This lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse is centrally located in Whistler Village.  With its large size, hot tub, pool, and large high definition TV, this is an excellent choice for families and groups of friends. 

Stoney Creek Sunpath is located in the heart of Whistler Village and offers: 

  • in the winter a 5 to 10 minute walk to the gondolas to up and down load from both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.
  • in the summer a short ride over to the bike park or the Valley Trail at your doorstep
  • step out the door to shops and restaurants
  • hot tub and pool open 8:30am to 10:00pm every day. 
  • on the free shuttle bus around the Village: this can be useful with small children
  • free secured reserved underground parking for 1 car;  free secured underground parking for second car first come first served. Clearance is 6'8" or 2m.

Property Description

The living room overlooks the small courtyard with the pool and hot tub, and faces east.  The dining room, which seats 7, faces south onto the balcony.  All bedrooms face south and west and do not overlook the hot tub.


You enter into a foyer with full ski and gear storage.  Take a flight of stairs up to the second floor, where all living space is located.  The kitchen, living and dining room all share a common space.  The master suite has a queen bed, TV and DVD player, and ensuite bath with tub.  The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has a bunk bed with a lower double and single upper.  There is second bath with shower stall and no tub.  The townhouse has a washer and dryer.

Living Area

Pleasant and bright living room with large windows facing east, and overlooking the small courtyard with pool and hot tub.  Seating for 6 to 8.  The room contains a corner gas fireplace and 46 inch high definition (1080p) TV with Blu-Ray DVD player.

Dining Area

The dining area is beside both the living room and kitchen, with the patio doors beside the table.  Wood table with 6 chairs.  There are 2 bar stools at the kitchen counter.


Stoney Creek Sunpath has a hot tub and small pool located in the central courtyard.  After a hot soak, relax in front the 46 inch HD TV and recover for the next day.  4 pool towels and 2 bath robes are provided during your stay for your convenience.


The hot tub and pool are normally closed after Canadian Thanksgiving and reopen just before US Thanksgiving.

Location & Map


Stoney Creek Sunpath is centrally located in Whistler Village.  Within a 5 minute walk from your door you reach all restaurants and services in the Village.   The Upper Village is about 10 minute walk.

In winter it is just more than a 5 minute walk to the gondolas for both mountains.  You can up and down load both gondolas all skiing season, giving you full skiing flexibility.  

In the summer,  it's a short ride over to the bike park.  You are within walking distance of 2 golf courses.  The Valley Trail is outside your doorstep for walking and cycling.  Swimming at Lost Lake is a 15 minute walk along the Valley Trail, so there is no need to jockey for parking.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests All deposits of 25% are non-refundable. All refunds are made by personal cheque. For reservations Nov 1- Apr 30: The deposit is non-refundable. If the balance is paid, the total amount is non refundable except if reservation is replaced. Refund equals value of reservation with which the cancelled booking is replaced minus 4% cancellation fee. May 1- Oct 31: If the balance is paid, refund of 50% minus 4% cancellation fee with minimum notice of cancellation 7 days prior to arrival date.
Delayed Arrivals There is no refund if your arrival is delayed at the last minute.

Bike Storage Secure storage in underground secured garage.
Check-In Time 4:00 pm. Please request early check-in in advance.
Check-Out Time 10:00 am. Please request late check out in advance.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs If cleaning required is more than the normal 6 hours, excess costs will be charged to the guest. Including but not limited to any cleaning needed by restoration services, a plumber, stains, odor, smoking in the unit, or cooking. Any extra cleaning costs to restore the townhouse to the same condition as it was upon check in.
Excessive Noise Will not be tolerated out of courtesy to neighbours. If excessive noise is reported, after one warning the guest will be asked to leave without reimbursement.
Forgotten Items by Guest There is a $15 charge for returning forgotten items to guests. Guests are responsible for all mailing costs for forgotten items.
Housekeeping Complimentary. For reservations of 8 nights or more, full linen change and bathroom cleaned about every fifth day during your stay. The kitchen is to be maintained by the guest.
Liability We are excluded from liability for personal bodily injury in our home, while in transit to, or while on resort property.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 hour phone support.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 9.
Property Damage Guests assume all financial responsibility for any property damage incurred by you or your guests. While no damage deposit is requested, you are financially responsible for any damage incurred by you or your guests during your stay.
Rental Accommodation Zoning Legally zoned for nightly rental.
Terms of Eviction Excessive noise, property damage, or smoking will result in eviction. No refund will be provided if you are evicted for breach of policies.

We had 2 families (4 adults 4 kids) stay at the 3 bedroom unit the last week of August. Location is ideal as you just cross the street and you're at Whistler Village.

Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Great that they had secured parking and a lockup for the bikes. The owner, Kerry, was easy to deal with. responses were quick and instructions were thorough. Nice layout on the unit. We'd definitely recommend the unit to others.

