 Welcome!

Our ski-in/ski-out  PET FRIENDLY  Stones Throw unit is a short walk to the main village which offers shopping, dining and various forms of entertainment. It is ideally equipped for 4 to 6 adults and one very lucky pooch. We don't just 'allow' your pet to stay in our luxurious condo, we welcome him/her!

Stones Throw is a family-oriented complex with spectacular views of Mt. Morrisey and Tod Mountain. Ski-in/ski out right to/from your front door. Watch the skiers from your private hot tub. How good is that?!  

Don't forget to take in the Farmer's Market every Sunday during the summer, as well as the various festivals and events throughout the year. Sun Peaks is world renowned for its Wine Festival each January. The snow fun starts in November on opening day and doesn't end until April with the Slush Cup. You'll be amazed by some of the costumes.

What is the best thing about skiing at Sun Peaks?  No lift lines! You can enjoy miles of great skiing without having to wait in long lines. Once you vacation at Sun Peaks, you may find it hard to vacation at any other ski resort. In fact, you may decide, as we did, to become a local and move here permanently. 

 One more thing: NO GST/HST, NO HOTEL TAX!  Gotta love that!

Non-Smokers Only No. No Way. No How. Simply not allowed. Evidence of smoking will result in additional cleaning charges levied against guest's credit card.
Pets One dog - subject to prior approval. Prior approval required. Pets are not allowed on the beds under any circumstance. We do not impose an additional charge for your pet, but we reserve the right to deduct a cleaning fee from your damage deposit if there are pet stains on the carpet or furniture, or if there is an excessive amount of pet hair in the condo. Spot cleaner and a vacuum cleaner are in the unit to assist you in keeping the unit pet hair and stain free. Dogs that behave aggressively, or certain breeds, are not permitted due to insurance/liability issues. Puppies that are not housebroken are not allowed.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests Deposits are non-refundable. Payments, less a processing fee, may be refunded if a replacement booking is found.
Courtesy Hold Reservations We do not hold reservation without payment. Payment is required for reservation confirmation.
Delayed Arrivals We are not responsible for delayed arrivals. No refunds will be given.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information We will email instructions in advance of your stay. Available after final payment is received.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Guest Stay Policies

Policy Description
Amenity Terms of Use Private Hot Tub. The hot tub is designed for 4 adults. Exceeding that number will result in water overflow. If the water falls below the jets, damage to the pump may occur. Renters will be held financially responsible if this takes place. Food is not allowed in the hot tub. Children must be supervised at all times when using the hot tub. No Exceptions.
Check-In Time 4:00 PM. Early check-in possible, if we are able to accommodate. Please call.
Check-Out Time 10:00 AM. Later check out may be available. Please call.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs If the cleaners require more than the normal time allotted for a 'clean', the additional costs will be passed on to the guest.
Excessive Noise May result in eviction without refund. Please respect your neighbor's right to peace and quiet.
Forgotten Items by Guest Items left behind by a guest will be returned to the guest at their cost, if requested.
Garbage Removal Garbage can be dropped off free of charge at the transfer station on Industrial Drive, at the entrance to Sun Peaks. Hours of operation are posted in the condo. Housekeeping will empty the regular garbage from the kitchen and bathrooms upon departure. If you need garbage removed during your stay, it can be arranged for a fee. Contact the owner - telephone and email contact information are posted in the condo.
Housekeeping Housekeeping will clean unit upon departure. Daily checks will be done for hot tub sanitization and water balancing. If cleaning is required during your stay, it can be arranged for a fee. If the unit is left excessively dirty, a deduction may be made from your damage deposit refund to compensate the cleaners for the extra time spent cleaning.
Internet Availability & Usage High speed internet available in unit.
Liability Guest responsibility. Owner will not be held responsible for any accident or injury while on the premises. Parents are responsible for the actions of their children.
Locking Door Coded access. Changed after each departure.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 hour, by cell phone. Number will be provided with check-in package.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 6 people. No exceptions.
Missing Items Items removed from the condo by the guest will be replaced at the guest's cost.
Noise Restrictions 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please respect your neighbor's right to peace and quiet. If you use the hot tub during these hours, do so quietly.
Parking & Ticketing Underground Secured. One reserved space, guest parking is available, but is limited.
Policy Updates Use of Hot Tub by Children. Children must be supervised at all times when using the hot tub. No Exceptions.
Property Damage A $500 damage deposit is required with rental deposit. The damage deposit will be refunded within 4 days of guest's departure, subject to deductions for damage, missing items, extra cleaning, etc.
Rental Accommodation Zoning Condo is zoned for nightly rentals.
Resort Information Provided on arrival. Information provided in unit.
Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage Private, locking storage. Please use the storage locker provided. Damage to unit as a result of bringing sports equipment into the condo will be charged back to the renter.
Terms of Eviction Failure to comply with policies will result in immediate eviction. No Refund - period!
