Quiet and Central Location
Monica from Victoria, Canada
Date: Aug-16-2016 for a stay in Aug 2016
This was our first time staying close to the village and it was pleasant and quiet. The unit is well appointed and appropriately depicted in the description and photos. Plenty of storage for personal belongings and food. The balconies/outdoor furniture are a little worn out but that is likely to be expected with the winter weather and guest traffic. The windows face a dead end street with little traffic, parking and bike/ski storage is convenient, and if you wanted to try a different grocery store Nesters is a lovely 10 minute walk along the valley trail. As other reviewers have mentioned this is very close to the village without being in the village!
Since this is a 'summer' review - note the easy access to other attractions on foot or bike (Lost Lakes, Rainbow Park, Whistler Golf Course, etc). Bring ear plugs to use the air conditioning overnight in the bedroom. The hot tub and barbecue were great perks.
For two adults we found the size perfect but recognize folks often share accommodation and there is room to do that since there is a closet on main floor where queen sofabed is. This is a very comfortable place to return to after a day playing outside or to get a quick break from the crowds during the day to recharge.View Full Review

This unit is by far the best place to stay in all of Whistler/Blackcomb. The unit was immaculately kept with nice finishes and a very comfy bed; the owner was extremely attentive and quick to respond to our requests and overall there was not a complaint to have. We will definitely be booking there again!View Full Review

Great Whistler apartment
Cheryl from Bundamba, Australia
Date: Jul-06-2016 for a stay in Jun 2016
My husband and I stayed in this apartment last year so returning this year felt like coming home. The apartment is located in the Glacier's Reach complex which is opposite the Marketplace where you will find a supermarket, chemist, post office, bottle shop and some eateries. From here, you can stroll through the Olympic Plaza and the main village.
On entering the unit, you take a set of stairs to the kitchen, living area and balcony with seating and BBQ. The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils you will need for a comfortable stay. Another set of stairs takes you to the bathroom, main bedroom and adjacent covered deck area where the hot tub is located.
The unit is very private and quiet being situated away from the main street. Marilyn is a great host being quick to respond to your emails and follow up any inquiries/requests you may have. Whistler has so much to offer with wonderful restaurants, the valley trail which offers the best tracks for walking, fantastic scenery and the majestic Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. All of this is in easy reach when you stay in this comfortable apartment.View Full Review

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. It truly feels like a home away from home. Nicely decorated, beautiful kitchen, comfortable bed and ideally located. The hot tub is a lovely extra! The only thing I would describe as constructive criticism is that I would advise the landlords to somehow have the hot tub service people touch base with the occupants prior to coming to the unit and arrange a time suitable to their schedule (if they must come into the unit.) I was startled when someone was trying to get into my unit one morning. It is slightly invasive to privacy and I have read about theft in this complex. Just a suggestion.... Otherwise, very nice! I would definitely stay here again.View Full Review

From the moment we stepped into the living area, we knew right away this would be a comfortable stay. This condo literally had very similar decor/furnishing that we had back home. We have rented condos in this complex before, but this unit was one of the nicest and cleanest.
The location of the unit is quiet, private and south facing. The hot tub was clean and well maintained and maintenance was punctual. The location of the complex is steps away from the Market and village.
The owner was very responsive and helpful, and we are looking forward to booking with her in the future. see you next year (if not sooner)
Thank you! Joe and HeleneView Full Review

Wonderful stay in whistler glacier reach
Sylvain from Repentigny, Canada
Date: Apr-09-2016 for a stay in Mar 2016
First of all, we had a wonderful time in this unit. We were 3 adults (4 during week-end). We feel however that this unit fits best for 2 persons. The unit was very clean and well equipped. Because if the limited space, there is no table for dining (there is a wide lunch counter instead for 4). This was a slight negative point for but we knew before and I guess this is a question of preference.
It was perfectly located, very close to the bus station (free shuttle to the lifts) and minutes walking to the market and BC liquor stores). This was very convenient.
The unit is on 2 levels with 2 balconies, one with a spa and the other with a BBQ. We enjoyed both during our stay. The two balconies are quite private with a lot of sun in the afternoon. It is a plus to this unit.
The space for skis, clothes, food and all usual stuff was a bit limited, especially for people sleeping in the sofa bed.
We had to communicate with the owner (Marilyn) few times during our stay and she was very responsive. We felt she did all she can to make our stay wonderful.
In conclusion, despite few things, which were not critical, We certainly recommend this unit. The cleanliness, the location, the equipment, the spa and BBQ, the washer and dryer in-house and the owner responsivity are strong positive points for this unit. We feel this is best for two people.View Full Review

