In Whistler's upper village lies The Woods, a charming townhouse complex set amidst a preserved old growth forest bordering the Chateau Whistler Golf Course. Lost Lake is a short five minute stroll along the valley trail behind the complex. Here there are plentiful cross country skiing and mountain biking trails or choose to go for a swim in the summer off one of the swimming docks. The free shuttle running every seven minutes will bring you to the main village and at the end of the day you can ski into the complex via the Home Run Trail. The units in this complex are roomier and have more of a cabin feel than most in Whistler.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable, except if booking can be replaced. Refunds or portions thereof will be refunded based on the number of nights rebooked & rebooked rate; refunds will be subject to a 4% cancellation fee.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We cannot be held responsible for circumstances which result in delayed arrivals
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Per email after booking.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Guest Stay Policies

Check-In Time 4:00pm. If you would like an earlier check-in, contact us and we will try to work with you as scheduling allows.
Check-Out Time 11:00am. If you need a late check-out, contact us and we will try to work with you as scheduling allows.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise Subject to eviction. Will be evicted for excessive noise, common and private property damage, disturbing the peace
Housekeeping Free Cleaning prior to arrival. Pease leave unit per addendum instructions before you leave.
Internet Availability & Usage Free wireless High Speed Internet. You will be provided with the free wireless access code with rental agreement
Liability You are responsible for loss or damages that occur as a result of your stay.

Great condo near the upper village

I just returned from a wonderful long weekend staying at The Woods. The unit is in a multi-unit condo/townhouse complex with other units above, below and next to it. It has its own entrance just off the parking lot (and includes a parking space).

The unit itself was great - in particular the kitchen was one of the better stocked kitchens I've encountered. They actually have decent knives, pots and pans and utensils! During my stay (late Feb 2016) the pantry was stocked with salt & pepper and small amounts of baking supplies, as well as a few other staples. I felt that the unit was nicely put together and well-maintained - there are new kitchen appliances, though the bathrooms and kitchen fixtures are a little dated. All in all, it's a terrific place. There is a hot tub located about 90 seconds to 2 minutes (walking) from the unit, but there's also a jacuzzi tub inside the unit.

While it's located a bit outside the main village and upper village, the unit is kind of considered ski in (I consider ski in to be when you ski from the resort to the condo), though you do have to walk across the road. Right outside the complex is a bus stop with a free shuttle to the lifts for getting there in the morning.

I would certainly recommend the property!

Ski vacation at Whistler - February 2016

Very good location in Whistler Upper Village. Shuttle bus to the slopes and village is very reliable and on time.

Check in & check out was flawless and Mike was very responsive in our communication. Property is well maintained. Bedrooms are nicely furnished and spacious. Leaving area is just enough for 4 people. Kitchen is in good order, but needs a bit of an improvement in terms of amenities and supplies.

Overall, well kept property, with full comfort for party of 4 guests. I do not have any hesitation to recommend Mike's & Diana's condo to future guests.

The Woods is an excellent accommodation for guests that want a quiet, peaceful location. This 2 bedroom, two bath apartment is well equipped and well maintained. It is also pet-friendly. The shuttle bus stop is steps away.

This was a great property. Loved the quick access to the lake and also the responsiveness of the owners. From initial questions to on-site inquiries, Mike was incredibly timely with responsiveness. It was nice to have such a wonderful, dog friendly condo.

Only random "need" was more bowls - there were only 3 or 4, so that was hard at breakfast time!

Great 2 bedroom condo close to lost lake and trails. Mike was always quick to respond to any questions. Was great to be able to bring our dog. Would have been nice to have had a pool as it was really hot but having the lake so close we just went there. We loved the window bench !! Great place to read a book and relax. Will book again when we head up to whistler. Thanks for a great stay!!

Hosts were very helpful with the reservation process and the online procedures/instructions were excellent. This is our second time staying here and we love it! The location is nice and private yet close to everything. The condo is nicely maintained. The one little picky thing was we had to go buy a sharp knife for cooking but that was it! We are hoping to stay there again. Mike is super responsive and makes us feel like we are staying in a friend's place. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Perfect Getaway

The owner Mike was very quick and accommodating to any inquiry I had from the very beginning. The property itself is very welcoming and makes you feel at home right away. It has everything needed for a family with small children, and being able to bring our four legged family member along was much appreciated. We very much enjoyed the the hot tub after a day out in the snow. Having a parking spot included and basically right in front of the door is an extra plus. Having said that, a car is really not needed as the free local bus stop is only a few steps away but far enough so not to have any traffic noise and walking to the village only takes 15 minutes. Overall we had a great experience renting this property and are already thinking about coming back.

We stayed here last weekend(FEB 1/2010). There is excitement in the air for the olympics and nobody on the mountain! We had a great time on the mountain and also staying in the Woods. The large flat panel tv was great for the movies and the huge windows were great to watch to watch the snow fall in the forest. I especially liked the padded window seat for reading. It was much better than any hotel room.
