 Welcome!

Welcome to our home away from home.  We hope you will feel the same once you have experienced the vibrancy and solitude of this incredible all season resort. 

Upper floor location includes two bedrooms, two baths, fully equipped kitchen open to the living/dining area.  Heated tile floors, vaulted ceilings, private deck with hot tub are included.   Ski, boot and equipment storage at the entry level.

Free high speed wireless internet, three TV's and a couple of DVD players, games and puzzles compliment the resort's activities. 

View Mt Morrisey from the living room, deck and hot tub. Catch a glimpse of Sunburst (Tod Mountain) from the guest bedroom.  You know what is in store before you venture onto the slopes. 

Ski in ski out location.  Walk out the door, cross the courtyard to the 16th golf fairway, ski to Morrisey and enjoy the tree gladed runs.  Then cross over on either Delta's Return or Home Run to the village and ride up Sundance and Sunburst high speed quad chairs and enjoy the sunny skies, powder snow and wide open cruising runs. The advanced set will love the diamonds and double diamonds on top of Crystal chair.   Enjoy lunch at the village or the lodge on top of Sunburst.  Have a beverage on the patio at Bottoms in the village, take the Sundance chair and ski home via Rambler to East Village Ski Way to Fair Dinkum, across the 16th fairway and down to where you started your day.  Alternative is to take advantage of the resort's shuttle bus service.  Daily during holidays and most of January from 8:30 to 4:20.  Pick up and drop off in front of our building.  Enjoy the hot tub, a quiet dinner at home or head to the village for dining and evening fun. 

On your way into the village, check out the heated swimming pool, tennis courts and skating rink.  These, along with the tube sliding course and bunge trampoline  in the village are open daily and into the early evening.  Entertainment for the whole family!

Summer features great golf, hiking, fishing, biking and back country to explore.  Sunburst chair will take your family to the top where several trails open to vast panoramas.  Mountain bikers will love the special chairs installed just for their bikes!  The summer wine and arts festival includes a wonderful salmon dinner at the lodge on top of Sunburst.

What a life!  Reserve now to take advantage of the fun!

Oh, we almost forgot: during ski season, get freshly baked cinnamon rolls at the lodge on top of Sunburst, every morning at 10 (available until they run out, but fresh at 10).  Also available at the Umbrella Cafe at Morrisey.

Kitchen

GE/Frigidaire appliances, including self cleaning range, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave oven (vented to the outside).  Stainless steel double compartment sink with garbage disposal and removable handle faucet sprayer.  Automatic coffee maker with filters, french press coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, 4 slice toaster, electric pot to heat water (10 cup)..  We supply coffee and tea packets to get you started.  Salt, pepper, sugar and spices are provided.  Pots and pans , cooking supplies kitchen knives provided.  Plates, cups, drinking and wine glasses and silverware provided.  Dish and dishwasher soap in cabinet under sink along with recycle and garbage plastic bags..

Living Area

Open to dining and kitchen with vaulted ceilings and tall living room windows looking toward Mt Morrisey and the wooded areas.  Gas fireplace, two double sized sofas (one is a pull out bed), 32" flat screen TV with DVD and CD players.  Access to deck and hot tub from door next to fireplace.  Hot tub towels provided in basket by the door.

Location

Our condo is a ten minute walk or three minute drive from the village, less to the swimming pool and ice skating rink.  A wonderful opportunity to see the stars at night when walking to or from the village.  Be sure to take in the lighted village trails.  During the day, explore the trails on the lower mountain or travel up the Sunburst chair for more excitement.  A joy winter, summer, fall and spring!

Access the Morrisey lift by skiing over the 16th fairway, under the bridge, or take the shuttle to the village and Sunburst/Sundance lifts.

During the winter months, a free shuttle bus stops in front of the garage entrance.  Check with the day lodge information center for departure and return times.

No Smoking Inside - Smoking Outside Permitted We allow smoking on our patios and decks. Please use the ashtrays provided and ensure all cigarettes are extinguished. Deposit butts in garbage can ONLY upon vacating the condo. Please close any windows and doors to prevent smoke from entering unit. See note below in non-smokers only category.
Non-Smokers Only Not allowed in the unit.. Additional cleaning charges will be levied on your credit card for violation of this rule whether by smoking in the unit or outside if fumes enter and cause damage.
Pets One small to medium sized dog, or one cat, subject to prior approval from Owner. Exceptions may be made subject to Owner's discretion. $200 deposit required, refundable less $50 for cleaning. Dog must be contained in kennel or vehicle (heated garage) when guest is not in residence, kept off of furniture as much as possible, escorted when out of doors and all poops picked up (poop bags available at post by stairs to garage)..
Seniors Seniors are welcomed. The owners are seniors, so more the merrier!

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests Prior to 45 days from arrival, full refund, less 4% credit card fee. Less than 45 days, no refund unless rented toanother party, the, full refund less 4% fee.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Provided at time of final payment.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Will be charged against your credit card. Please contact us if you see any damage or unsatisfactory conditions upon your arrival
Excessive Noise Please do not make noise outside from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Reported disturbaces will result in eviction
Forgotten Items by Guest Let us know. We will do our best to return them.
Garbage Removal Place all waste and recycles in recepticals and they will be removed at the end of your stay. You may also drop off trash at transfer station at entrance to Village by horse barn.
Housekeeping Upon arrival and departure. Charges will be billed to your credit card for excessive cleaning
Internet Availability & Usage Wireless available in unit, no extra charge.
Liability We are not responsible for harm to guests while on our property or any location at Sun Peaks.
Maintenance Emergencies Contact name and phone numbers will be supplied in Info package to be delivered upon final payment.

 About Us

We bought in December 2006 and come up from Seattle as often as we can.  It has become our second home!  We are as active in the "dry" seasons with hiking, canoeing and exploring the back country as we are during the wonderful winters with all the dry powder snow.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions, especially so if you want us to reserve a space for you in the future.