Our stay was fantastic! The condo was very clean, comfortable, and the amenities and kitchen were in great shape which made us feel at home during our stay. The condo is close walking distance to the village Gondola (10 min walk) and the private hot tub was perfect after skiing all day! We would highly recommend a stay here over a hotel!View Full Review

We really enjoyed our stay at this great unit in Glacier's Reach. I've stayed in this complex before and this seems to be one of the best in the complex due to the updated finishings, location and privacy of the decks. Being close to Marketplace is great, as it's easy to pop over to the grocery or liquor store, but you are still very close to the Village.
The suite is updated quite nicely and has all the amenities you could ask for. It has been repainted and updated a little more even since the posted pictures. The furnishings and decor are modern and comfortable. The layout, with the kitchen, living room and deck on one level, and bathroom, bedroom and another deck with the hot tub on the other, gives the place a more roomy feel. Both decks face Northlands Blvd and are quite private. The large LCD TVs in the living room and TV are great for a rainy evening, as is the nice stereo in the living room.
My suggestions for improvement would be to replace the toaster as doesn't work very well. Also the bed needs replacing soon as the mattress sags on each side of the bed leaving a hump in the middle.
We would recommend this unit to friends and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.View Full Review

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for one month in August. It had everything we wanted and accurately reflected the description on the website. The configuration of kitchen and lounge on one floor and bathroom, bedroom and spa area on another was perfect. The spa was most welcome after we had walked one of the many trails that are in easy reach of the apartment.
The apartment was private, quiet and clean and being located directly opposite the Marketplace with supermarket, bottle shop, postage office and other retail outlets meant everything was in easy reach. Marilyn was prompt in responding to any emails including details regarding checkin etc.
So if you are coming to Whistler and want a great apartment, this is the place for you!View Full Review

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was very clean on arrival and just as described. It's very quiet at night and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need for self catering. The bathroom is a good size with a very good shower and plenty of storage space. The hot tub was an added bonus - it worked very well and was wonderful to relax in at the end of the day.
We spent six nights here and didn't use the car once. Everything is within walking distance. It's about a 10 minute walk to the base of Whistler Mountain and about the same to the base of Blackcomb. It's just over the road from Whister Marketplace which has a very good food store. All the shops, restaurants and bars are just a few minutes walk away.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Whistler.View Full Review

This is the first time that we've booked a condo direct with the owner, and we were a little wary, but had nothing to worry about. Emails were answered promptly. Payments we're easy to make, and check in information was clear & received in plenty of time. The location was ideal for a summer vacation in Whistler, within a 5 minute walk of the Marketplace & the village, directly on the valley trail & next door to the tennis club. The facilities in the condo were good - washer, drier, dishwasher, well equipped kitchen, barbecue and a hot tub. The condo is generally in a very good condition but is showing signs of wear with a few scuff marks here and there. The hot tub is a great addition to the property, especially at the end of a busy day of activities. The jets aren't as powerful as they once were & the hot tub cover is exceptionally heavy when removing & putting back on. Air conditioning in the bedroom was great especially as temperatures were above 30 degrees when we stayed. We had no problem with noise from other guests during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.View Full Review

