Why stay in a hotel? Our penthouse cost's less and has all the advantages of being at home only better. Excellent for business travelers on extended stay.
Do not make a reservation without contacting the owner first. If your reservation is not accepted and you have made a deposit there is a 10% refund charge to cover costs. Building Bylaws allow monthly rentals only. Sleeps 2 guests maximum.
Our penthouse is located on the 22nd floor and has a 280 degree view overlooking beautiful English Bay, False Creek and downtown Vancouver. You can also see North Vancouver and the mountains. During the season you can see the cruse ships leave and any time of year the sunsets are beautiful. The unit faces south to take full advantage of the sun and the view. At night, the lights of the city and the stars are absolutly breathtaking.
Then entire unit has been remodled and updated. There are granite counter tops throughout, tile floors in the kitchen, bath with shower and private balcony. The living room, dining room, and bed room are carpeted. It is our home away from home and everything is there that you would expect in a home.
The building has secured entry and underground numbered parking. There is an indoor swimming pool and a pocket park just outside the door. The bus stop, grocery store, shopping, and restaurants are just one block away. It is two blocks to False Creek or English Bay and the start of Stanley Park. You are close and can walk to almost everything in the West End and Vancouver proper..

As you step in the front door your attention is immediately drawn to the expansive view from the living room. The bedroom and bathroom are just off the short hall leading to it. The dining room is off the living room and the galley kitchen is just off the dining room. The private balcony is just steps away through the large sliding glass doors in the living room.

Galley kitchen looks out over dining area and False Creek to the south. It has been completely remodled and has granite counter tops, self closing cabinets, stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, pots and pans, and all dishes, glassware, and utensils. Your home away from home has everything you need to enjoy your stay.
Living room is carpeted and has leather sofa and love seat with excellent views of Vancouver and False Creek. One wall is all window and looks out over city the other wall has a large sliding glass door that looks out over a private balcony to the south and False Creek. Comes with flat screen TV, stereo, CD library, DVD player, and books.
Dining area is carpeted and looks out over False Creek and English Bay.
The view. It is breathtaking and there are few better in Vancouver.

The apartment is located in Vancouver's historic West End close to the intersection of Cardero and Burnaby. It is on a tree lined street and there is a small pocket park immediately outside. It is within walking distance to almost everything Vancouver has to offer. The bus stop is only one block away as well as shopping and restaurants for every need. You are about 2 blocks from False Creek and English Bay. The bike trails around Stanly Park and False Creek are a short distance away also.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies
|Cancellations Made by Guests||As noted on Rental Agreement. Loss of reservaton deposit if more than 30 days prior to arrival. Within 30 days of arrival refund equal to number of nights re-rented during the reservation dates less 10% of deposit as a cancellation fee.|
|Delayed Arrivals||Please contact property manager or I as soon as possible if arrival date or time changes. I am not responsible for late or delayed arrivals and there will be no money refunded should this occur unless previously agreed to and confirmed in writing.|
|Delivery of Instructions and Access Information||Numbered keys to building and apartment. Will be provided on arrival by property manager.|
|Guest Account Termination||The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site|
|Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal||The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses|

Guest Stay Policies

|Complaints Concerning Property||Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.|
|Excessive Noise||EXCESSIVE NOISE WILL NTO BE TOLERATED. There is a strict noise policy and guest are responsible for all cost and fines and may be subject to immediate evection.|
|Liability||We will not be held or take responsibility for any liability. We will not be held or take responsible for injury or illness that occurs during your stay in our home.|

|Maximum Sleeping Capacity||2. One single adult or a couple.|
|Property Damage||Restitution will be sought for damages. Any property damage or missing items will be deducted from damage deposit. A invantory will be taken prior to move in and move out.|

|Terms of Eviction||Excessive noise, disturbance, damage in or around the premises or misrepresentation of information on the rental applicaton. In case of eviction NO money will be refunded. Any fines or additional costs will be the responsibility of the renter.|
We have owned this property since 2000 and spend most of our summers there. It is our home away from home. We like to rent it out to qualified people when we are not there. You will find everything in the unit you would expect.
The main reason we purchased the property is the view, location, and the fact that we can walk to almost everything. The building is older but very comfortable with good neighbors and on site caretakers. Both entry and parking are secured.

We rented Dave Greer's Vancouver apartment off the internet and hoped that it would be as nice as it looked. We were so happy to find the apartment was more amazing then we anticipated. The view of the city harbour was incrediable! It was in an excellent location. We walked three blocks to the beach daily. It had excellent transportation nearby including the False Creek Ferry. The apartment was well stocked with all the basics we needed and there were lots of restaurant options nearby. We would highly recommend this accomodation and hope to rent it again ourselves. The only downside was that we had to leave.
