base area and a very short walk to all mountain activities, lifts and restaurants.

Nearly 3000 sq ft of living space over mostly one level; Olaus House has 5 bedrooms and 10 beds, and sleeps 12-14 people very comfortably. Store your skis, gear and vehicles inside the private secure garage.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare complete meals, apres ski appys and party drinks.  A large propane barbecue is conveniently located just off the kitchen under a covered deck.

A pallet of earth tones, cozy leather sectional sofas with felt pillows and a fireplace welcomes you the living room and it’s vaulted ceiling capture the perfect view to Red. Off the living room is the deck – drenched in sunlight from morning to sunset.  Of course, the hot tub is situated as to have the best mountain view in the resort.

With other mountain accommodations clustered around Olaus House, it’s the perfect gathering place to welcome all old and newfound friends. Olaus House has been the host of family reunions, the backdrop for wedding photos, and the ideal place for men’s golf groups or ladies getaways.

 Property Description

Olaus House has a great layout.  Most of the living area is all on one level!  The master's suite is exceptional, very private with fireplace and huge bed with a dozen pillows!  There's even a private deck with fantastic view of Red and the resort.  The en suite bathroom has granite counters and a grand jacuzzi tub.  Three more bedrooms and two bathrooms are also located on the main floor.  Enjoy lazing on the leather lounging sofas while warmng up next to the open-flame fireplace with fossilized rock hearth surrounds.  Downstairs includes pool table, another seating area with TV and also a pool table!

The kitchen is well equipped, new stainless steel fridge with ice-maker, coffee maker, large BBQ. Some spices and basic cooking ingredients are stocked.

The living room has high ceilings with tall windows that captures the peak of Red Mountain.  Fireplace hearth is plant fossilized, bright room, active view.  Nice furnishings, felt pillows and access to large sunny deck.

Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Check-in and arrival instructions will be emailed upon balance payment.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Identification Documents We and our in-resort contacts reserve the right to ask all Guests for identification (one with photo) before or during their stay, to confirm their eligibility to book and stay in our property.
Guest Stay Contract By reserving online via your credit card, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. By clicking the AGREE button when paying online, you acknowledge that you have legally accepted, read, understood, agree with, and will comply with our publicly advertised policies (including payment terms) on our web site.
Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests authorize a credit card charge for excessive cleaning costs.
Excessive Noise Excessive noise can result in eviction.
Housekeeping Provided before arrival and after departure. Additional housekeeping may be available on request at your expense.
Liability Due to the nature of winter resorts, there is the risk of snow and ice around hot tubs, walkways, and the risk of snow falling from the roof. Mountain Town Properties recommends the use of extreme caution at all times. As a condition of use of the hot tub and deck the renter assumes all risk of personal injury resulting from its use. Mountain Town Properties does not accept any liability for any of these risks. The renter indemnifies and holds Mountain Town Properties, its employees, management, and officers and directors harmless should they or their guests become injured in and around the accommodations. The Guest accepts all responsibility and risk; and holds Mountain Town Properties harmless in relation to any injuries to themselves or their guests in an around the accommodations. The Guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Rental Manager and the Owner from and against any liability for personal injury or Property damage sustained by any person (including all members of the Renter’s party) as a result of any cause, unless caused by an unlawful or fraudulent act of the Rental Manager or the Owner. The Renter agrees that the Rental Manager, the Owner or their respective representatives may enter the Property during reasonable hours to clean, inspect the Property, to make such repairs, improvements or alternatives thereto, as the Rental Manager may deem appropriate. The Renter shall not assign this Agreement or sublet the Property in whole or part without written permission of the Rental Manager. The Renters accept that this agreement does not in any way constitute a residential tenancy agreement.