This was a great rental. The owner is responsive and deals with inquiries and questions quickly. It was very hot when we stayed and a ceiling fan would have been appreciated. The BBQ is very old and difficult to light; perhaps an updated BBQ would be a nice touch for future renters. Overall we had a great stay!View Full Review
Great location, comfortable accommodation lacking a bit of care and attention.
Steve C from
Glaciers Reach is a nice apartment complex within easy walking distance of the village centre, the ski bus stops directly outside the complex. The apartment is okay with good amenities and the hot tub is a great way to relax after skiing. However it feels a bit neglected with scuffs on the walls and a dingy bathroom with a yellowish bath and dirty shower curtain. With a lick of paint and an upgrade on the bathroom it would be a truly wonderful place to stay. We loved our time in Whistler and the apartment was fine for us, but could be so much more with a bit of love and attention.
You could live here

Well located town home
Gerry from NL
Well located town home adjacent the Marketplace in the Village North. Walk across street to ski shuttle. Nice sunny exposure. Well equipped kitchen, washer-dryer,barbecue,private hot tub and parking. Main disadvantages was that it was on three level, lots of stairs and it lacked a storage area for skis and boards
Mary J from WA
This condo is updated with lots of nice touches. You go up a flight of stairs upon entry to the pretty kitchen, breakfast bar, living room (with pull out couch), fireplace and deck with BBQ. Go up another flight of stairs to the bedroom (King bed), bathroom, and private hot tub on the deck off the bedroom. The owner was very responsive. Great location too. If you are in Whistler to ski, just walk what amounts to maybe two blocks and take the free shuttle bus to the lifts. All in all, we were very pleased with this condo!
Nice, but smaller than it looked
A FlipKey verified reviewer from Montreal
Nice & clean - except for the carpets that could use a change or a clean-up. The place pretty good, but as oftwn happens, the pictures made it seems bigger/loftier than what it really is. The garage howver is a joke. If you get there with a truck or minivan and your spot is taken and/or there is someone next to you, good luck! This being said, for a young couple looking for good value, comfort & a private spa (those are rare) and a place that you can even walk to the hills if you want, this is a good place for you. It's way cheaper than a hotel, more private and close enough to the action. I would recommend it.
Great location, great home, great value, great owner
A FlipKey verified reviewer from Redmond
The townhome is beautifully updated in a modern but relaxed, comfortable style. It has outdoor decks on both the main living floor and off the bedroom on the top floor. It's well equipped and a short walk to supplies, if you're dining in. At the north end of Whistler Village so all restaurants and shops are easily walkable. Finally, there were a couple of small glitches (e.g. pilot light in fireplace not on). The owner was very responsive and made sure issues were addressed in a timely manner. Looking forward to returning!
A FlipKey verified reviewer from Vancouver
Had a great 2 night stay here at the end of august. The layout of the townhouse was really good. We've stayed at several units in this complex, and this felt very spacious for a 1 bedroom. The unit was clean and well furnished. 2 good TVs, one in the living room, one in the bedroom. I liked that there were plenty of big towels- a must with 4 people using the hottub. The hottub was on a covered veranda on the 3rd floor. Usually I'd prefer open air, but since there was a severe thunderstorm one of the nights I was glad to be able to watch the lightning without being worried. Also liked that there was a washer & dryer. This was definitely one of the better units we've stayed in at Glacier's Reach. My only quibble was that a 4pm check in and 10am check out felt a little rushed.
A FlipKey verified reviewer from Kelowna
This unit exceeded our expectations in every way. The king bed and bedding were very comfortable and the hot tub was excellent. The location is perfect as you are within minutes walking distance to the village. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and the living room space was very nicely decorated and updated. We have already booked for next year. If you rent this unit you will not be disappointed! Heather and Jay

For a Relaxing & Convenient Place to Stay...
Cathy & Jeff Brown from BC
This was our 2nd time here. Marilyn left a nice card and little gift to welcome us. So sweet! Out of the 3 places we stayed in Whistler, this is my favourite! Convenient - IGa and good places to eat within 2-3 blocks (including our favourite - The Wildwoods at the tennis club 100+ paces away). Village/Outdoor Olympic concert 'stage' about 1 block distance, yet quiet in the condo. Village Bike path close by.Although 1 blk. off hwy, rarely hear the traffic. Some mtn views. Birch trees outside look nice, and sound so relaxing blowing in the wind. This place has stairs to each level, so you are aware. In summer, the place heats up. A/C & TV in bedroom. A/C noise blocks out when you have loud neighbours (which we've rarely encountered in the 2+ weeks we've stayed there. Opening patio doors really helps cool the place, and bathroom window when possible-opens to neighbours patio so we close when there's people & when we're out. Kitchen very nice with all appliances (Marilyn even purchased a blender after we'd asked about one.:) Plenty of towels. Parking is included with fee. This place meets all our needs. l highly recommend this place & look forward to returning!

