Property Description


This unit is perfect for a family or for a get away without the kids.  The living room, dining room, and kitchen area is open concept with spacious 2 story vaulted ceilings. The family will have great fun with the Wii games/ PS2 and board games in the loft, while Mom and Dad enjoy a movie on the main floor.. The master bedroom features a King bed and ensuite bath and a LCD TV/DVD. The 2nd bedroom has double/single bunk beds and a LCD TV/DVD. The large 3rd bedroom is equiped with a queen sized bed. There is also a queen hide-a-bed in the loft. A steam shower finished in slate and glass is included in the 2nd bath. The private hot tub and barbecue occupy the deck. A dettached and  heated 2 car garage also comes with this beautiful chalet!

Our unit is walking distance to Happy Valley where you can enjoy ice climbing, skating, Mega Snow Coaster (tube ride), snowshoeing, snowmobile rentals,  horse drawn sleigh rides, dog sled tours, and nordic ski trails, . For apres ski,  you will find live music nightly in the Moose lounge and a very nice restaurant( Kettle Valley steakhouse and wine bar). If you wish to go to the village, you are only a 5 minute gondola ride to the village centre. This location offers the best of Happy Valley and the best of the village. If you have kids and they like free bingo and wii competitions in the evening, then this is also at Happy Valley. Of course the ski in / ski out is fantastic! Although we have a double garage, a car is not required with our location, unlike many other resorts areas on the mountain.

Cancellations Made by Guests It is our policy not to provide refunds unless you reschedule with us for a later date, or we are able to replace you with another client. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Delayed Arrivals We apologize however we will not refund for the delayed days.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information You will receive an email upon making balance of payment. This will include all instructions of the unit and access codes.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Reservation Changes We will do our best to accommodate unforeseen date changes subject to availability.

Guest Stay Policies

Check-In Time 4:00pm or later. This is required in order to have unit cleaned from prior users.
Check-Out Time 10:00 am or earlier. This is required to have the unit cleaned for the next guests.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise Please be considerate to neighbours to avoid eviction without refund.
Garbage Removal Guests are responsible for garbage removal at the time of departure. Waste disposal & Recycling containers are located on site in the parking lot.
Housekeeping Cleaning will be done after your departure. We appreciate you effort to leave the unit similar to how you found it.
Internet Availability & Usage Free WiFI is provided. The code will be send to you with your reservation confirmation.
Liability The owner is not responsible for loss or damage to property or bodily injury unless caused by the gross negligence of the owner.
Maintenance Emergencies In resort support provided. Complete emergency contacts provided for booked guests
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 8 people is the maximum capacity. More will result in conviction without refund.
Noise Restrictions Quiet time is 11:00pm to 7:00am. Guests may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for any damages resulting form the noise complaints. The outdoor hot tub area may be used after 11:00pm, but please engage only in quiet conversation after 11:00pm out of respect for our neighbours.
Property Damage Guest assumes all financial responsibility for property damage incurred by tenants or guests & authorizes up to a $1,000.00 CAD charge on their card upon departure in the event of property damage. By accepting our guest stay contract with online payment you agree to pay us for all damages that you incur. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.
Rental Accommodation Zoning This property is legally zoned for either short term, or long term, rental accommodation use.
Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage To the right of the front door is a secure ski locker for your use. The key is attached to a block of wood within the unit by the front door entrance.
Terms of Eviction The following conditions and circumstances will result in eviction from our property: smoking, excessive noise, pets, more overnight guests than permitted by owner. You will be evicted for excessive noise, common and private property damage, disturbing the peace.

How close am I to the village? It is about a a 2 minute walk to the Gondola, then a 5 minute ride. There are rarely if ever any line ups. The gondola will get you to the village faster than most of the complexes which are technically "in the village". The kids love an evening trip to the village candy store!
Within the Spy Glass complex, why is this unit superior to many of the others for rent? 1) Best building for ski in/out access 2) Top Floor and largest floor design 3) Best Equipped Kitchen 4) Highest end furniture 5) High end electronics ( ps2/wii/surround sound both in loft and mainfloor)

It is also in a perfect location - very close to the gondola that takes you to the village centre and a few steps away from the ice skating rink for evening skating. We have stayed at this condo twice now, and are now booking our third trip. The condo is very spacious, well maintained, up-to-date, bright, and has a ton of great amenities (ski locker, heated floors, hot tub, large entryway w/lots of hooks and cubbies for ski gear, etc.) that make for a really nice getaway. The high ceilings make it even more spacious, and it's nice to have extra space to spread out. Kitchen is well stocked and good for large families/groups.

We love being an easy walk or very, very short ski to the gondola, day-resort, tubing, and skating. Easy for the kids to walk out each afternoon for coffee and cocoa or run back to the condo to pick up extra gear/food/drinks to bring to the outdoor bonfires while the kids are tubing, skating, or sledding.

Karen and Brian are SUPER responsive and take great care of the place. Will definitely keep booking!

Great view of the mountains and rink. Ideal location, close to gondola, Happy Valley Lodge, and tubing. The most comfortable beds. Everything you will need provided. Best view of the fireworks. Modern furniture, TV's. Highly recommended
