Bienvenue!  Welcome to our vacation home in Mont Tremblant!

We are located in the Intrawest Borealis complex, overlooking the 9th green of Tremblant's Championship Le Diable golf course.  The club house and 1st tee are directly across the street from the Borealis complex. We are only 5 minutes from the Pedestrian Village /Ski lifts (complimentary shuttle available) of Mont Tremblant.

Property Description

Our vacation home is a two storey townhome located on the 9th green of Le Diable Golf course.  The first floor has a living room with a sofa bed, dining room, powder room and full kitchen on the first floor.   The 2nd storey has 3 bedrooms.  The master bedroom has a king bed with ensuite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has 2 twin sized beds.  There is also a laundry room, and full bathroom on the 2nd floor. There is a large deck overlooking 9th green with a barbeque and a private, heated garage with driveway for parking.  The townhome is approximately 1280 sq. feet.

Full-sized kitchen with full-sized range, fridge, dishwasher and microwave.  Kitchen also has an eating bar at the counter with three stools. Plenty of storage cupboards.  Kitchen is equipped with all basic cooking utensils needed for cooking a meal.  Plates, cups, glasses etc. are provided.

Comfortable living area with large windows facing the 9th hole of the championship  Le Diable golf course.
L-shape couch pulls out into a  double bed.   There is a 32 inch television., dvd player, stereo and a wood-burning fireplace.

Location

Borealis is a small community which is part of the Intrawest resort.  Borealis is located directly opposite the Club house of the championship Le Diable golf course.  It's serene and quiet atmosphere is a nice contrast from the noise often found around the village.  Yet we are only a short 5 minute drive to the Pedestrian village where you will find shopping, cafes, and restaurants.  A shuttle from the Borealis complex is available to take you to the Pedestrian village if you prefer. Other amenities which are located close by:

  • 5 minutes to the Tremblant ski lifts
  • 5 minutes to Gray  Rocks
  • 5 minutes to the original, quaint old village of Mont Tremblant
  • 10  minutes to  St. Jovite
  • 15 minutes toMont Blanc
  • 20 minutes to Mont Tremblant Provincial Park

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Policies:
Arrival Days Owners need at least 72 hrs advanced notice of arrival. Bookings can not be guaranteed and may be cancelled if this week's notice is not given.
Cancellations Made by Guests Prior to 45 days of arrival there will be a full refund. Otherwise, refund will be based on the # of nights that we can rebook. There is a 5% transaction fee for money refunded. There will be a 5% Cancellation Fee.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Full information to be emailed to the guests upon full payment. Includes directions,access code, and pertinent check-in, check-out information.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Not permitted. Late payments will result in cancellation of booking without refund.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Guests agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of the Owner or their booking Contact without prior written consent from the Owner and/or Contact, except under force of law or for law enforcement purposes. Guest Stay Policies

Policies:
Bike Storage Bikes can be stored in the garage. Bikes are NOT permitted in the townhouse unit.
Check-In Time 4 PM.
Check-Out Time 10:30 AM.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs To be deducted from the security/damage deposit.
Excessive Noise This is a family-oriented, quiet development. Please keep noise levels at a minimum. Fines/eviction may result for those who cause excessive noise. Guests are also responsible for fines levied agains the Owner as result of noise bylaw infringements by the Guest. Normal conversation pitch is accepted. Continued screaming, yelling and/or swearing is not. The Owner will not refund evicted Guests.
Garbage Removal Please make sure all garbage /recycling is removed upon check-out. There are several bins located throughout the complex.
Housekeeping There is no daily housekeeping. Cleaning is provided before and after your stay. Can be arranged for an additional fee.
Internet Availability & Usage WiFi is available for a cost from outside provider. Need to provide own laptop.
Liability The Guest doing the booking is responsible and liable for all damages for ensuring that these policies are respected and adhered to. Guest releases property owners from liability for theft or injury while in transit to the property, in the property,or on resort lands
Locking Door Key instructions to be given upon payment in full.
Maintenance Emergencies Names and phone numbers are provided with Check-in instructions.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 8 person maximum. You will be asked to leave if you exceed this. Stricly enforced.
Missing Items Guests will assume costs of replacing items that are missing upon the Guest departure Costs to be taken from damage deposit.
Noise Restrictions Excessive noise past 11pm will not be tolerated. Security will ask you to vacate if you are too noisy.
Parking & Ticketing Parking is strictly forbidden on the common laneways throughout the Borealis complex. If you park in these laneways, your car will be towed. Parking is available in the garage and in the driveway in front of the garage ( room for 3 cars). General parking is available in the visitor parking areas throughout the complex, but these fill up fast.
Property Damage Damage deposit in effect. Damage of common or private property includes: physical damage, excessive cleaning, defacing property, excessive noise, littering, lude public behavior, missing items/theft. A damage deposit of up to $500 will be secured against credit card but only charged if damage is discovered upon departure inspection. Owners have the right to request this by cheque prior to arrival.
Rental Accommodation Zoning Short and long term rentals.
Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage Space in private, heated garage for ski and snowboard storage. Garage can be locked. Please do not bring equipment into the townhouse unit.
Terms of Eviction Smoking, pets, excessive noise, threat of common or private property damage, disturbing the peace; excess of 8 overnight occupants without prior agreement with owner. All evictions will result in a full loss of lodging and tax payment and quite possibly a portion or all of damage deposit.

We live in Markham, Ontario and discovered Mont Tremblant approximately 5 years ago.  We fell in love with the beauty of the area, the year-round activities and the culture.  This is the reason we decided to buy a vacation home in Mont Tremblant.
