Welcome to our home away from home. We hope you will feel the same once you have experienced the vibrancy and solitude of this incredible all season resort.
Upper floor location includes two bedrooms, two baths, fully equipped kitchen open to the living/dining area. Heated tile floors, vaulted ceilings, private deck with hot tub are included. Ski, boot and equipment storage at the entry level.
Free high speed wireless internet, three TV's and a couple of DVD players, games and puzzles compliment the resort's activities.
View Mt Morrisey from the living room, deck and hot tub. Catch a glimpse of Sunburst (Tod Mountain) from the guest bedroom. You know what is in store before you venture onto the slopes.
Ski in ski out location. Walk out the door, cross the courtyard to the 16th golf fairway, ski to Morrisey and enjoy the tree gladed runs. Then cross over on either Delta's Return or Home Run to the village and ride up Sundance and Sunburst high speed quad chairs and enjoy the sunny skies, powder snow and wide open cruising runs. The advanced set will love the diamonds and double diamonds on top of Crystal chair and the newly devoped runs on Morrisey. Enjoy lunch at the village or the lodge on top of Sunburst. Have a beverage on the patio at Bottoms in the village, take the Sundance chair and ski home via Rambler to East Village Ski Way to Fair Dinkum, across the 16th fairway and down to where you started your day. Alternative is to take advantage of the resort's shuttle bus service. Daily during holidays and most of January from 8:30 to 4:20. Pick up and drop off in front of our building. Enjoy the hot tub, a quiet dinner at home or head to the village for dining and evening fun.
On your way into the village, check out the heated swimming pool, tennis courts and skating rink. These, along with the tube sliding course and bunge trampoline in the village are open daily and into the early evening. Entertainment for the whole family!
Summer features great golf, hiking, fishing, biking and back country to explore. Sunburst chair will take your family to the top where several trails open to vast panoramas. Mountain bikers will love the special chairs installed just for their bikes! The summer wine and arts festival includes a wonderful salmon dinner at the lodge on top of Sunburst.

Oh, we almost forgot: during ski season, get freshly baked cinnamon rolls at the lodge on top of Sunburst, every morning at 10 (available until they run out, but fresh at 10). Also available at the Umbrella Cafe at Morrisey.

Location & Map
Our condo is a ten minute walk or three minute drive from the village, less to the swimming pool and ice skating rink. A wonderful opportunity to see the stars at night when walking to or from the village. Be sure to take in the lighted village trails. During the day, explore the trails on the lower mountain or travel up the Sunburst chair for more excitement. A joy winter, summer, fall and spring!
Access the Morrisey lift by skiing over the 16th fairway, under the bridge, or take the shuttle to the village and Sunburst/Sundance lifts.
During the winter months, a free shuttle bus stops in front of the garage entrance. Check with the day lodge information center for departure and return times.

We bought in December 2006 and come up from Seattle as often as we can. It has become our second home! We are as active in the "dry" seasons with hiking, canoeing and exploring the back country as we are during the wonderful winters with all the dry powder snow. Perfect Ski Condo For Families

Would highly recommend this condo to friends. We travel a lot and stay in rentals all over the world and this has been one of our favorites! The owners are super helpful and respond back immediately to any questions. They are very professional to work with and go out of their way to ensure you have the perfect stay. The condo is equipped with everything you might need and more. We have stayed in so many condos, and never have we had the situation where not once did we need to head to the store to pick something up. They even have a waffle iron! Loads of pots and pans and cooking utensils. We are foodies and almost brought a bunch of cooking items, but other reviewers stated the condo had everything. What a surprise to find out this was correct! Thank goodness we didn't lug in a bunch of unnecessary items. The photos are accurate, but we felt that it looked and "felt" better in person. The beds and pillows were very good. It was clean and everything was in perfect working order. The maintenance staff were always helpful and really focused on outstanding customer service. This condo is more private than others so we'd recommend it over other locations in either Stone's Throw or overall at Sun Peaks. When you are in the hot tub after skiing you look out onto a ski hill and trees. Many other condos look out onto a courtyard or walking trail so you'd be essentially on display for other guests. Also, we heard from other guests that the condos (at Stone's Throw) below (the lower units) have a lot of noise. The ski-in/ski-out was easy for us and also looked to be the best bet at Sun Peaks. Super dog-friendly resort. We plan to return to Sun Peaks so we checked out other locations and we did not find anything as private as #28. We are hoping to staying with Jim and Dee Dee again! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable condo. Extremely well equipped. Friendly owners who went the extra mile to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. We appreciated the out of village location and the mountain views. The short stroll down to the village, when we needed, was good exercise. Easy access to Mt Morrisey chair and ski almost to the door from "Fair Dinkum" and "Csecz".

