 Our beautiful, well-appointed 1 bedroom unit is located in one of the most ideal locations in Whistler.  A perfect place for family and friends to relax after a long day on the slopes.


A great top floor corner location with only one neighbour. Enjoy picturesque 180 degree mountain views from Marketplace Lodges' largest patio. No vehicle required at our unit. You are steps away from shopping, restaurants and everything Whistler has to offer. It is an easy walk into Whistler village, and access to both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, or catch the free ski shuttle bus that passes by the complex regularly. Whistlers' largest grocery and liquor store are conveniently located just outside of the complex, as well as a video store, retail outlets and many restaurants.

Property Description

Our 1 bedroom property is a spacious 549 square feet, not including the large patio with 180 degree views of the surrounding mountains.  We have an open concept with the kitchen/living/dining areas located as you enter the property. Plenty of storage available, and a washer/dryer provided for laundry during your stay.  The unit has1 full bathroom.  Access to the bathroom is from the bedroom and hallway.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests 30 days notice required. First night is NON-REFUNDABLE. If cancellation is made within 30 days of arrival, the balance will be refunded only if a replacement booking is made.
Delayed Arrivals Non-refundable. Sorry, we are not responsible for circumstances that may cause you to be delayed arriving to the unit.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Delivered via e-mail prior to your departure. Please contact Mountain Hideaways if you have not received information prior to departure.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Guest Stay Policies

Bike Storage Secured bike storage located in underground parking. You will need to provide your own lock
Check-In Time 4 pm. We try to accomodate for early arrivals. Please contact Mountain Hideaways.
Check-Out Time 11am. We try to accomodate for late departures. Please contact Mountain Hideaways.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs End of stay clean provided by Mountain Hideaways. If the unit is left in unsatisfactory condition, guest will incur a cleaning charge to their credit card.
Excessive Noise NOT TOLERATED. If noise complaint is received..this could result in immediate eviction.
Garbage Removal Guest responsibility. Garbage and Recycling room is located in the underground parking area.
Housekeeping A cleaning crew will prepare the unit before and after your stay. For stays of 7 days or more, we will arrange a mid-week clean and change of towels and linens if needed (no charge). Daily cleaning is not provided.
Internet Availability & Usage Free wireless internet. Instructions and passwords provided inside the unit.
Liability No liability is implied or offered in our unit. We will not be held or take responsibility for any injury or illness that occurs during your stay in our home or anywhere in Whistler resort.

Enjoyed our stay here -- great location, good setup of unit for 2 - think 4 would be a tight, fit , awesome deck with abundance of chairs - would be great esp. in warmer weather , the kitchen chairs need cleaning or replacement as quite stained, everything else very clean . Enjoyed our stay. Traffic noise a tad loud in bedroom but tolerable, not so noticeable in the living area. Got good instructions and quick feedback from owner when required.

I've stayed in Marketplace Lodge quite a few times, all different units. It's the first time I've stayed at the end of the hall, where the fire exit is, as well as the hot tub. The main reason I booked the property on the initial search of properties said the description of the unit was newly renovated.

The unit was very clean and the kitchen appliances look new, but the unit did not look newly renovated. Once you see "newly renovated" you have different expectations. Overall, the unit was very clean, very convenient and the value was good for what the rate was.

Christmas–New Year Stay

The check-in instructions were clear and we had no trouble getting in and out. Convenient location, across the parking lot from Marketplace IGA. Enough kitchenware to let us cook breakfast and some dinner. There is a hand mixer if you decide to use it. The unit itself is all the way to the corner of the building, leaving us with mostly quiet nights. A plus is that it is the closest unit to the hot tub that we visited conveniently every day.

Upon inspecting our unit, we found that no detergent was available as stated. We contacted Jason, the property owner, who responded promptly and delivered a bottle of detergent in person the next day.

The Marketplace shuttle stop is downstairs of the building and took us less than five minutes from the unit to the stop via elevator. (If you want to climb down stairs with ski boots on, it could take shorter.) Overall, this location is close to most places you are likely to visit, and about a ten-minute walk from Whistler Village. The property owner was attentive and responsive, and all problems we encountered during our stay were resolved. We had a good stay. Kudos!

We rented two units in this building and this was the larger of the two. Lovely decor with great view from the large deck - really enjoyed our stay! This unit is centrally located with easy access to shops and the grocery store. There were a few things that needed fixing or replacement as indicated in previous reviews. Property manager was excellent (efficient and easy to work with).

Great little spot just on the outskirts of the village hub. Not a bad walk at all (2 mins), actually was nice and quiet when you wanted to get away from it all. The balcony was a huge plus! nice to let everything air dry, as well as sit out there when the sun came out. Amenities were fairly new. Some things outdated but for the price its a great deal. Definitely big enough for 2-4 ppl easily. Recommend!

We love the location of this unit because of our preference. We have now stayed at the unit over the years for more than 7 weeks. In terms of making our stay even better, we would like to suggest the following improvements. We would like to see some decluttering of the unit: paint cans, clearing out stuff under the bed and dresser, etc. It is a nice place in terms of décor, but a reading lamp next to the living couch would even make it better. Some of the maintenance and repair may be in order: replacing the blinds and a complete scrub down of the bathroom.

Finally, this is not related to the unit itself but it is affected by other part of the building. The main entrance access issue could be addressed quickly so that visitors don't have to use alternate accesses to get to the unit.

Perfect Position in Whistler

No need for a car whilst staying in Whistler with this rental but a secure parking spot is provided. Quiet top floor apartment with good size balcony, great mountain views and quiet as it is positioned at the back. Next door to the Hot tub, not used much as we visited in the summer. Good size, fairly well equipped, lots of hot water, plenty of towels and basic supplies and prompt attention from Jason when shower curtain needed replacing and change of linen needed. Now for the not so good news, we like to cook for ourselves and whilst there was a fairly good set of pans the wok needs replacing and there was not a sharp knife in the place! We had to buy one. Also the whole apartment needed a jolly good spring clean, we would expect it to be hotel clean and it was far from it. The balcony especially needed more than a birthday! We did not complain at the time as we were far too busy having fun but the matter certainly needs addressing.