It is wonderful place very tastefully decorated. Everything one needs for either short term or long term stay is available. Good kitchen, bathroom, Laundry in the condo, good privacy and private free parking. I would highly recommend the place which is at walking distance from markets and village.
Just what we needed- great place to stay!

This was just what we needed. Clean, comfortable and with all the amenities that were important to us. Very comfortable mattress, enjoyed the hot tub, full kitchen, etc. Convenient location- walking distance to everything. Thank you to Marilyn for sharing your place with us.
Relax and enjoy beautiful Whistler from your private hot tub!

We had a lovely time at the condo. Marilyn was accommodating to my request and promptly answered all the questions I had prior to arrival. Check-in was easy (thanks, Marilyn). The place was in fairly good shape and looked exactly like the pictures. The condo size is perfect for a couple. It comes fuly stocked with many great amenities, even the bbq had propane in it. The location is just a short stroll (approx 5mins) to the main village in Whislter so it's quiet enough at night but close enough to walk to where all the venues are. We loved having the hot tub in a deck area that's nice and private (would love to use it during the winter time!). We would definitely recommend this place friends and would love to come back again in the winter to hit the slopes.
A great stay with lovely views

Condo was modern and nicely decorated with comfortabe seating inside and outside on the deck. A lovely hot tub with wonderful views. A very short walk to the market and bus stop for the free shuttle. There are 4 high chairs at the kitchen counter top as there isn't a dining table. Out side on the deck behind the hot tub and and under the bed could do with a good clean, but on the whole a enjoyable stay.

Marilyns apartment is absolutely amazing. It is well sized and the furniture and fittings are great. It is well located just a short walk from the village and there is a bus stop right out the front. We will definitely be staying here again!

Chose to stay at a condo instead of hotel that was slopeside. Having more room is such a luxury. Great open kitchen. Well equipt. Comfortable king bed. Private hot tub. Have to take shuttle to lifts but across the street from market place. If you want to be in middle of action chose somewhere else but if you want comfortable place to go home to after tough day on slopes this was great

Cleaners didn't do a very good job, food in the fridge from previous guests at check in. Someones socks left on the couch under the through pillows. No one knew we were there & the house phone rang off the hook continuesly. Finally answered it & it was the cleaners & they wanted to know if we could check out early on our last day. Totally unprofessional for the rates that are charged. I stay at rental properties all the time in Whistler & other resorts & travel for business & never experienced this before. The condo was great for a couple but would be to cramed for any larger groups.

Thanks Marilyn. Your property was fantastic for our stay in Whistler. Very well maintained and renovated. We where very thankful for our mid stay service as well. 10minute walk to the lifts or a shuttle bus was no problem. Would highly recommend this property.

We loved our time at Glacier's Reach and the hot tub was very welcome after spending all day out riding on Whistler. The townhome is well stocked with everything you need and the location is perfect - just a 2 minute walk to the supermarket and far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the village but only a short walk to the centre.

My husband and I spent 2 weeks here in Feb and were extremely happy with all aspects of this condo. Upon arrival, we were very pleased with the cleanliness, well stocked modern kitchen and bathroom, washer and dryer, comfortable king sized bed and of course, the private hot tub. We enjoyed entertaining and cooking at home, watching either of the TVs or just warming up in front of the fireplace. A short 10 mins walk to the Whistler Village and directly across from groceries/liquor/restaurants. We would absolutely recommend this condo to family and friends.
Conveniently located, very well updated interior Glacier Reach c

Checkin directions extremely well detailed and laid out all the way to the internet codes (even when you have to work on vacation) . Unit was recently updated with top of the line appliances and provided all the kitchens utensils to cook in with ease. Directly across the street from the marketplace and shuttle stop making quick grocery stops and getting to the slopes very easy. Could not have asked for anything more in a unit for the week!
Great place to stay and play even with kids!!!

