Property Description

Our Townhome features 2 spacious floors of living area. The main floor comprises of an entryway off the ground floor entrance, full bathroom and open concept kitchen/living area. Sliding doors off the livingroom area leads to a private patio with hottub and BBQ.  Plenty of windows, vaulted ceilings and a southern exposure let in lots of natural light. A staircase from the living area leads to the upstairs where there are 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom features a queen bed and master bedroom en-suite bath.  The bathroom also has an alternate entry from the main hall. The 2nd bedroom features a double bed plus one single/twin bunk.

Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable, except if booking can be replaced. Reservation Changes Reservations may be changed in compliance with our cancellation policy. You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. If you would like to shorten your reservation, please note that your deposit calculated on the original amount is non-refundable; if you have already paid the balance, then your balance is similarly non-refundable. If you have not paid the balance, then it will be re-adjusted to reflect your shortened reservation.

Guest Stay Policies

Bike Storage Secured lock-up area in the building. No bikes are permitted in the suite
Check-In Time 4pm day of arrival. Early check-in may be available from time-to-time. Please check ahead of time.
Check-Out Time 10am. You will be charged $35 if our cleaners arrive and you are still in the suite. The suite must be left in reasonable condition after your stay, with any dirty dishes washed in dishwasher.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise Please refer to "Terms of Eviction".
Housekeeping Includes cleaning on arrival; cleaned after departure; every 5th day if staying 8 days or more. Additional cleaning may be scheduled at the guest's request and expense. Please contact me for details.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 hour call service. Complete emergency contacts provided for booked guests
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 7 people - excess occupants may result in eviction.
Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items as per my stated damage deposit policies.

Property Damage Guest authorizes up to a $800 CAD hold applied to their credit card upon arrival to be held in reserve and fully refunded upon room inspection during checkout clean. New to renting directly from owners

I have never rented direct from an owner before. What can I expect from renting from you? If you have never rented directly from owners before then welcome to a very easy, comfortable and (most) affordable option for lodging accommodations at Whistler. In terms of what you should expect from renting from owners directly (like us) it is simple: a great place, at a great price with great service. Our suite is fully set-up with linens, kitchen, towels etc. We have on-site support to help you in the unlikely instance you encounter any problems. In fact many do not realize this, but many of the same properties available from AlluraDirect website are provided by commercial property managers. Of course you will pay a lot more money for them.
What is included in your rental property? Our suite is fully stocked with everything you need and is ready for your visit. In terms of amenities, please refer to the amenites tab.
How can Owner Direct renter offer their place at a reduced rate compared to Hotels and commercial property managers? Dealing with owners like me removes the need to deal with "middlemen" and therefore my operating costs are lower than commerical operators. I have chosen not to use a commercial property manager as I want more control over my property. I am glad to pass along these savings to my guests. Its a Win-win situation for all of us.
What happens if I need emergency support during my stay. i.e. I lost my key. No worries, we have an emergency contact who lives in Whistler who is available 24 by 7 to attend to your needs. So if you lose you key, need more towels etc. we are only a phone call away. You are completely looked after. All this information will be provided to you upon booking and is also available in the suite's property handbook.
How do I gain access to the suite? Our suite has a coded access lock. Upon final payment, you will receive an email to advise you what numeric code combination will unlock the door. Normally we will set this code to be the last 4 digits of your telephone number.

Snow guarantee

How does your snow guarantee as mentioned on your policies page work? Whistler is blessed with having some of the largest seasonal snow falls in all of North America. To help assure you a great, worry free stay, I have created a snow guarantee. If over 65% of the lifts are closed all day due to rain or inadequate/unsafe snow conditions, I will give you a 50% refund/night for each day that the lifts remain closed. This guarantee is in effect from January 1st to March 31st.

This place was perfect for our family (2 adults and 2 young children). Checking in was easy - the directions and instructions were clearly and precise and we had no problem figuring out how to get there, how to get access, and where to park. The hot tub was great and clean, and the kitchen had all the dishes and cooking utensils needed to make basic meals, and the BBQ needed a good cleaning when we got there but that was an easy fix and it worked great.

The location was perfect: across the street from the village stroll, right by IGA so it was easy to grab groceries, and it was quiet at night! We also used the shared pool and hot tub in the complex every day we were there (including when it was raining) because our kids loved it and the private hot tub on the patio was too hot for them (not a complaint! It was perfect for adults!).

