Property description

Welcome  to Whistler Resort, world-renowned and home to the 2010 Winter Olympics.  Rated by Ski Magazine as the No. 1 destination resort for skiing and mountain biking, as well as numerous other outdoor activities, we invite you to come and enjoy.

Our warm and cozy corner unit, on the ground level in Wildwood Lodge, is located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain. This location provides easy access to all summer and winter activities.

Our 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom unit is fresh and inviting, having just completed professionally designed renovations.  All the cabinets and drawers are self-closing in the kitchen and bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a slow cooker, popcorn maker, pizza trays, etc., to provide you with a choice of easy meal and snack cooking apparatus.  In addition, the unit has heated floors, fireplace, a Hi-def Smart TV, and free wireless high speed internet.

A private and spacious outdoor patio off the living room provides a summer green space for dining and an area for children to play.  In the winter it becomes a children’s play-land.  An electric barbeque is provided year round and a dining set in the summer.

Wildwood Lodge has a large heated pool(seasonal) and the largest, year round hot tub on the Benchlands.  Free underground parking is provided, as well as locked storage for skis and bikes. 

The free shuttle bus stop is outside the main entrance, and the bus takes you to the base of both mountains, the village and Lost Lake in the summer. The valley trail runs behind the unit providing easy access for walking and biking, and the ski-in/ski-out trail is accessed across the road from the lodge. The condo is a ten minute walk to the shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues, as well as to Lost Lake.

Wildwood Lodge is located on the Blackcomb Mountain Benchlands above the village. For skiing you simply walk across the road put your ski's on and down a short trail right out onto the hill. In the afternoon you must come off the hill slightly higher than the condo complex and a short 5 minute walk in your boots will have you sitting by the fire in no time. You can also take the free village shuttle to the lifts which stops right at the driveway to the condo.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests Deposit payment non refundable. Balance payment is refundable, less 4% transaction fee's if cancelled 30 days or greater of booking. If less than 30 days notice balance will be refunded providing we are able to replace your booking.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds given for late arrivals.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Provided by email upon final payment of booking.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Failure to pay by due dates will result in automatic cancellation of booking and loss of first deposit. Guests can re-book dates if they are still available; deposit will not be re-charged
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. Guest Stay Policies

Bike Storage No bikes permitted inside the unit or on the decks, A locked storage room with racks is avaliable on the main floor. Please ask us about alternative on mountain secure storage.
Check-In Time 4:00 PM.
Check-Out Time 10:00 AM.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Any cleaning costs not considered normal will be assessed a $75 cleaning charge, This will be increased to $200.00 for smoking in the unit.
Excessive Noise Occupants may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for damages resulting from the noise complaints. Please respect the privacy and enjoyment of other quests in the building. Excessive noise will not be tolerated.
Garbage Removal Please assist our housekeeping staff by removing your garbage to the garbage room located in the parking garage.
Housekeeping Includes clean on arrival; cleaned after departure; and mid stay clean on bookings of 7 days or more. Additional cleaning may be scheduled at the guest's request and expense
Internet Availability & Usage Free wireless internet.
Liability Guest Responsibility. Owner will not be held responsible for any accident or injury while in said premises
Maintenance Emergencies Please contact your rental accommodation manager.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 5. Strictly enforced
Noise Restrictions 10pm-8am. Please respect the privacy and enjoyment of other quests in the building. Excessive noise will not be tolerated.
Parking & Ticketing Parking is free of charge.
Property Damage Guest authorizes up to a $500.00 CAD charge on their card upon departure in the event of property damage. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints,common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior whilein the property or on common premises.

Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage Please store ski's and snowboards in Secure room provided. Locks will be provided for your use while you stay with us. Please do not store equipment in condo under any circumstances. Damage from equipment storage in condo will be at guest expense to repair.
Terms of Eviction Excessive Noise or damage or smoking. Will be evicted for excessive noise, smoking, common and private property damage, disturbing the peace No refunds will be given

Lovely place for young children

The condo is a ground floor unit, surrounded by trees. Our young children loved playing in the snow around the patio. They built snowmen and snow forts until they were too cold to continue. The hot tub down the hall had them warm again in no time.

The only drawback, when you have wet snowsuits and want to go out again that day, is that there is no in-suite laundry. There is coin-operated laundry in the building.

Super location: across the street there is a trail that you can ski down. It takes you past the Fairmont Whistler, right to Blackcomb base, where they have the Magic Carpet and the Magic Chair for young beginners.

Elmer was very helpful with check-in. We look forward to coming again.

we had a great time staying at this property. they had everything we needed including cooking equipment, extra towels, nice pillows etc etc. the hot tub area is nice and big too. heated floors in the master bedroom bathroom was very luxurious.