Great time with family. Perfect location. Close to everything including free shuttles. Quiet and clean. Would like to have seen bathtub cleaner was not able to use it as jetted tub due to some nasty stuff running through the system. Hottub was great for after skiing and relaxing with a glass of wine. Pricing perfect. Thank you for allowing us to use your home.

We have spend a weekend with friends at Whistler and enjoyed the comfort of the apartment a lot! It only took us a couple of minutes to feel 'at home'!!! We might come back one day :-)
It was perfect!!!

My boyfriend and I went up for 2 nights and were very happy with this townhouse! I have been up to Whistler so many times and this is defiantly one of the nicest places I have stayed. It was literally across the street from the Olympic Village and just a few minutes to the heart of the village. The place itself was very nicely decorated in a contemporary style, but still very warm and cozy. The kitchen was fully equip with everything we needed and luxury appliances. I loved that the bed had the oversized pillows; two feather and two foamy, loved the feather pillows! You can tell there has been a lot of thought and care put into this place, not to mention how immaculately clean everything was. We loved this place and will not stay anywhere else in Whistler after staying here. We will be back at least twice this year! Thanks again!
Our favorite mountain home away from home once again!

This was our second visit to Marilyn's townhome and once again we were not disappointed! Booking is a breeze and since it was a holiday, she even agreed to let us in a bit early! The village was blanketed in snow so the location is ideal for easily walking in and around for food, drinks and the slopes. In our opinion there is no need to look at any other listing ever as Marilyn's will be our home away from home for many years to come!

The only thing I would recommend is have the barbaque inspected regularly as when we went to light it it almost took off my sons eyebrows with the flare up of the flame.I think it needs a good cleaning from the inside out.Everything else was great, great location to walk to the village and everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. Thank you
Wonderful views, great service

This condo was very convenient for shopping and activities in whistler; it is within walking distance of everything you will need. You can view the mountains while sitting in the hot tub! The owner is pleasant and wants to make your stay the best it can be. I would not hesitate to recommend this condo to my friends and family. Thanks for a wonderful stay in Whistler.

Great vacation at Glacier Reach

This is one of the nicer accomodations we've stayed at in Whistler. The kitchen has very modern stainless steel appliances and new countertops. The living room has a very nice flat screen LCD TV and new modern furniture. The bedroom is very nice with a flat screen LCD TV and private hot tub. We will be recommending this location to our friends.

As soon as we got to Whistler, it was amazing, it started snowing in March...When we got to the room, we were blown away at how great the room looked. It is very spacious. Clean. Had everything we needed. The queen pull out from the couch came into handy. I liked that we had our own parking space as well. The King bed upstairs was very comfortable and the jacuzzi outside the bedroom was amazing. Awesome views straight from the room and it was very warm no matter how cold it got outside. The fireplace was awesome as well. This room is located all the way on the opposite side of where everyone skis and snowboards but there is a shuttle that takes u there for free and it's a less than 10 minute walk there. It was one of the best experiences i had on a vacation and makes me want to move there =)
It was nice to stay there!

The condo was neat and clean. We loved the interior design. Our kids really enjoyed the private hot tub expecially after skiing. It made us feel comfortable and relax!
Exceptionally well renovated unit with very private hot tub
A FlipKey verified reviewer from Hong Kong
This one bed apartment totally exceeded my expectations. Glaciers Reach units in general can be dated and the private hot tubs are often adjacent to well used walkways. This unit has been renovated with great taste, and feels like a home rather than a rental unit. Moreover, the very private hot tub is next to the bedroom on the third floor and it has a great outlook. My only complaint was that it was not available for the whole of my holiday and I needed to stay in a 4* studio in a nearby lodge that was more expensive, half the size and appeared 2* by comparison. I would definitely stay there again.
