We love Whistler and invite you to stay in our home.  Whistler is a year around vacation destination you will surely enjoy.  Our home provides comfort with all amenities in a great location.  We keep our home in great condition, clean, and updated.  Our location is superb.  We receive many compliments on our home.  You will not be disappointed.

Northstar is a gorgeous up to date complex  in a perfect location.  Situated at the edge of Whistler Village across the street from restaurants, groceries, shops, and recreation.   Any time of year you are within easy access to recreation at Whistler.

Property Description

The unit is on the ground floor accessed by a keyless coded lock.  The entry is a separate room with ski storage, laundry facilities, closet, and hooks for wet ski clothes.  Walk down the hall and the bedroom is on your right and bathroom is on your left.  Continue to the living area with the fully equipped kitchen on your left and separate eating space off the kitchen.  There are large windows in the living area over looking the private deck with seating and gas barbecue.

Our townhome is the perfect place to stay in Whistler with many special features.  The location is superb with groceries, shops, restaurants, entertainment, and recreation all steps away.  The large pool and hot tub are great fun year around.  The unit is comfortable, clean, and a quiet place to enjoy Whistler.

Bike Storage Locked area provided in secured underground garage. No bikes in unit.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests authorize this charge. Will be applied if unit is left excessively dirty or stained.
Excessive Noise Results in eviction by 24 hour security. Noise by-law restricts any loud noise after 10:00 p.m. NO refunds given. Excessive noise and/or disturbing the peace will result in eviction without refund
Garbage Removal Please remove garbage upon your departure. A key will be provided to access the garbage.
Housekeeping Provided at end of stay. Additional cleanings may be scheduled at guests expense for longer stays.
Liability Excluded from liability. The owner is not responsible for any personal injury or property loss of a guest as a result of their stay.
Maintenance Emergencies A 24 hr contact number will be given. Complete emergency instructions will be provided.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity Four guests allowed in unit. More than four guests will be enforced and result in eviction and no refund.
Missing Items Any missing items will be subject to credit card charge upon guests departure. As per damage deposit policy.
Parking & Ticketing Free secured parking for one vehicle.

Our best Whistler story
Our favourite season in Whistler and why. Every season is unbeatable. Summer is sunny for great hikes, swimming, and mountain biking. Fall has beautiful color and clean crisp air. Winter has the snow (of course!) for perfect skiing and snowboarding and spring brings the sun and snow.

Is cleaning included? The townhouse is cleaned before arrival and after departure. If you have a longer stay, we can schedule additional cleaning.
Are towels provided? An ample supply of towels are provided for four guests.

Check In and Check Out Times

What are the Check In and Check Out times? Check In is 4:00 PM or later. Check Out is 10:00 AM or earlier.
Can I check in earlier? If there is a guest staying the night before you arrive it is difficult to allow for early check in. If no one immediately precedes you we can sometimes provide earlier check in, subject to confirmation from our housekeeping staff.
Can I check out later? If there is a guest checking in the day you leave it is difficult to allow for late check out. If no one immediately follows you we can sometimes provide late check out, subject to confirmation from our housekeeping staff.


Do I need a car to get around Whistler? In the winter you will not need a car. Northstar is so well located that most services are within walking distance. The free shuttle provides service that will take you to either mountain base in only a few minutes.


Do I need a passport? For U.S. citizens, on June 1, 2009 requirements to cross the border changed. Adults must have a passport, enhanced driver's license, or passport card. Children under the age of 16 will be able to present a birth certificate. For more information go to, www.travel.state.gov.

We are a family of four that loves Whistler year around.  The mountains and surrounding area provide all sorts of recreation from skiing to biking to swimming and so much more that we all enjoy.  We have been traveling to Whistler for years and are fortunate to have a home in such a beautiful place.

Stay was perfect in every way. Quiet but only a 5 minute walk to the center of town, 12 minute walk to lifts. We stored our rental skis at the lockers at Carlton Lodge across from gondola, so we didn't have to cart them ourselves with 2 kids in tow.

We had a great time in this property. It was equipped with everything we needed. We checked in on a Saturday and that night the pool and hot tub were pretty busy so we opted to stay in and use the jetted tub after skiing. That was a nice treat. We walked to the lifts each morning which was a bit of a walk carrying boots, skis and poles. That might have been a mistake, but live and learn.