Only complaint would be the rooms weren't cleaned that well. We found underwear and socks under one of the beds. As well one of the bedroom outlets wasn't working so we had to move a lamp to another spot in the bedroom.

This was a fantastic place to stay for my moms 60th! There were 7 of us plus a baby and we all fit nicely. The access was easy, directions were clear and the house itself was well kept. The only 'complaints' would be that the sofa bed was very uncomfortable - almost taco like where everything meets in the middle and it was a quite musty smelling, and the pool area was quite messy - a stag had left pizza one day and watermelon the other day floating around and it hadn't been cleaned up very well. But the location is amazing, steps away from the village and yet very serene. I would definitely book this unit again!

We stayed here for a long weekend for our annual Whistler ski trip with friends, and really liked the place!

Some of our favorite things:
- Convenient location: short walk to lifts, although if you're walking in ski boots, the rental lockers at Carleton Lodge are well worth the $8/day to stash your comfy shoes while you ski
- Clean throughout with easy access/entry
- Secured parking with ability to park 2 cars was awesome!
- Well equipped kitchen in terms of appliances, pots & pans, plates, and flatware
- Living/dining room were spacious and comfortable for our group of 7 adults

Some minor things that we wish were a bit better:
- Beds/mattresses were a bit uncomfortable... seemed kinda low quality
- Water heater seemed to run out after 3-4 showers, so we had to plan showers accordingly to avoid showering in cold water

Overall a good value, and we would consider staying here again in the future.

Great location, check in was straight forward. The unit is well laid out, comfortable for a 3 bedroom. However, the carpeting is soiled & in need of replacement. As well, the bedding in the master bedroom is old & in need of replacement. We would stay at Sunpath again but not in this unit unless improvements are made. Sorry, but that's our honest opinion.

Good place to stay in Whistler

We were a family of 9 staying here between Christmas and New Year weekends. The condo was tight for us (though acceptable) but would be perfect for a slightly smaller group. The rooms were adequate, two bedrooms with large beds for two each, a room with bunks for three and a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen was well equipped, but quite bare when we arrived, meaning we had to shop for everything from the basics on. However, they were kind enough to have provided coffee and creamer - so we were able to make a cup when we got in cold. Note that the condo does not have a garbage disposall- so you have to be careful in not allowing the garbage to go clog up the pipes.

The garage facility was good and secure but lugging suitcases to the apartment requires negotiating two flights of stairs (one in the garage, one in the condo)and dragging them along a winding walkway mercifully not very long. Not an issue for groups of young folks, but my party had a couple of oldies (including me) who struggled with this.

The location is perfect and we hardly used the cars. Either you can walk to the lifts (15 mins) or take the free shuttle from just in front of the condo complex. Shops are close by as well. The stay was very comfortable and Ms. Wallace was very prompt and helpful when we needed information or help.

Only significant limitation we faced was the limited size of the hot water supply - it was common to routinely run out of hot water after just a couple of bathers even when we tried to be very cautious in the use of hot water. We understand from Ms. Wallace that this is due to the limited space in the closet where the heater is, but nevertheless it was something that we had to watch for after the first couple of times that someone was surprised by cold water in the middle of a shower !!

Overall, good value, nice facilities and great location. And good attentive service when we needed it. Thank you, Kerry !!

Fantastic place!!!!! This is a 10 plus! It is all on one floor and it is huge! It is close to everything and I can't imagine a better place to stay!

A fantastic place to share with your friends or family! We had 5 people across 3 bedrooms and it was great. Easy walking distance to lifts and access to whostler village. Very reasonable price. The apartment had all the kitchen and bedroom/bathroom facilities needed. The only small annoyance was that the hot water ran out very quickly with 5 ppl, however in saying that it seemed to refill after not too long. Staggering our showers seemed to get around this problem no worries. Overall a top place!

Only small criticism is the lighting... it is quite poor, and the suite gets little direct light so it's a bit dark. Otherwise, we had a great time! Thanks to the owners of this great property!

We had friends stay in Sunpath in 2014 and we purposely sought a unit in this complex because we were impressed with the services it offered, its proximity to the bus transport and the supermarket and its short-walking distance to either the Village Stroll or the Upper Village gondola. We were not disappointed and would be very likely to book again in this complex. No. 40 has ground floor entry and the bedroom living space on the floor above. The 3 bedrooms; a queen, a double and a bunk room with a double and single suited our group of 5 well. Though the double bedroom was cosy and only had hanging space - no set of drawers. the other two bedrooms had both plenty of drawers and hanging space. The kitchen area works well, though the lighting could be improved and the addition of some larger bowls for fruit or salad would be beneficial - otherwise the kitchen is well stocked. the dining area seats 6 comfortably. The living area was spacious with ample seating and plenty of lovely sunshine flooding in during the day. From the front window, you can see the pool area, up the mountain and across to the bus stop directly opposite (which is wonderful because you drop off and pick up the No. 4 free shuttle only minutes from your door). Whilst the unit is close to the pool/spa area, the 9.30pm curfew ensures any partying doesn't keep you awake. We were aware of activity in the pool/spa area but it was never loud enough to cause nuisance or disturbance.

