Property Description

Offering a spectacular resort lifestyle, this extraordinary 2,000 sq. ft. Penthouse has everything for a memorable vacation.  Walk into a generous foyer with plenty of closet space, then move into the great room.  All wood, post and beam 24 ft. high cathedral ceiling and windows.  Two sided gas fireplace is another focal point situated in the middle of the living room with pool table behind.  Contemporary furniture to lounge in while watching the fire or a DVD on the Plasma TV.  Kitchen is to one side of the great room with Shaker style cabinets and long breakfast nook which carries onto the dining area that seats 10.  The covered balcony off the living room features a private hot tub and BBQ.  Walking past the kitchen you enter in the bedroom and bathroom area.  On the left is the main bathroom and 3rd bedroom that sleeps 5, on the right is the Master bedroom with another gas fireplace, Ensuite with Steam shower and high vaulted ceiling.  Carry on to the Guest Suite that sleeps 6 with private Ensuite with full bath tub and it's very own private entrance plus another private balcony.  This Penthouse is fabulous, a dream come true.

Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Amenity Terms of Use Please respect all private and common amenities of the property. Damage or excessive cleaning to any amenity will be charged to the Guest responsible.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Standard departure cleaning is complimentary. Cleaning associated with defacing the property, or above the standard fees is considered property damage.
Excessive Noise Complaints of excessive noise will result in eviction without refund!. Please be considerate of your neighbours
Garbage Removal Guests are responsible for garbage removal at the time of departure. Garbage and recycling facilities are provided in garage located in center of the parking lot.
Housekeeping Cleaning after departure is included; in addition, guests staying 10 nights or more receive a complimentary change of towels and bed linens every 8th day. Additional housekeeping can be arranged for a fee
Internet Availability & Usage Wireless internet access is provided by a third party. We cannot be held responsible if there is a lack of or quality of service at any time.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm or any property damage suffered or caused by any guests or their guests while they are staying at our property or while visiting Big White Ski Resort.
Maintenance Emergencies In resort support provided. Complete emergency contacts provided for booked guests.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 14 people. Additional persons will result in immediate eviction
Missing Items Guests authorize credit card charge for replacement of missing items.
Noise Restrictions Quiet time is 11:00 pm to 7:00am. Guests may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for any damages resulting form the noise complaints. The outdoor hot tub area may be used after 11:00pm, but please engage only in quiet conversation after 11:00pm out of respect for our neighbouring guests.
Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice, however guests will be notified via e-mail of changes prior to their arrival.
Property Damage Guest assumes all financial responsibility for property damage incurred by tenants or guests & authorizes up to a $1,000.00 CAD charge on their card upon departure in the event of property damage. By accepting our guest stay contract with online payment you agree to pay us for all damages that you incur. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges,lost or broken or missing common or private property items,smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.

Terms of Eviction The following conditions and circumstances will result in eviction from our property: smoking, excessive noise, pets, more overnight guests than permitted by owner. You will be evicted for excessive noise, common and private property damage, disturbing the peace.

About Us

Steve and Merrilee and our two children welcome you to our home in Big White.  After a few trips to Big White it was clear this would be our destination of choice for our family ski holidays and we are very pleased to have been able to purchase this unit.  This is an ideal location as after skiing our children (10 &12) can make their way to the village or tubing while Merrilee and I sit on the balcony and enjoy a glass of wine.  Merrilee is an avid cook so you will find a well appointed kitchen and we encourage all our guests to take advantage of that.  Cappuccinos in the morning are a must for us so you will find a Nespresso Lattissima in the bar area and we are happy to provide you with a supply of coffee for the duration of your stay.  Although this is our home, rest assured we have professional management in place to ensure you are well looked after during your stay.  We welcome you to our home in Big White.

Great Ski accomodation

This unit is spectacular and I should know I work in the ski business and have seen it all. The condo is well appointed, has spectacular views of the mountains and is extremely convenient to the ski runs and the village via the gondola which runs right by it. The place sleeps 10 comfortably and the hot tub is very inviting after a great day on the slopes. If you are thinking of a ski vacation at Big White I would highly recommend this South Point penthouse for families or just a group of guys on a ski trip.