Perfect Ski Condo for Family

We travel a lot and stay in loads of rentals worldwide. This condo was perfect for our family of 4 (2 kids, 13 & 11) and dog. The owners were so helpful before we arrived with all of our questions and they have great tips. They are super professional to work with and go out of their way to ensure you have the perfect stay. While the photos are accurate, we all felt it looked better in person. Somehow this condo has a very good "feel" to it. The windows and deck overlook a non-busy road so you are private and only see trees and the Morrissey runs from your hot tub. Everything in the condo was in perfect working order and clean. Good beds and pillows. There are loads of cooking utensils, pots and pans, even a waffle iron. Much more than the typical condo rental. The ski-in is super easy with only about 50 feet of walking at the end, or in our case, due to snow levels we skied all the way up to our door! The ski-out has flat parts at the end so you need to skate ski about 50-100 feet to reach the Morrissey chair. From what we saw, unless you stay at a hotel in the village, this has the best ski in/ski out access. We also liked the privacy once inside the condo. which other condos and complexes did not have (you'd be out in the open in your hot tub apres skiing - sometimes right on walking trails). Sun peaks is a wonderful ski resort and perfect for families. It is large and remote so short lift lines. We were there on some of their busiest days around Xmas and compared to Crystal or Alpental, the lift lines were nothing! It took mere minutes to get on. This is our favorite resort in the Pac NW and we have been to them all. Nice village in the Bavarian theme, but it's new so it's like a Disney version of an Austrian ski village. Super clean everywhere. Found high-quality espresso bar at Bolacco's. All the Sun Peaks staff were very happy and customer service was excellent, much better than resorts in the States. Loads of restaurant choices, etc. even a crepe place that offered gluten-free options. Since the hot tub at the condo was a nice place to hang out, and the kitchen easy, we did not eat at any restaurants and only got coffee a couple times. If you are a double-black fan, the mountain is not as steep as a place like Crystal or Alp. so the blacks and double-blacks at Sun Peaks will not be as steep. However, the runs are gorgeous and fun and many times you are all alone! Lots of fun gladed areas between the black runs. "First tracks" was common for us even in a busy period. Overall would highly recommend for families. We are already hoping to come back again next year. Also - it's a dog-friendly place. In a field near the condo everyone would let their dogs run free after skiing in the late afternoon. We took our dog into stores, guest services, etc. and no problem. You can just leave you dog in your car in the heated garage while you ski. Would highly recommend this condo (and Sun Peaks) to a friend.

We have been a regular at Sun Peaks and this condo for about 3 years. It's very well kept and fully stocked with all the appliances and kitchen essentials. Sun peaks resort in the summer is stunning with high alpine meadows to explore. If your an adventure enthusiast it offers downhill and cross country mountain biking and if you have an enduro motorcycle, hundreds of miles of mountain trails right from your door step. Along with beautiful lakes for swimming and fishing it's an undiscovered paradise. .
Cosy ski vacation condo

Location, comfort, amenities, this condo has all. The ski out/in location, away from the hub-bub of the village but an easy walk, across from the sledding hill and Nordic center. Comfort: heated bathroom floors, couches to snuggle into after a day on the slopes, hot tub on the balcony overlooking Mt. Morrissey. Amenities: covered garage, well appointed kitchen with staples provided, ski rack & plenty of hooks for gear, washer/dryer in unit, games,books, movies (my husband watched the Godfather on our day off). We traveled with our grandson to ski with another daughter and her family (they rented a condo across from us). The boys had sleep overs in our 2nd bedroom with their own bathroom, snuggled into the couches to read, tobogganed on the hills behind Stone's Throw. The owner's, the Deans, were always responsive to our inquiries. It is obvious that they use and care for this condo. I would not hesitate to recommend #28 for your next ski vacation.

Visited during Spring Break 2013. Great ski-in/ski-out location, close to cross-country trails. Unit #28 at Stone's Throw was perfect accommodation for two adults and two teenage boys who had a room to themselves to hide away to watch tv and play dvds and most importantly, their own washroom! The kitchen was very well equipped and the hot tub was a welcome retreat after being on the slopes. Many thanks to Jim and Dee Dee.

The condo was absolutely amazing. We had everything we ever could have needed. The ski hill was out our backdoor and it was a short beautiful walk to town. The hot tub was awesome and had a wonderful view. Would definitely stay again because it is also pet friendly.

Already before arriving we got a lot of information from the owner. Access to the house was easy and everything was ready for us. The house has everything you want. Kitchen fully equipped and an ootdoor jacuzzi. There was even christmas decoration and a christmas tree there. There are DVDs, board games, books and puzzles. Not only skiing, also tubing was fun.

Condo is a good size with a bunk bed with a queen bottom mattress in one room and master with full on suit in the other and a sofa bed that pulls out in the living room. It's well kept, clean and stocked with most things you'll ever need in a kitchen as well as soaps in the bathrooms. We've used this a number of times and each time it's 1st class. Sun Peaks resort is a beautiful place in the summer time particularly if you golf or mountain bike.

We have stayed at the Deans place for two years and loved it! We will be going back next year and for years to come. The place is warm and comfortable. the hot tub on the deck is great after a day of skiing. We come up form Seattle and it's a nice drive up to Sun Peaks. The skiing is wonderful, , we go 75' to the fairway and then ski down through the underpass and to the Morrisey Express, it's a high speed quad. Fro lunch meet at Masa's Bar and Grill. Then after skiing go into the hot tub, then a nice dinner. You can have a great trip to Sun peaks. This condo is great and so is the area. You won't be disappointed.

hot tub was cleaned at 4 pm, just when we wanted to jump in. Breaker went and it wasn't labelled on the breaker box. V. good response though as there was someone on the mtn who came right away. Ran out of toilet paper. Only 1 spare roll on arrival. :)

Relaxing Home on a Great Hill from Kamloops BC
We felt very comfortable in your home on the hill ! Usually, I am quite picky and I had nothing to really complain about...however ,there was a black audi car parked in our stall # the whole three days that we were there, so we parked over in parking lot #5. we never phoned anyone because we were unsure if our SUV with Ski rack would even fit down there, so we let it go...everything else was great !! We were very relaxed and enjoyed our stay !

We appreciated the Owner Policies, Check in and arrival instructions. The directions were easy to follow as we didn't know the area. The condo was spotless with lots of bedding, towels and well appointed kitchen. The hot tub was clean and heated. Even a dish of candy for us. The condo was lovely. It was a short and pleasant walk to get to the village shops via the cleared walk way and the night lighting added to the atmosphere. A few steps to get on a run to Mt. Morrisey. It was a wonderful 3 days.
