Property Description

Our townhouse boasts 1,200 sq. ft. of living space with dark Alder accents.  Garage, laundry and storage are on the ground floor.  The main floor consists of the powder room, large kitchen, dining and living room.  Off the kitchen, a private patio and a private 6 person hot tub.  A large deck with BBQ is off the living area.  Upstairs two large bedrooms, both with ensuites.  A small deck off the master bedroom on the front of the townhome.

Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable, unless booking can be replaced. Refunds or portions thereof will be refunded based on the number of nights rebooked and rebooked rate refunds will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your travel plans

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests are responsible for all cleaning costs over and above those of normal use. Guests will be responsible for excessive cleaning, dirty dishes, etc.
Excessive Noise this is a family complex, please do not disturb our neighbours
Garbage Removal Please take Garbage to the Transfer Station located on Industrial Way (western entrance to the resort).
Housekeeping provided by us after your departure.
Internet Availability & Usage free cabled internet available.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Sun Peaks Resort.
Locking Door Please ensure doors are locked any time you leave our unit vacant.

Beautiful home, perfect for a family

We stayed at Woodhaven 5 for 3 nights with our 3 young children on the long weekend. The home is absolutely beautiful, the kitchen is spacious, and the beds are comfortable. The location is excellent, and the use of the hot tub is definitely a perk. My only complaint, is that the kitchen was less stocked than I had expected. We did bring all our groceries with us, as there is no place to buy groceries in the village, but I didn't think of bringing oil to cook with and other small things like that. The only coffee available was decaf instant coffee, which was quite a surprise the first morning. Everything else was wonderful, and we stay here again without question. Thank you for the use of your home :)

We had an extended weekend at Sun Peaks for the BC cup #2/Canada Cup DH bike race. The weather was fabulous and the rental unit was perfect for our family. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We would recommend this rental unit to anyone wanting to stay at Sun Peaks.

Excellent holiday - excellent lodgings.

This was our first trip to Sun Peaks, and our family of 4 stayed for 4 nights at Woodhaven 5. The two bedroom lodgings were spacious, attractive and perfect for our time there. Easy ski-in/out access to the slopes, quick drive or nice walk to the village, and all the amenities that we required were at the condo. If there were any quibbles, we did find the air a bit dry in the condo (electric baseboard heaters and dry climate), but we are also used to damp, Vancouver weather! Also, the master bed seemed a little hard and small for a queen; but after skiing a full day, sleep was generally not a problem. We all enjoyed the bubble hockey table; nice to have movie channels on TV and a strong WiFi signal. Hot tub was also great apres ski!. All in all, a fantastic stay - we hope to make this an annual trip to Woodhaven 5!! (P.S. we found the cost reasonable for the accomodation we received.)

The Woodhaven 5 is pure indulgence, everything from the heated floors in the bathroom to a fully stocked kitchen made our ski vacation a wonderful experience. We skiied to the back door which was amazing. We would definately stay here again and recommend it for families or people looking to relax after a fun day of skiing. The hot tub was a great way to end the day.

We really enjoyed our stay at Woodhaven 5. The kitchen was well stocked, the whole place was very clean and we had lots of room for the our family. From the moment we arrived, until right when we left, we had so much fun playing the hockey game! Would definitely recommend this unit and would love to return.

We stayed at Wooedhaven 5 this past February for a 5 night family ski vacation. Booking, payment and arrival were all excellent and well organized. The condo was very clean, quiet, and well stocked. We did find the master suite bed very uncomfortable - too hard. Especially after a full day of skiing, but that is a personal preference. We usually stay in the East Village but this year we tried Woodhaven 5 which was a little further East than we usually do. While the location for us adults was fine, the location for skiing out to the hill was a little to far for our kids (6 and 9). There wasn't much of a downward slope to the Morrisey lift and our kids found it it difficult to traverse over the flat ground/cross country path to get to the Morrisey lift and then up a little hill to the chair. Coming back to the condo from the hill was great and not a problem. But skiing out to the lift was not enjoyable. I would recommed this great condo but we will probably wait a few more years until our kids are older to stay that far away from the lifts.

We had 7 of us stay and it was perfect. Lots of room, great basement area to leave ski gear. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook with. Wonderful master bedroom with large ensuite with showers. We will be going back again. Thanks for a great family stay!! Barb Holmes

Well stocked and clean. Disappointed that the bunk bed had only one end rail to step on and it appeared cracked and broke when a guy stepped on it. Not sure about how that will affect our deposit since we haven't gotten it back yet and it has been 2 weeks. I didn't realized it was a middle unit when we booked it, or we may have tried for an end one just for easier access and parking. Overall a beautiful place and in a great complex.

Our Stay on the Hill was good. We have stayed in better designs. Living room area small, only seats 4. Therfore 4 adults in condo is plenty. Kitchen could use a large cooking pan. Great response from Don, if we needed anything. Garbage desposal pickup confusing. Would have been nice to hear about hill events in advance. No family discount for ski hill.

Had a holly, jolly Christmas.
