Ridge View is a beautiful  Premium ski in ski out Vacation Home located at the base of the Alpine Meadows Quad Chairlift. Your home away from home offers inspiring views of the ski runs directly from the living room. Ridge View's amenities will relax and comfort you, from the private outdoor hot-tub & heated boot and drying room to relaxing in front of the fireplace. 

This luxury property provides wonderful slope side living with separate areas for both the adults and the children,  giving each their own space to relax.

This spacious home offers 2 Queen Rooms, Bunk Room with 4 beds, a Double Bedroom and a separate TV/games room with cable TV & PS2.   You will find a fully equipped kitchen and open plan dining area which seats 12 people.  The living area has floor to ceiling windows with views directly up the mountain. There are 3 bathrooms a separate laundry, heated drying room and a private outdoor hot tub, ski/board lockers, wireless internet connection and complimentary housekeeping.

Ski-in/Ski-out slopeside access to the Alpine Meadows quad chairlift and just a few minutes level stroll to all that Silver Star has to offer - the village center and the adventure park with tubing, ice skating,  skidooing and X Country trails.  

Complimentary Housekeeping and Guided Mountain Tour from your chalet is all included in the rental rate.

Rental Skis and Poles are available on request and will be delivered to your vacation home.

 Main/Entertaining Level

The main floor is designed for living and entertaining with a contemporary large open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining and living areas. All these areas have magnificent moutain views through the floor to ceiling picture windows.There is a built in sound system and TV on this main level.

A separate TV room with cable, DVD player, PS2 + games and stereo hifi provide a separate area for relaxation....  The enclosed laundry area, a 2 piece powder room and separate heated drying room are also on this level.

There is an outdoor natural gas BBQ  located on the deck outside the kitchen

On this level are two Queen bedrooms, one with full ensuite. There is as a large Bunk Bedroom with Double / Single and Single / Single bunk beds, with a full bathroom opposite the Queen and the Bunk Rooms on this level . The separate 4th Bedroom has a computer desk, cable TV,  and a full size futon bed.

Private Rear Deck Facilities

The heated ski-in/ski-out entry / boot room leads directly on the ski trail and is just a few metres away from the Alpine Meadows quad chairlift.  The 8 person Hot Tub and Ski lockers are also located on the private rear deck.

great place gather and prepare wonderful meals.

This large open plan kitchen provides everything you need in a mountain vacation home.  Plenty of space for family & friends to gather.  The large, long counters are wonderful for preparing meals and provides extra seating at the breakfast bar.

Fully equipped with all appliances from the double door fridge to microwave.  You will also be delighted that everything you need is provided, coffee, tea, sugar, flour, spice racks,  cooking utensils, pots & pans and so much more.

Enough Crockery and Cutlery to plate up for 12 people with another 12 settings ready to use when the dishwasher is full.

Bottled Water is complimentary in the large dispenser in the home.

The matching timber kitchen and dining setting flow together beautifully in this open plan area.  With eating bars and stolls at either end of the kitchen there is always plenty of room to have everyone a part of the action but not in the way.

Close by, the Gas BBQ (plumbed into gas line), is located on the covered deck.  BBQ cooking always adds flavor to any holiday and as the gas is plumbed into the house supply, you'll  never run out of propane.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Arrival Days Guests can arrive on any day of the week. There are no arrival day restrictions.
Cancellations Made by Guests Cancellation by Guest: All payments are non-refundable. If we can replace your booking, we will refund your money at the re-booked rate minus a 4% cancellation fee.
Courtesy Hold Reservations For maximum fairness we operate on a first come first serve basis and do not. The first party to book the property by clicking RESERVE NOW gets the dates in question.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds if due to travel delays, weather or other issues.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Please contact Property Manager upon arrival and for on-site met and greet on arrival at Ridge View. Access codes and instructions provided in Welcome Letter (placed located inside house ahead of check-in timel).
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Guest Stay Policies

Amenity Terms of Use Full respect should be shown to the property, Silverado, and all Policies adhered to.
Check-In Time 4pm on confirmed day of arrival. Early arrivals please enjoy the resort village until check-in.
Check-Out Time 10am. Late check-out requests will be granted when possible.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Check out cleaning costs are included in booking costs. Additional cleaning expenses will be charged in addition and billed to guest credit card as per Guest Registration Form, completed on check-in.
Excessive Noise This is a family-oriented, quiet development. Noise complaints may result in eviction by local police or security personnel .
Garbage Removal Provided twice weekly. Contact Housekeeping for additional garbage removal.
Housekeeping Provided twice weekly, included in booking costs. Additional housekeeping service(s) are available (including daily service) and charges apply.
Internet Availability & Usage Wireless broadband provided. Access username and security key listed in Guest Directory.

 My partner, Heather, completed an extensive renovation of Ridge View to fully update the property fro your enjoyment.. With over 20 years experience in ski resorts we know what works and blended these features into this home.

Great care has been taken to ensure that this property is fully equipped and your vacation needs are well provided for. Your enjoyment, relaxation, fun and overall experience is very important to us.

Our Property Manager is on-site and makes sure that the property is always fully prepared for your arrival and throughout your stay.

We had a great 4 days at Vista Lodge on the slopes of Silver Star. Sunshine, fresh snow, no crowds - the skiing was great, and the cabin fit our needs perfectly. Spacious enough for our two families, walking distance to the centre, well equipped kitchen ... if only we could figure out how to keep the hot tub super hot in -10. We will be back.

Empty Hot tub

I was extremly disappointed to arrive late Thursday night to an empty hot tub. After leaving a message with the property manager some one came to fill the hot tub friday morning. We were told it would need 7 hours to fill up and at 11pm it was still too cold.

Hello Tracy, I would like to apologize that the hot tub at Ridgeview was not up and running for your arrival. The message we sent to our Hot Tub service provider was that it be up and running for your arrival on Thursday. We generally shut down the hot tubs over the summer and have them serviced due to the fact that rentals are spasmodic over this period. Some summer guests request them to be up and running and others don't. We usually charge an additional start up fee in summer as it is expensive to fill the tub start it up and then shut it down for a 4 night stay . We decided that we would not charge you this fee, however this backfired on us with the message not reaching the Hot Tub service provider in time. A great location and good value

Place was great! Couple of issues were we found out when we got there that the hot tub wasn't running apparently you need to request the hot tub to be ready. Stereo needs tobe replaced (sound was cutting in and out). Nice and clean otherwise. My opinion on the hot tub is it needs to be replaced as it is probably original with the build of the property.
