Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests Deposit is non-refundable. If cancellation is made within 45 days of arrival, the balance will be refunded only if a replacement booking is made.
Delayed Arrivals Non-refundable. Sorry, we are not responsible for circumstances that may cause you to be delayed arriving the unit.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Delivered via email prior to departure.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Payment is due according to the schedule set forth in the rates and payment section. If payment can't be made on the due dates, please contact Mountain Hideaways immediately. If payment arrangement can't be made, the reservation will be cancelled with no refund of the deposit.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Responsibility of guest. If the unit is not left in satisfactory condition..excessive cleaning charges will be charged to guest credit card.
Excessive Noise Noise complaints may result in immediate eviction. No refunds offered if evicted due to noise complaints.
Garbage Removal Responsibility of guest. Garbage and recycling area is located in the underground parkade.
Housekeeping Provided by Mountain Hideaways. Complimentary mid-stay clean for stays of 7 nights or longer.
Internet Availability & Usage Free internet. Instructions are located inside the unit.
Liability No liability is implied or offered in our unit. We will not be held or take responsibility for any injury or illness that occurs during your stay in our home or anywhere in Whistler resort.

Maximum Sleeping Capacity 6. If capacity is exceeded, it may result in eviction of the unit.
Missing Items Responsibility of guest. To be charged to guests' credit card.
Noise Restrictions Excessive noise will not be tolerated. May result in immediate eviction.

This condo is just perfect! Close to everything: the village stroll, the gondolas, the supermarket etc. It is spacious, very clean with lots of dishes, pots and glasses. The hot tub is nice, bigger than others, and the heated pool is just fine. Nice place to relax after a day at the mountain. We really enjoyed our stay there!

The stove was filthy - I had to self clean it before I used it. I could not find a cutting board to use. The smaller of the 2 kettles leaked and I ended up boiling water in a pot. A screen on the sliding door in the bedroom would of been beneficial. It was strange that there was no A/C - I see that there was no A/C mentioned in your property listing.

Our first night there I needed to call security at 1:30am and again after 3:00am for drunks in the pool. On our last night there was a very rude individual who rooted us out of the pool at 955pm. The other nite I tried to access your site to see about October reservations but the site was not working.

This unit is exactly what you see in the pictures- there are no surprises. Yes, the unit is a bit dated, the dishes do not match and there is no patio furniture. Make sure to bring foldable chairs for the front patio, which is directly across from the pool. The morning sun from this patio was wonderful.

This was a last minute booking for our family and we were pleased with it. Jason (property manager/owner) was very responsive with any questions or concerns. I emailed Jason in the morning to let him know that the hair dryer was broken and by the end of the day he had dropped off a new one. I felt very confident that any issues with the unit would be taken care of.

We have stayed 5 times in the last 3 years at either Sunpath or Lagoons and this property is by far the worst. The tile entry way floor was filthy and obviously hadn't been mopped since the winter season. The vinyl flooring although great for our 2 small dogs was dusty and under the beds and couch was crumbs, hair and dustballs.

In the kitchen there were mismatched dishes and glasses and not enough of for the two of us. If you were a family of 4 you'd run out of clean bowls and glasses. There was only 3 garbage bags left for a 12 night stay and we used all of the 6 dishwasher tablets. We had only one dishcloth and dish towel.

The unit has a key lock so had to always carry around a key chain whereas all the other rentals had key codes to punch in. Pick an owner rented unit rather than one managed by a company. The complex is great and we enjoyed the pool and closeness to the village. We will stay here or at the Lagoons again, just not one run by Mountain Hideaway.

Great location, great price. Owner & Manager responded quickly to our requests and they were very helpful and accommodating.

The kitchen might need a small equipment upgrade; nothing major though.

Great location and parking facility; good kitchen equipment and wi-fi. No patio furniture although two patios are advertised,* no screen in sliding door that is the only window to one of the bedrooms, so it got hot and stuffy. Linen supply uneven (one washcloth, two hand towels for three people). Unit needs a bit of TLC, but is serviceable. Patio could've been cleaner -- as in, sweep it and remove the junk in the cubbyhole -- car seat, broken plastic bin. The grounds of the whole property are very nice and well maintained, though. The pool/hot tub area is small -- no chairs. One family with two kids pretty much fills the pool. If you want an afternoon nap in the summer, stay somewhere else because screaming kids at the pool will not let that happen. *Manager did bring some plastic patio chairs the day after we called to voice our disappointment about having two patios and no chairs. We had to bring them in at night, though, because he said they keep getting stolen. I'm thinking maybe heavier furniture (chained if necessary) might do the trick in more ways than one. Dragging chairs through the condo did not appeal to us, so we just used one of the patios.

Perfect Vacation Rental

We stayed in unit #27 which is a ground floor unit in the center of the complex. It was a perfect location, the unit was clean and fit our family of four with a dog perfectly. The grounds of the complex are well kept and the pool although on the smaller side was perfect for the kids after a day of activities. The unit is within walking distance to the village, a grocery store and other amenities. The only thing that would have made the place even better would be the use of a portable BBQ, that we could have brought out of the unit to use during our stay. I would definitely stay again and book with Mountain Hideaways who were excellent to deal with. They sent us a full itinerary which included hints on how to get there, where to shop and how to book Whistler activities. Accessing the unit was also simple as they provide you with a code for a lock box which the provides you with access to the suite and the secured underground parkade.
