Cancellations Made by Guests	Cancellation by Guest: All payments are non-refundable. If we can replace your booking, we will refund your money at the re-booked rate minus a 5% cancellation fee.
Delayed Arrivals	No refunds if due to travel delays, weather or other issues.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information	Guests will be met on arrival at Silverado. Access codes and instructions provided during Meet and Greet service (included in booking cost).
Guest Account Termination	The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal	The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments	Reservation will be cancelled if not paid within 14 days of due date. No refunds of prior payments.
Privacy	The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Guests agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of the Owner or their booking Contact without prior written consent from the Owner and/or Contact, except under force of law or for law enforcement purposes. Guests also agree to not use Owner or Contact personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Owners and their Contact.
Reservation Changes	Will be accepted provided the new dates are available. Money already paid will then be transferred to the new dates. If the new dates involve a chnage in booking season (rates), additional payments required and/or refunds due will apply.

Guest Stay Policies

Policy	Description
Amenity Terms of Use	Full respect should be shown to the property, Silverado, and all Policies adhered to.
Check-In Time	4pm on confirmed day of arrival. Early arrivals please enjoy the resort village until check-in.
Check-Out Time	10am. Late check-out requests will be granted when possible.
Complaints Concerning Property	Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs	Check out cleaning costs are included in booking costs. Additional cleaning expenses will be charged in addition and billed to guest credit card as per Guest Registration Form, completed at check-in.
Excessive Noise	Please lower volumes at 11pm. Neighborly consideration is important, please respect this policy.
Garbage Removal	Provided twice weekly. Contact Housekeeping for additional garbage removal.
Housekeeping	Provided twice weekly, included in booking costs. Additional housekeeping service(s) are available (including daily service) and charges apply.
Internet Availability & Usage	Wireless broadband provided. Access security key listed in Guest Directory.
Liability	The Guest making the booking is responsible and liable for all damages and for ensuring that these policies are respected and adhered to. Guest releases property owners from liability for theft or injury while in transit to the property, in the property,or on resort lands.
Locking Door	Keyless code locks on exterior doors. Code provided in Welcome Letter (placed located inside house ahead of check-in time).
Maintenance Emergencies	Contact on-site property agent. Contact numbers provided in Guest Directory.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity	A maximum of 12 guests are welcome. Strictly no more than 12 guests.
Missing Items	Are billed at replacement value. Our Property Manager inventories the property on each departure day.
Parking & Ticketing	4 off-street spaces available in driveway. Parking not securitized.
Property Damage	Credit Card details must be provided upon Check-in via Guest Registration Form. Damage billed to Guest credit card and guest notified directly. Charges applied for damages totally $25 CAD or more. Our Property Manager completes property inspection on departure day. Property damage includes: physical damage, excessive cleaning, defacing property, excessive noise, littering, lude public behavior, missing items/theft.
Rental Accommodation Zoning	4 night minimum. Shorter stays charged at 4 night rate.
Resort Information	Comprehensive Guest Directory provided. www.skisilverstar.com
Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage	Locking ski/board racks provided. Skis/boards must be stored in these exterior lockable racks.
Terms of Eviction	Breaking any of these Policies will result in eviction. No refunds provided in the case of evictions.

Guarantees Policies

Policy	Description
My Web Site Guarantee	The Owners will honour the information posted on our Ridge View property website.
Reservation Guarantee	If our property is damaged & we cannot fulfill your reservation, the reservation will be cancelled and a 100% refund provided. Owners will assume an accommodation-related relocation cost of up to $1000 CAD and will endevour to located alternate comparable accomodation.
Snow Guarantee	No guarantees are given for snow and/or weather. These are beyond our control.

A skiing enthusiast since childhood, I love the alpine environment.  Silver Star Mountain offers a truly wonderful intimate resort experience, with terrain that will satisfy every level of skier and rider.

 

Heather and I designed and built this property specifically as a vacation home/chalet.  With over 20 years experience in ski resorts we know what works and blended the best design features into Silverado.

 

Great care has been taken to ensure that this property is fully equipped and your vacation needs are well provided for.  Your enjoyment, relaxation, fun and overall experience is very important to us.
