This is the first time that we've booked a condo direct with the owner, and we were a little wary, but had nothing to worry about. Emails were answered promptly. Payments we're easy to make, and check in information was clear & received in plenty of time.
The location was ideal for a summer vacation in Whistler, within a 5 minute walk of the Marketplace & the village, directly on the valley trail & next door to the tennis club.
The facilities in the condo were good - washer, drier, dishwasher, well equipped kitchen, barbecue and a hot tub.
The condo is generally in a very good condition but is showing signs of wear with a few scuff marks here and there.
The hot tub is a great addition to the property, especially at the end of a busy day of activities. The jets aren't as powerful as they once were & the hot tub cover is exceptionally heavy when removing & putting back on.
Air conditioning in the bedroom was great especially as temperatures were above 30 degrees when we stayed.
We had no problem with noise from other guests during our stay.
We would definitely stay here again.
This was a great rental. The owner is responsive and deals with inquiries and questions quickly. It was very hot when we stayed and a ceiling fan would have been appreciated. The BBQ is very old and difficult to light; perhaps an updated BBQ would be a nice touch for future renters. Overall we had a great stay!
Well located town home adjacent the Marketplace in the Village North. Walk across street to ski shuttle. Nice sunny exposure. Well equipped kitchen, washer-dryer,barbecue,private hot tub and parking. Main disadvantages was that it was on three level,lots of stairs and it lacked a storage area for skis and boards
This condo is updated with lots of nice touches. You go up a flight of stairs upon entry to the pretty kitchen, breakfast bar, living room (with pull out couch), fireplace and deck with BBQ. Go up another flight of stairs to the bedroom (King bed), bathroom, and private hot tub on the deck off the bedroom. The owner was very responsive. Great location too. If you are in Whistler to ski, just walk what amounts to maybe two blocks and take the free shuttle bus to the lifts. All in all, we were very pleased with this condo!
Nice & clean - except for the carpets that could use a change or a clean-up. The place pretty good, but as oftwn happens, the pictures made it seems bigger/loftier than what it really is. The garage howver is a joke. If you get there with a truck or minivan and your spot is taken and/or there is someone next to you, good luck! This being said, for a young couple looking for good value, comfort & a private spa (those are rare) and a place that you can even walk to the hills if you want, this is a good place for you. It's way cheaper than a hotel, more private and close enough to the action. I would recommend it.
The townhome is beautifully updated in a modern but relaxed, comfortable style. It has outdoor decks on both the main living floor and off the bedroom on the top floor. It's well equipped and a short walk to supplies, if you're dining in. At the north end of Whistler Village so all restaurants and shops are easily walkable. Finally, there were a couple of small glitches (e.g. pilot light in fireplace not on). The owner was very responsive and made sure issues were addressed in a timely manner. Looking forward to returning!
This unit exceeded our expectations in every way. The king bed and bedding were very comfortable and the hot tub was excellent. The location is perfect as you are within minutes walking distance to the village. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and the living room space was very nicely decorated and updated. We have already booked for next year. If you rent this unit you will not be disappointed! Heather and Jay
Had a great 2 night stay here at the end of august. The layout of the townhouse was really good. We've stayed at several units in this complex, and this felt very spacious for a 1 bedroom. The unit was clean and well furnished. 2 good TVs, one in the living room, one in the bedroom. I liked that there were plenty of big towels- a must with 4 people using the hottub. The hottub was on a covered veranda on the 3rd floor. Usually I'd prefer open air, but since there was a severe thunderstorm one of the nights I was glad to be able to watch the lightning without being worried. Also liked that there was a washer & dryer. This was definitely one of the better units we've stayed in at Glacier's Reach. My only quibble was that a 4pm check in and 10am check out felt a little rushed.
This was our 2nd time here. Marilyn left a nice card and little gift to welcome us. So sweet! Out of the 3 places we stayed in Whistler, this is my favourite! Convenient - IGa and good places to eat within 2-3 blocks (including our favourite - The Wildwoods at the tennis club 100+ paces away). Village/Outdoor Olympic concert 'stage' about 1 block distance, yet quiet in the condo. Village Bike path close by.Although 1 blk. off hwy, rarely hear the traffic. Some mtn views. Birch trees outside look nice, and sound so relaxing blowing in the wind. This place has stairs to each level, so you are aware. In summer, the place heats up. A/C & TV in bedroom. A/C noise blocks out when you have loud neighbours (which we've rarely encountered in the 2+ weeks we've stayed there. Opening patio doors really helps cool the place, and bathroom window when possible-opens to neighbours patio so we close when there's people & when we're out. Kitchen very nice with all appliances (Marilyn even purchased a blender after we'd asked about one.:) Plenty of towels. Parking is included with fee. This place meets all our needs. l highly recommend this place & look forward to returning!
Comfortable king size bed and sofa bed pull out with private decks and maintained private hot tub. Easy walk to everything. Modern kitchen with all utensils etc. great for a romantic getaway or small family. New Flatscreen TVs, The owner was easy to contact and very attentive to solving a minor issue. We'll rent it again in the winter !
It is wonderful place very tastefully decorated. Everything one needs for either short term or long term stay is available. Good kitchen, bathroom, Laundry in the condo, good privacy and private free parking. I would highly recommend the place which is at walking distance from markets and village.