No Better Place to Stay at Big White!

I have skied most resorts in Western Canada, but it was my first time to Big White. Very impressed with the skiing and the resort itself...arguably the best snow I've had the privilege to carve in 25 + years. I stayed at this stunning South Point Penthouse condo in March of 2014 with 7 buddies for a skiing vacation, and was absolutely amazed with all aspects of the accommodation. It is a true ski in-ski out location, situated just moments away from the village. This unit is very large, and very well appointed...even nicer than my home! It is more than ample for 2 families, perhaps even 3. The kitchen is gorgeous and the dining room has space for 10 at the table. Living area and wet bar, pool table, deck with 8 person hot tub is all there...even an expresso/latte machine with all the supplies! There are 3 bedrooms and even with the 8 guys, we all had our own bed, all of which were comfortable and provided and excellent rest. There are 3 full bathrooms, laundry and plenty of storage for all the equipment. Our car even had heated indoor parking. This is a sweet place (the best accommodation I've had at any ski resort by far) and I can't wait to take my family next year...we have booked already!

What a great chalet. I had the pleasure of three days of spring skiing here and can't wait to come back. This place is spacious and immaculate, perfect for an extended family, or two families sharing together. The back bedrooms are really nice with their own bathroom and could accommodate 3-4 kids, the master is nicer than many luxury hotels and the main living space allows for some great apres-ski relaxing, a little billiards and a soak in the 8-person hot-tub. Kitchen is well laid out for two people to cook together so we ate almost all of our meals in before taking advantage of the ski-in/ski-out access. I really can't wait to visit again and would just stay here.

I've ski'd many Big Mountains over the years, and this was by far the best accomodation I've ever stayed at. From the ski out 100 feet away to the Gondola that takes you to the village for access to all Big White Mountains restaurants and lifts, to the Ski In right to your door, it was effortless getting on and off the mountain. Pictures tell most of the story, but it's ease of access to everything that makes it such as special place. The extra high ceilings, hot tub and billiards and wet bar for evening R&R;, to phenomenal kitchen and eating arrangements, it's a special place just to kick back with friends and family. When it's time to sleep, the bedroom accomodations make sleeping a pure pleasure - lots of space and privacy for families as small as 4 or as large as 10! This was my 1st time to Big White, and as good as the Mountain was, the accomodations were better. Can't say enough.

Just returned from a 7 night stay in this fabulous 3 brm condo. The three large bedrooms were perfect for 4 adults and three children (or even more!), each having their own bathroom, TV and ameninites. This place is a true ski-in-ski-out with only a 50 ft walk from the third floor penthouse door to the elevator and down to the maintained access where you can ski to Happy Valley and the gondola...you will be on the slopes in minutes. You also have access to tubing, ice climbing, snowmobiliing, tobagganing etc all from the base at Happy Valley Lodge (with awesome local/craft beers and the best nachos in the area). From the pre-stocked espresso/latte maker to the panini press, this place truly had it all! The kids loved the pool table and everyone enjoyed the large hot tub after a long day of skiing. This place was so perfect for our holiday that I booked it again when I return to Big White to skii with the boys in a few weeks. I would highly recommend this wonderful condo for any large family or two families to share.

Penthouse at Southpoint is absolute Big White perfection!

We travelled to Big White with our extended family for Christmas 2013 and chose the penthouse at for it's fabulous location, plenty of space and ample bedding. Not only did our rental exceed our expectations in every way, the care and attention paid by both the property manager, and the property owner makes the penthouse at Southpoint an outstanding choice for anyone travelling to Big White with their friends or family. The kitchen is stocked with just about every gadget, utensil, cooking appliance (love the slowcooker for easy hot lunches right off the hill), spices/herbs, and everything else you need to make your visit stress free. Not once while cooking for 9 did I think 'darn I wish they had...', not once. The Nespresso machine, fully stocked, was a fantastic touch. I really can't say enough about the property, the owners, or the management, but rest assured, if you pick the penthouse at Southpoint, you will not be thrilled.