The only negatives were:

  1. The wifi intermittently didn't work, but the night before we checked out we realized it was our baby monitor interfering with it! So if you don't have a baby monitor there shouldn't be a problem ;)
  2. The bed (main bedroom) was a bit hard and I didn't sleep well because of it. My husband didn't mind it though, and slept great.
  3. The living area is a bit small, which was fine for our family but if there were more than 3 adults/teenagers staying it would be very cramped.
  4. There was no sugar (even though it's listed as one of the basics stocked in the kitchen). All good, we bought some and left it there so there will be some for the next guests :)

Overall, this was a very good value. We would recommend it and would definitely consider booking it again the next time we come to Whistler.

Condo is great, quiet, close to Whistler village (although a good 15-20 minute walk to the lifts, with ski boots, we found the shuttle across the street a bit easier.) It is a little tight for 4 grown men (as we were) but as we were two sets of brothers, sleeping in the same bed wasn't new (although tighter than we remembered as kids!) But you couldn't beat the hot tub access, and Kevin was really great about responding quickly to e-mails.

Would come back, but maybe better with a group of 3. (We decided against using the sofa-bed in the living room- so can't say if it's comfortable or not.)

Excellent Location, but disruptive Hot Tub noise

We recently returned from our stay at Glacier's Reach. There are many positives of this property but one real negative. The location of the property is excellent. It is located across the Marketplace which has a good sized super market and liquor store. There is a free shuttle bus to the slopes right across the road and the walk through the village to the slopes is only 10 minutes. The Condo itself is very comfortable with good heating and comfortable beds and fully equipped with all mod-cons.

The big let-down for us was the noise at night time. We deliberately stayed in Glacier’s Reach to be away from the main village which can be noisy at night time with apres-ski . There was no noise from people but the big problem was the Hot Tub from a neighbouring Condo. Their Hot Tub is located on the roof right above the master bedroom. As a result, there was constant noise through the night from the Hot Tub. It would be quiet for 15 minutes and then there would be a loud humming for almost 5 minutes. As a result, we had interrupted sleep every night which is far from ideal after a tiring day skiing. This was a real disappointment as it let down what was a great location and property, hence my reason for not recommending the property.

If the issue could be sorterd with the Hot Tub on the roof, it would be perfect.

Awesome location, about a 10min walk to the slopes through Whistler Village (literally across the street from the property). Kevin (host) was very responsive and answered any questions we had before and during our stay at Glacier's Reach; we arrived to Whistler earlier than expected, and Kevin was also able to accommodate our early check-in.

Heated floors were nice after a long day on the slopes, and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots/ pans and silverware needed to make a home-cooked meal. I would definitely recommend staying at this property!!

We have stayed here two years in a row now, for the Whistler 50 relay. Our kids love the hot tub and we love that it is so close to all amenities (IGA is a two minute walk across the street!). The second bedroom has been updated and now has bunk beds, which the kids loved. They want us to come up more often!

Everything is there to cook your own meals, the beds are comfortable and it is very quiet. We were surprised in the morning to see there was someone staying in the unit next door. Also the parking is very close to the suite for loading/unloading. This is definitely now our "go to" place for when we want to come stay in Whistler for a weekend getaway.

This property was wonderful and just as advertised - super clear and homey feeling!! Kevin was wonderful and totally bailed us out when we realized (at 10 pm on the drive from Vancouver to Whistler) that we didn't have the door code. He was responsive to our call and went out of his way on a Friday night to get us the code before we arrived in Whistler.

We love Glacier's Reach and it is our "go to" in Whistler for the location, amenities, and value. Only down side of this visit was the painting crew with a ladder outside our window and on our roof at 7:30 am.

The condo is in a great position close to the marketplace and is furnished nicely. The owner was very helpful, accommodating and quick to respond to questions. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The hot tub on the deck was a big hit with the kids.

We were very pleased with this rental. It was way closer to the Village than it even looked on the maps, only about a 5 minute walk to Olympic Plaza. The hot tub on the deck was awesome. The beds were comfortable. My husband was thrilled with the big tv for the hockey game. The complex was quiet but i don't think there was anyone staying at the units immediately around us. the parking was really close to the unit for loading/unloading. The owners were great at responding to questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Love the fact that we are able to bring our dog with us, we had a few questions prior to our arrival and Kevin was very prompt in replying to our emails. We stayed in Whistler during the first week of the Ski and Snowboard Festival so we were ready for some noise. We were very happy when we realized that Glaciers Reach was much quieter then the village or any hotel for that matter. The condo was great and had everything we could want or need right down to the espresso machine and hot tub. The process of booking and getting the needed info for arrival was easy and efficient. The location was great and even better were the helpfulness of the owner and property maintenence manager when one of our phones was left by accident - he worked to coordinate with the next guests who arrived to get the phone safely back - so thankful!

