Our PET FRIENDLY Stones Throw unit is ideally equipped for 4 adults and one very lucky pooch. We don't just 'allow' your pet to stay in our luxurious condo, we welcome him/her!
This is a quiet top floor unit. You won't have to listen to footsteps above you.
If you like to cook, you're going to love my well-equipped kitchen. High-end cookware, top quality appliances, and SHARP knives - things I can't live without so I wouldn't expect you to.
Enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Morrisey from your private hot tub. This condo has one of the best ski-in/ski-out locations on the mountain - great for snowboarders as well as skiers - downhill all the way to the Mt. Morrisey lift. The return trip is an easy and fun ski-in from Sundance.
Don't forget to take in the Farmer's Market every Sunday throughout the summer, as well as various festivals and events throughout the year. Sun Peaks is world renowned for its Wine Festival each January.
The snow fun starts in November on opening day and doesn't end until April with the Slush Cup. You'll be amazed by some of the costumes. What is the best thing about skiing at Sun Peaks? No lift lines! You can enjoy miles of great skiing without having to wait in long lines. Sun Peaks is the training destination of choice for the Austrian Ski Team. If you don't downhill, why not give our miles of Nordic ski track a try. We also have great showshoe trails, an ice skating rink, and an outdoor swimming pool that is open year round. A really fun experience is the dog sled adventure. You can even hitch a ride on the grooming cats. There is plenty to do for all ages and abilities.
Spring brings some fantastic opportunities for wildlife sightings. Keep your eyes peeled and cameras ready to capture images of bears, deer, fox, rabbits and birds.
In summer, Sun Peaks is a golfer's paradise. Our course has some of the most spectacular scenery in BC. If you like mountain biking, Sun Peaks is a great choice. There are miles of trails for all abilities. If you haven't hiked our alpine in August, you don't know what you're missing. The abundance of colorful wildflowers is a stunning sight to behold.
Don't forget to give some of our great restaurants a try. Just ask any of the locals for a recommendation.
Once you vacation at Sun Peaks, you may find it hard to vacation at any other year-round resort. In fact, you may decide, as we did, to become a local and move here permanently.

|Garbage Removal||Garbage can be dropped off free of charge at the transfer station on Industrial Drive, at the entrance to Sun Peaks. Hours of operation are posted in the condo. If you need garbage removed during your stay, it can be arranged for a fee. Contact the owner - telephone and email contact information are posted in the condo.|
|Housekeeping||Housekeeping will clean unit upon departure. Daily checks will be done for hot tub sanitization and water balancing. If cleaning is required during your stay, it can be arranged for a fee. If the unit is left excessively dirty, a deduction may be made from your damage deposit refund to compensate the cleaners for the extra time spent cleaning.|
|Internet Availability & Usage||High speed wireless internet available in unit.|
|Liability||Guest responsibility. Owner will not be held responsible for any accident or injury while on the premises. Guests are responsible for notifying the owner of any damage noted upon arrival or during their stay.|

We purchased our Stones Throw unit in 2007 with the intention of using it ourselves during non-peak times, and making it available to consciencious guests during peak periods. We enjoyed being in Sun Peaks so much that we sold our home on the lower mainland and decided to make Sun Peaks our permanent home. We purchased a unit in Bridgegate which is where we currently live. We are just around the corner from Stones Throw and are able to provide a quick response to our guests in the event of a concern.
