Welcome to Slalom Creek, the BEST ski-in/ski-out location and place to stay at the base of Red Mountain. Our modern luxury fully equiped 2 bedroom and full size sleeping den condo has all the amenities that you are looking for in a newly built craftsmen style unit. Totally self-contained with stainless steel appliances, gourmet wine cooler, granite counters, leather furniture and hardwood paneling and floor throughout. You will have your very own round hot tub on the deck and a steam shower in the master on suite.

On the same floor we have a exercise faculties, a theatre room, billiards and games room and a secured ski and snow board locker.  There are x-country and mountain bike trails that start right here at Red.  There is also a x-country club just up the highway plus numerous signed trails in the area.

Beside us you will find the main ski lodge, lift tickets, cafeteria, Rafters pub and a wonderful local restaurant.

To make your trip truly memorable check out cat skiing at Big Red Snow Cats  they have back country trips in their 12 passenger cats for all levels of skier/boarder and you can sign up and take their offices and van leaves from right next door.  You won't be disappointed.

Please note that our prices does not include charges for a $100 cleaning fee per stay and this is included as part of the damage deposit .  

A damage deposit will apply at the time of final payment and will be fully refundable less the cleaning at the end the stay upon final inspection by our on site Concierge staff person.

For the benefit of all our guest, our place is also a completely non-smoking environment and we would ask that you respect this; however in consideration of the next visitor if it has been smoked you will loose your damage deposit to allow for a deep cleaning  of the condo.

Property Description

Our condo is an open design layout.  It is has ground floor access so need to take the elevator to get outside.  There is 1250 sq. ft. of craftmen style design featuring lots of wood, two very private bedrooms and a full size den with bunk beds and adjacent bathrooms, a gourmet style kitchen with all of the modern facilities including a gas range and your own 

A breakfast island provides a wonderful setting for quick meals or a place to enjoy your favourite beverage.  You'll have lots of room for entertaining with the extra large solid wood dinning set.  The living room is furnished with a leather couch, fire place and flat screen entertainment centre.  Off of the master bedroom and grand room is the deck that leads to a your own private round hot tub that over looks the common landscape areas.

Living Area

The living room features a gas fireplace and leather couch to relax in after a day on the mountain.  The new flat screen TV with full cable stations is also hooked up to the main entertainment centre.  The living room looks out over the common landscape building so there a view that isn't obstructed by another building.  From the backdoor you'll find the patio deck with a round hot tub, just a perfect place to enjoy some quiet time and to warm up and ease those tired mussels.

Dining Area

Our grand wooden dinning table has comfortable seating for 6 or more friends along with the an adjacent island with stools you will be all set for entertaining.  The open floor plan means that you won't be left out of the conversation or miss the stories that are told around the fire.


The best way to start or finish a day is to enjoy your very own hot tub, which you will find on the covered patio deck off of the master bedroom and living room.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.

Our stay in Slalom Creek @ Red Mountain exceeded our expectations. A scenic, under 3hr drive from Spokane made our travel from NYC w/ our 7yr old daughter very manageable. We arrived to a clean unit, w/ hot tub ready after a long travel day. Our concerns of recent warm temps were quickly dissolved when it started snowing by 8am the first day on the lifts. 3 days & 16" + made for untracked & steeeeep lines down countless chute & bowls, all filled w/ trees, both spaced & tight. When you tire of that, take a quick cat ride up to Mt Kircup. Its cheap & beats the 20min hike to some more of previously mentioned terrain. What more could you ask for when planning a vacation months in advance. The easiest ski in/out we've ever experienced @ a resort this size. It made for easy BR breaks or gear adjustments when the snow was a bit wet & heavy. Well equipped w/ washer/dryer and did I mention the hot tub? Used regularly to start/end the day or anytime in between. A 2hr drive to soak in Ainsworth Hot Spring is well worth it, and we hear Whitewater is a great mountain, but we stuck to Red. Never leave snow to go find it elsewhere! Modern kitchen & comfy beds kept us well fed & rested for 5 days of hard riding/skiing. Our daughter loves Red Mt & excelled beyond our believes in ski school. She logged more hrs on the mountain than anyone & had enough energy to take us for runs after we picked her up. If you haven't already, check out BC's Powder Highway & if you stop @ Red you can't find better accomidations. We'd gladly return.

Fantastic location right almost right at the base of the chairlift. The apartment was clean, the kitchen had a good amount of utensils, the washer and dryer were great, and the heating was efficient and comfortable. We loved the steam shower and the hot tub. The indoor carparking was great too. There only negative we found was that although the beds were lovely and warm we found both the doubles had 'roll-together' which meant we didn't sleep as well as we should have. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

We had a perfect stay at this Red Mountain condo. It was even more ski-in/ski-out than i had hoped. You can ski to the backdoor of the building and then it's only 20-30 steps to this particular condo. Leaving we'd hike up a 20 foot hill and ski down to the lift. So I'd say 30 seconds to ski-in and 2 mins to ski-out. Sooooo convenient. We loved having a private hot tub and the unit had comfortable bedding and family room seating. This building also has a pool hall and a small fitness center which we happily used. Highly recommend this great condo.

This was my second time to Red Mountain and it was TOP SHELF in all aspect of the trip. The accommodations were excellent. Everything that was promised and more. The friendliness and attentiveness of the Condo owner was over the top. I would have to say it was one of the best experiences I've had staying somewhere away from home.

I travel a fair bit for both work and leisure so have a pretty good handle on bad, good, and excellent, this place was excellent. I would go back to this place in a heartbeat and God willing I will.

Couldn't ask for a better location or condo, even better than the photos. Great layout with 2BR one side, master on the other, an entry made for skiers (with bench and loads of cubbies) and very workable kitchen. In-unit dryer and boot dryer were handy for our wet clothing and equipment. We found many staples were supplied, including seasonings, oil, some condiments, tea/coffee, laundry/dish detergent and paper products... as well as a good selection of movie and music DVDs and books... really felt like home! We made good use of the hot tub and steam shower, and the recreation room across the hallway was great for a few rounds of pool. Instructions for arrival, parking, use of media etc were excellent.

This is the second time we have stayed here so it must be good. The condo is just across the hall from the ski lockers which is very convienent and means you dont have to walk to far when your legs are done after a hard day on the hill. The kitchen is well stocked we didnt even need to buy flour or oil for cooking!! The condo is very handy to the hill and town. Rossland is a super cute ski town with a great supermarket. The new runs off Grey Mountain add heaps of new intermediate terrain which suits a lot of families. Thanks Ross for sharing your lovely property with us.