Fantastic homely townhouse, close to whistler Marketplace & Village. Lovely main bedroom. Second bedroom has two singles, but there is overlay in cupboard to convert to a double. Beautiful hot spa for after a day on the Mountains. Loved the heated upper bathroom floor. Really liked the photos and the inukshuik/ski, snowboard display on the upper window ledge. Kevin answered all emails quickly and booking/payment was hassle free. Detailed instructions given and also helpful information in townhouse. Great value for this area. My friends and I stayed in this condo for 3 nights and we were really satisfied. It is a 15 mins walk to the lifts and the grocery store is right across the street, very convenient! We had everything we needed and the spa was a great addition. Definitely a good deal!

By the looks of the unit it hasn't been either rented in a while or cleaned in a while. The unit was dirty in the sense of the layer of dust/dirt on top on the fridge, on the blinds and the ledge above the living room that doesn't appear to have ever been cleaned. The patio was not tidy with the chairs looking as though they were thrown in the corner. The patio chairs need to be replaced. The hot tub was great! The master bed was cheap and the linens need to be replaced terribly. The bathrooms were nice. Renting a condo at Glacier Reach can be a hit/miss as the units can be tiny with a poor layout, which was the case here.

In very close proximity to Whistler village, this clean and comfortable condo was perfect for our 7 night stay. We enjoyed the hot tub and the Xbox was a big bonus for our 8-year old. We loved the fact that we could spend all day mountain biking and easily pop back to the condo at lunch time. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Whistler.

We have stayed in hotels within Whistler Village many times over the years. However, after staying at your Glacier's Reach condo, I doubt we will ever chose to go back to a hotel. From the beginning of our search for a condo to stay in while preparing to race Ironman Canada, communication and service was spot on and made our experience as first time condo renters clear and easily navigated. Directions and instructions were thoughtful and complete, and we had no problems during our stay at all. It was fabulous to have a garage to keep our car for the duration of our stay, as the location was exceptional in being able to either walk or ride our bikes to everything we wanted. It's location next to The Market and the Whistler Olympic Plaza make it super convenient for us, especially as the hub of Ironman was within the Plaza. The condo was very well appointed and very clean, as was the hot tub and pool facilities. During our three night stay, we had no issues with any neighbors or noise and those staying around us were friendly. We really can't say enough great things about this condo, and hope to return again in the future.

We had a great time at this condo. Kevin was very responsive and easy to work with, and provided very thorough documentation on the condo and things to do in the area. The location is good -- close to the market, the bus stop (which took us to the ski lifts) and an easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants in the village. I would agree with previous comments that the condo could use a more thorough cleaning service and some maintenance: the blinds, baseboards, top of fridge, and areas next to beds were pretty dirty; the downstairs shower was full of mildew and the door was broken; the upstairs shower curtain needs to be replaced. There were some dings in the walls and you get the sense that the place could use some attention. The hot tub was clean, but was outside right near the walking path -- it felt too public to use and enjoy. Plus, it was difficult to get the top on/off the one time we tried to use it. Overall, it was a good price for our active family of four -- we were not there much, but were out on the slopes -- but I'm not sure it would be my first choice for a relaxing vacation.

In a nutshell, we loved it! The unit was a clean, bright, 2 storey unit. It's conveniently located across the road from Marketplace. 7-Eleven, IGa, Starbucks, restaurants.. you name it. Although the decors weren't ultra modern, the unit was clean and well maintained and it was well equipped(except shampoo and conditioner). The second bedroom is a little tight but we pulled apart the king size bed to use as 2 twins so that took up some space. The best feature had to be the hottub in the patio! Parking arrangement was a bit confusing for first time visitor, as there were several seperate parkades. We had to use the complex map near the public hot tub area to find out where the North Parkade was. Parking space was ample though. Kevin was very helpful and responsive throughout the whole process, from first booking to check out. Thanks Kevin! Overall a very good vacation unit, highly recommended!!

We had a great 2 day mini-vacation at this property. First off, the location is excellent, so close to everything. The unit was cozy, clean and perfect for what we were needing, plus allowed our dog to join us which was even better :) Kitchen had everything you needed, beds were comfy, all in all...wonderful When booking the property, Kevin was awesome. Incredibly quick replies to emails and great communication. We will definitely rent again! Thanks so much Kevin, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and experience.

The condo was a great place for our weekend away. It provided great accommodations that were close to everything. Walking across the street we were right in the Marketplace, then onto the Village Stroll. In the morning, there were quite a few trails to hike/walk on. the best thing of all is the jacuzzi. Love the color-changing lights. Perfect place for a great price.

