Beautiful Lac Nantel is an enjoyable 4-season lakefront chalet on the shore of the pristine Lac Nantel.
 
We can accommodate 8 guests comfortably in the delightful 4 bedrooms along with two full bathrooms, one with a two-person jaccuzi.
 
The chalet also includes a fully equipped open plan kitchen, a dining and living room warmed by a stone wood fireplace. There is a wrap around deck that allows lake views in all seasons.  Amenities include high-speed Internet access, satellite television, dvd player, a washer and dryer as well as all the various items you need to make your stay hassle free.
 
In the winter, skiing at Mont Blanc is 5 minutes away and Tremblant is accessible within 20 minutes.  Cross-country skiing, ice fishing, skating, snow-shoeing and other winter sport facilities are all available inside Mont-Tremblant National Park. 
 
In other seasons, guests can captain a canoe or paddle boat out onto Lac Nantel or swim and fish from the dock.  More nearby diversions include the famous bike trail (Le Petite Train du Nord), the Royal Laurentian Golf Course (3 min. away!), Scandinave Spa and Casino de Mont-Tremblant. 
 
Located on the most beautiful lake in the Laurentians - Lac Nantel in Mont-Tremblant is off Route 117, approximately 2 hours from Ottawa.

We would like you to enjoy your stay.  Please read the following policies before booking.  We would like to point out the noise policy.  Lac Nantel is a quiet area and noise is to be kept to a minimum after 10pm.

Non-Smokers Only No smoking inside, under any circumstances. Cigarette butts are to be disposed in a proper manner. Please do not litter on the grounds or throw cigarette butts into the lake. Violators subject to all or portion of damage deposit being withheld.
Pets Please inquire. Pets considered on a case-by-case basis. Owner permission is required before bringing your pet into the chalet or on the grounds of the property. Please clean up after your pet. Pets must be under control at all times, and the local laws & bylaws must be obeyed. Cleaning fees will apply if excrement is left on the grounds or if damage is caused by pets. Pet fee charged ($75). Permission must be requested from owners prior to check-in.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Policy Description
Cancellations Made by Guests 75% refundable with 45 days notice. Credit card processing fee (4%) will be deducted from all refunds including security/damage deposit refund.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds for late arrivals.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Via Email. Check-in instructions and the exact location of the chalet will be sent to you a few days before your check-in date.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Stay Contract These policies, the contents of the guest binder and any instructions received from the owners via email, telephone or any other means, form the contract. The guest binder is located on the kitchen counter inside the chalet. Please read it for important information and contact details.
Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Payment via Internet or Phone. Payment and security due in full if reservation is made less than 45 days prior to check-in date.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. Guest Stay Policies

Policy Description
Amenity Terms of Use By using the amenities, the guest agrees to care for them and secure them after use. For your own comfort, please leave the dehumidifier on the lower level running and empty periodically.
Check-In Time 3:00pm.
Check-Out Time 11:00am SHARP. Our housekeeper will visit the chalet promptly after your departure in order to prepare for the next guest. If you are late leaving the cottage, you will be charged for a full 24 hours at regular price (up to $450) which will be deducted from your security deposit.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Housekeeping over and above the norm. We provide complimentary housekeeping for a fixed cost to us. Should we get billed for additional hours we will pass this expense to the renter. Following our policies with respect to check-out should ensure no damage deposit funds being withheld for excessive housekeeping.
Excessive Noise Lac Nantel is a quiet place. Please respect the neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum. Quiet time starts at 10pm until 10am. A complaint received for noise caused by the leasee or guests is subject to a fine, and could cause an immediate cancellation and expulsion from the property without a refund. If neighbours complain regarding noise, the police may be called. Any related expenses will be deducted from your security deposit and also may result in blacklisting from a range of vacation properties.
Garbage Removal Place in garbage containers outside prior to check-out. Please do not litter, which includes cigarette butts. Garbage is collected every Tuesday or every second Tuesday, depending on the time of year. Please see the collection schedule in the chalet or email us for more information.
Housekeeping Complimentary before check-in and after check-out. Chalet must be left in a respectable state. We realize you are on vacation however there are a small number of requirements as documented in these policies that must be followed to avoid withholding the security deposit for excessive housecleaning. Also, please do not litter on the grounds including the lake.
Internet Availability & Usage Available for email and light-browsing only. Downloading files is not permitted. Any excess usage may result in a usage charge that will be recovered from your security deposit. Owners are not responsible or liable for any connectivity issues or outages during your stay. Nor refunds will be given if the Internet connection is unavailable.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while inside our property or on the common grounds of property. Not responsible for loss, theft of, or damage to any personal belongings.
Locking Door Lock all doors and windows and arm the alarm system prior to check-out. If you are provided with a code for the alarm system, please arm it prior to check-out. Any false-alarm fines occurring during your stay will be recovered from your security deposit. To avoid false-alarms, do not arm the system with pets inside.

Maximum Sleeping Capacity 10. 3 double beds, 2 twin beds, 1 pull-out sofa.
Missing Items Damage/Security deposit will be utilized to replace any missing items.
Noise Restrictions Lac Nantel is a peaceful place. Fireworks are prohibited on the grounds. Stereos are not to be brought outside as the noise carries across the lake and disturbs the neighbours. If complaints are received due noise, this may result in police involvement, eviction from the property without a refund, and a portion of the security deposit being withheld.
Property Damage Security deposit. Guest authorizes a $500 CAD charge on their card prior to arrival in the event of property damage. Guests are responsible for cost of all repairs that they (or their guests) cause. Guests are also responsible for payment of repairs if they cost more than $500. Refund method: Interac Email Transfer (unless an alternate method is requested at the time of booking). Credit card processing fee (4%) will be deducted from all refunds including security/damage deposit refund. Damage to trees, lawn, plant life or foliage will be recovered from security deposit. Please do not remove the bark from the trees. Please do not drive or park vehicles on the grass/lawn.
Rental Accommodation Zoning Long and short term rentals. You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. If you would like to shorten your reservation, please note that your payment is non-refundable.
Terms of Eviction Smoking, excessive noise, threat of common or private property damage, excess of 8 overnight occupants without our permission. All evictions will result in a full loss of lodging and tax payment and quite possibly a potion or all of damage deposit.

What should we bring to the chalet? Here are some recommended items you should consider bringing with you to Lac Nantel in the SUMMER: Sunscreen, swimsuits, toiletries, beach towels. In the WINTER: Skis, toiletries, warm clothes!
Do I need to bring my own sheets? No you do not. The chalet comes fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holiday.

Location

Where is the chalet located? The chalet is located in Saint-Faustin-Lac-Carre, which is approximately 10 from Mont-Tremblant and 15 minutes from Mont-Blanc. It takes approximately 1 hour to drive from Montreal; 2 hours from Ottawa; 3 1/2 hours from Quebec City; and 6 1/2 hours from Toronto.

What is there to do in the area? Plenty! In the SUMMER: You can go swimming in the lake; bike riding on the trails at P'tit Train du Nord; fishing on the lake; canoeing, etc. Don't forget to leave some time to enjoy the beautiful scenery! Security/Damage deposit

Is a security deposit required? There is a security deposit of $500 CAD. This will be returned by Interac Email Transfer after the housekeeper inspects and cleans the property. You should receive the refund within approximately 5 business days.

Where is the nearest grocery store? There are 3 grocery stores less than 10 minutes away. Maxi, IGA and Super C are all located off Hwy 117 (turn right onto the highway). You'll see the stores on your right.