We had a lovely time at the condo. Marilyn was accommodating to my request and promptly answered all the questions I had prior to arrival. Check-in was easy (thanks, Marilyn). The place was in fairly good shape and looked exactly like the pictures. The condo size is perfect for a couple. It comes fuly stocked with many great amenities, even the bbq had propane in it. The location is just a short stroll (approx 5mins) to the main village in Whislter so it's quiet enough at night but close enough to walk to where all the venues are. We loved having the hot tub in a deck area that's nice and private (would love to use it during the winter time!). We would definitely recommend this place friends and would love to come back again in the winter to hit the slopes.
Condo was modern and nicely decorated with comfortabe seating inside and outside on the deck. A lovely hot tub with wonderful views. A very short walk to the market and bus stop for the free shuttle. There are 4 high chairs at the kitchen counter top as there isn't a dining table. Out side on the deck behind the hot tub and and under the bed could do with a good clean, but on the whole a enjoyable stay.
Marilyns apartment is absolutely amazing. It is well sized and the furniture and fittings are great. It is well located just a short walk from the village and there is a bus stop right out the front. We will definitely be staying here again!
Chose to stay at a condo instead of hotel that was slopeside. Having more room is such a luxury. Great open kitchen. Well equipt. Comfortable king bed. Private hot tub. Have to take shuttle to lifts but across the street from market place. If you want to be in middle of action chose somewhere else but if you want comfortable place to go home to after tough day on slopes this was great
Cleaners didn't do a very good job, food in the fridge from previous guests at check in. Someones socks left on the couch under the through pillows. No one knew we were there & the house phone rang off the hook continuesly. Finally answered it & it was the cleaners & they wanted to know if we could check out early on our last day. Totally unprofessional for the rates that are charged. I stay at rental properties all the time in Whistler & other resorts & travel for business & never experienced this before. The condo was great for a couple but would be to cramed for any larger groups.

We loved our time at Glacier's Reach and the hot tub was very welcome after spending all day out riding on Whistler. The townhome is well stocked with everything you need and the location is perfect - just a 2 minute walk to the supermarket and far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the village but only a short walk to the centre.
My husband and I spent 2 weeks here in Feb and were extremely happy with all aspects of this condo. Upon arrival, we were very pleased with the cleanliness, well stocked modern kitchen and bathroom, washer and dryer, comfortable king sized bed and of course, the private hot tub. We enjoyed entertaining and cooking at home, watching either of the TVs or just warming up in front of the fireplace. A short 10 mins walk to the Whistler Village and directly across from groceries/liquor/restaurants. We would absolutely recommend this condo to family and friends.
Checkin directions extremely well detailed and laid out all the way to the internet codes (even when you have to work on vacation) . Unit was recently updated with top of the line appliances and provided all the kitchens utensils to cook in with ease. Directly across the street from the marketplace and shuttle stop making quick grocery stops and getting to the slopes very easy. Could not have asked for anything more in a unit for the week!
Great time with family. Perfect location. Close to everything including free shuttles. Quiet and clean. Would like to have seen bathtub cleaner was not able to use it as jetted tub due to some nasty stuff running through the system. Hottub was great for after skiing and relaxing with a glass of wine. We have spend a weekend with friends at Whistler and enjoyed the comfort of the apartment a lot! It only took us a couple of minutes to feel 'at home'!!! We might come back one day :-)
My boyfriend and I went up for 2 nights and were very happy with this townhouse! I have been up to Whistler so many times and this is defiantly one of the nicest places I have stayed. It was literally across the street from the Olympic Village and just a few minutes to the heart of the village. The place itself was very nicely decorated in a contemporary style, but still very warm and cozy. The kitchen was fully equip with everything we needed and luxury appliances. I loved that the bed had the oversized pillows; two feather and two foamy, loved the feather pillows! You can tell there has been a lot of thought and care put into this place, not to mention how immaculately clean everything was. We loved this place and will not stay anywhere else in Whistler after staying here. We will be back at least twice this year! Thanks again!
This was our second visit to Marilyn's townhome and once again we were not disappointed! Booking is a breeze and since it was a holiday, she even agreed to let us in a bit early! The village was blanketed in snow so the location is ideal for easily walking in and around for food, drinks and the slopes. In our opinion there is no need to look at any other listing ever as Marilyn's will be our home away from home for many years to come!

The only thing I would recommend is have the barbaque inspected regularly as when we went to light it it almost took off my sons eyebrows with the flare up of the flame.I think it needs a good cleaning from the inside out.Everything else was great, great location to walk to the village and everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. This condo was very convenient for shopping and activities in whistler; it is within walking distance of everything you will need. You can view the mountains while sitting in the hot tub! This is one of the nicer accomodations we've stayed at in Whistler. The kitchen has very modern stainless steel appliances and new countertops. The living room has a very nice flat screen LCD TV and new modern furniture. The bedroom is very nice with a flat screen LCD TV and private hot tub. We will be recommending this location to our friends.
As soon as we got to Whistler, it was amazing, it started snowing in March...When we got to the room, we were blown away at how great the room looked. It is very spacious. Clean. Had everything we needed. The queen pull out from the couch came into handy. I liked that we had our own parking space as well. The King bed upstairs was very comfortable and the jacuzzi outside the bedroom was amazing. Awesome views straight from the room and it was very warm no matter how cold it got outside. The fireplace was awesome as well. This room is located all the way on the opposite side of where everyone skis and snowboards but there is a shuttle that takes u there for free and it's a less than 10 minute walk there. It was one of the best experiences i had on a vacation and makes me want to move there =)
The condo was neat and clean. We loved the interior design. Our kids really enjoyed the private hot tub expecially after skiing. It made us feel comfortable and relax!
This one bed apartment totally exceeded my expectations. Glaciers Reach units in general can be dated and the private hot tubs are often adjacent to well used walkways. This unit has been renovated with great taste, and feels like a home rather than a rental unit. Moreover, the very private hot tub is next to the bedroom on the third floor and it has a great outlook. My only complaint was that it was not available for the whole of my holiday and I needed to stay in a 4* studio in a nearby lodge that was more expensive, half the size and appeared 2* by comparison. I would definitely stay there again.