The location was very good, it was very spacious. Two floors, 2 bedrooms, hot tub, 2 tv's, fully equipped kitchen and free parking. The only thing we didn't like was that our private hot tub was outside literally 1 foot from where people were walking so everyone could see us and we weren't allowed to use it after 10pm. This was annoying since it was over 30 degrees and you couldn't use it during the day and around mid night would be the best. In addition, the common pool was not too big and it was always packed with children so if you are not a family, you probably won't get a chance to go to the pool. Other than that, the owners were very very organized and the instructions for arriving, parking, and leaving were great!! I would definitely recommend it.

The process of securing the rental was easy and professional all the way through. Kevin was easy to get a hold of and responded to questions quickly. The suite was decent but does need some TLC as a few things needed fixing. The cleaning company that is used does a superficial clean and therefore a lot of things in the suite were not clean like walls, doors, picture in bathroom had many toothpaste sprays on it accumalted over time, barbecue dirty, toilet bowls under ridge were black from hard water build up. Get the proper clean team in and this would be a super place in both summer and winter. Kevin offered a discount for future stays which I appreciated. Location was perfect as it was quiet, close to the village but away from the bustle. The hot tub on the deck was really nice to have.

We stayed for 4 nights at the condo. It was just great. We were a two minute walk to the village where everything you could possibly want is there. We were surprised at how close we were to everything yet it was so quiet and relaxing at the condo. There were many walking and hiking trails just minutes away, and having the year round heated pool was awesome. Hot tub and sauna great too! It was snowing one day but it didn't stop the kids and us from jumping in the warm pool. All I would change is put a more comfortable couch in the living room that was a bit bigger as it was not very comfortable. We would definitely book again as it was just perfect for our family! Great place, and lots of space for four!

We had a great time. Perfet for 2 couples! Hot tub was great very clean and new. The one thing that I would like to see changed is the shower curtain and to scrub around the jets in the upstairs bathroom. Other then that we had a lot of fun and will be back again!!!

The accomodations were wonderful. We had everything we needed for a great ski holiday. Access to lifts was easy with the Market Place Shuttle, even though it wasn't exactly ski in/out. This is our third time staying in this complex. This was one of the nicer suites. The bedrooms are very large and on a separate floor which was nice. Unfortunately, there is no view from the hot tub - it's on the ground floor right beside the main walkway, so not too private. But on the whole it is a nice suite and priced right.

Kevin's retreat is spotless clean, cozy & has a professional equipped kitchen though it's a bit small. Hot tub is also the most clean I have seen among all the rentals in Whistler. Kevin is super quick in response to question & check-in info is fab! Great value for people looking for pet friendly places.

Our family (my husband and I and our 2 daughters 7 and 4 years old) just got back from a lovely relaxing stay at Kevin LeBlanc's home at Glacier's Reach. The home was very clean and the new private hot tub on the deck was a plus! Their unit was across from the pool which was perfect when you have little ones. Would definitely stay there again!

This was a great place to stay! Very comfortable and spacious rooms, and the sofa bed was bigger than average. Very clean house with everything you need ready to go. Laundry machines made it very easy to stay here for more than just a couple of days and the hot tub was a great bonus! Location is great because its within walking distance of the village but far enough to stay away from the noise of the late partyers.

The condo was great and very close to shopping, good food and adventure. We enjoyed our stay. There was only a few set backs. We had a hard time getting into the condo because we had the wrong code, but the owner was quick to response to our call and remedey the situation. The condo was fairly clean but could of been vacummed better.

The unit was very nice and definitely comparable to other units in Whistler. For the price we got, it was a great deal. The only issues were that it was a bit of a walk from the lifts (approx. 15min), which, with full gear in full sun, is pretty taxing. Also, the living room area was not as big as some other 2 bedroom units we've stayed in. That said, the private hot tub was awesome and made up for being slightly more cramped. All in all, if you're not planning on spending all of your time in the unit, it's perfect.

Excellent location, very comfortable beds, great hot tub. 5 seconds walk to public swimming pool. The only thing we would like to have seen is a couple of smaller pots in the kitchen and some Dvd's. Great TV. Definitely would recommend to friends and family.

As a family, we found the resort was a great place to be, not completely in the middle of the hub, but very close to everything. The townhouse was really nice and the set up was perfect for the 4 of us. We appreciated not to drive, to have two bathrooms and we enjoyed the hot tub and the pool: we took it all! The guide with tips and advice was super helpful for us. We would like to come back off season. Thanks.