We arrived to find a spacious, well furnished condo - that was well stocked with dishes/cookware, etc. Even basics such as sugar, coffee and basic condiments were there!!!! This was a very last minute arrangement and exceeded our expectations.

The condo was very clean and organized. The location was great, being across the street from the main village area as well as walking distance to the grocery store, etc. Having an upstairs condo was nice so we didn't get noise from many neighbours. The condo slept our family of 5 comfortably. The pool/hot tub area was nice and cleaned every morning. The bike locker was convenient and having a parking stall near the stairwell was great. It would be nice to provide guests with 2 keys and 2 FOBs.

40 Sunpath, Stoney Creek is in a great location, close to supermarket, restaurants and a short walk to the main village and lifts. For our group of 6 it was very comfortable and well appointed. It has a real homely feel. Communication with Kerry was easy and efficient.

The house is perfect for what we needed! We were a group of 8 in our mid-late 20s and the flat was ideal. 10 minutes away from the bustle and hustle of the village but in a beautiful quiet area. Fireplace was a great addition and the kitchen a decent size, uncommon in many ski resorts, with all the appliances one could need. We love cooking so we made some wonderful apr├Ęs-ski dinners and the dining/living room is big enough to have guests over if you don't mind taking turns on the table! Kerry also provided some very good tips like ordering groceries online so that everything was there when we arrived. House comes with individual thermostats for each room and 2 bathrooms so no fights over showers!

The location was ideal and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We where originally booked to stay in Canmore but due to the flooding we had to make last minute arrangements for an alternative venue. Kerry the owner was very accommodating send us lots of e mails with detail of how to get to Whistler and where the best supermarket was. The accommodation it's self was first class there where 6 adults and my 5 year old grand child. The bedrooms were all an good size and the lounge had plenty of seating for all of us. The swimming pool and hot tub were a great asset as the temperature hit 37 one day, My granddaughter spent lots of time in the pool. We had the complex almost to ourselves during the week but weekends got a little bit busier. All the people we meet on the complex were very friendly and gave us lots of advice on places to visit. Will definitely stay there again

we stayed here for a week with parents over 70s and 2 kids, very good location. Kids are very happy in the outdoor hot tub. Close to the supermarket. Walking distance to the Gondolar. Bed rooms little bit small, but sitting room is ok and the kichen is very good.

We stayed in the Stoney Creek Sunpath for 3 nights, we were 8. Everything was perfect! the appartment is very comfortable. The pictures do not represent well what it's really like, it's much nicer in real. No trouble finding the place, the information given was very precise. Very close to whistler Village, we did not use the car at all during our stay. I would definitly stay there again!

We had a family vacation (6 adults & 2 kids) and we were pleasantly surprised by the great floorplan of this rental! It completely met if not exceeded our expectations. Location was fantastic. The kitchen was well stocked with all the basics and had nice newer appliances. We had a chance to meet & speak to the property Manager and she was very helpful & friendly :)

We had a great stay at 40 Sunpath and would recommend this place to other guests. Worked great for 6 adults, would also work for 4 adults and ~2 children fairly easily. I would not push to 8, as things like bathroom and kitchen get fairly crowded! Hot tub, pool and garage are easy to access. Walking distance (5 minutes) to main village.

The townhouse is spacious and the open layout is great. We had everything we needed for cooking, etc. The beds are decent. The hot tub and the pool are just a few steps away and it worked just fine. It takes about 5-7 min to get to the main gondolas. I cannot think of any downsides. We are likely to come back to this place in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Its best quality was its proximity to town - only a 5 minute walk. The condo itself was very comfortable and clean. The bedrooms are a little small, but I think that's standard for a ski village. The living area is generous and the pool and hot tub were fantastic amenities. The manager was helpful and responsive.

Fantastic trip. Stayed during Crankworx. For what we payed we all felt it was great value for money (4 of us - room each) - For us the location was the main sell and didnt disappoint - it is literally a 5 minute walk to the main lifts and even less to the supermarkets and other amenities. The unit was clean and perfect for what we wanted. Planning another trip next year and would definitely stay again.

We rented the townhouse for a weekend of snowboarding at Blackcomb. The location was about 10 minutes away from the gondolas which wasn't too bad. The property was a decent size, and had pretty much all the basic necessities. The furniture/decor is quite dated however.