When we were not skiing the walk was a quick easy one. Being so close to the grocery store in a plus!! We ate out for lunches and dinners but prepared breakfast in the room each day. I'm sure a close knit family of four would be fine in this property but I like some private space and don't like to share a bathroom so it was perfect for my husband and myself. We celebrated his 50th birthday and our 18th wedding anniversary during our stay.

The assigned parking space is NOT the same number as the unit and thank goodness for that. This units assigned parking spot is HUGE!! You'll never worry about door dings or driving a bigger vehicle. Karli was great to deal with and responded quickly to my emails and questions.

We'll stay here again for our next trip to Whistler!!

We had a most wonderful stay in the unit for a family of 4 with an 18 month old baby. The unit meet our needs with all amenities close by. Being an Aussie was even able to have a BBQ in winter. The shuttle service and hot tub were well utilized. The Conference Center in the village was so great for the baby while the parents were up on the slopes. For non skiers plenty of lovely walking on tracks to admire the village and the mountain and with the snow an added bonus. Karli was great in answering all our questions which made our stay even more enjoyable. We were fortunate to also be able to have an early check in. Thanks again.

Some of the towels need to be changed as they were clean but had stains on them. The air mattress in the hideabed lost air throughout the night. While it was a comfortable mattress, it required someone having to get up to pump it up. There were also a couple of dishes put away that had dried food remains on them. Overall the place was comfortable and clean and we appreciated having some of the games available for a rainy night. Paper towel, toilet paper and tissue were not restocked from the last guests.

Perfect place for a group of 4 . Has everything you would need in a unit and it's across the street from IGA, starbucks, Mcdonald's etc! Only complaint was that it got stuffy and there's no AC and we couldn't leave the door open because of mosquitoes. I'd recommend owners invest in a screen for the door so fresh air can come in and keep bugs out.

We stayed three nights last week and skiied each day. This is a one bedroom "home", not a tight squeeze. We really appreciated the "mudroom" right when you walked in -- we could hang everything to dry in there, turn on the washer and dryer and close the door to the main apartment so we didn't have to listen to the machine! yeah! The couches and sofa bed are high quality - LayZboy. Same sofa bed we bought for our home because it has a mattress plus the airbed on top of the mattress so you get real support without feeling the springs and bar. Best sofa bed in any rental or hotel we've ever stayed in. Kitchen was amply equipped, we could have had a dinner party with all the plates! Location of apartment is perfect -- no noise from buses, yet easy walk to the pool. Btw, the pool and hot tub are much bigger then most hotels and condos. The hot tub can seat probably 25 people, and just the right temperature. Good changing rooms at the hot tub as well so you don't need to walk back cold and wet! Few suggestions for owners: (1) More bath towels would be appreciated. With a family of four, it would be nice to have at least six bath towels and more hand towels. Glad we brought our own pool towels -- you couldn't go to the pool and then shower using same towels! (2) The king size bed is extremely hard. Have you considered a pillow topper for people who like a softer feel? (3) Really appreciated the large knife set in kitchen for cooking, but they are in desperate need of sharpening! (4) Your check-in instructions need updating for the garage -- there no longer is the option of using a key, you must use the card. Thanks again for a wonderful stay -- we will rent from you first whenever it is available!

Spoke to the owners a couple of times before booking and they were very helpful in answering all my questions. We are a family of 4 and stayed in this condo early august 2013. Its perfectly located on the ground floor which makes it very convenient to haul our belongings and food from the car to the condo without going up / down stairs. We have a 1 year old and 5 year old. They even had a pack / play so saved us from bringing our own. Only downside was there wasnt enough liquid hand soap left in the bathroom bottle andsoap was watered down but we managed. Nice kitchen appliances, clean washroom, patio and bbq was great. Overall the living space was just right. Swimming pool was just steps away. Since its not right in the village its quiet in the evening. Getting to the IGa and the Whistler kids playground is less than 5 minutes walk. Compared to what we paid for at a hotel couple of years ago this is much more economical and definitely a better place to stay.

Well-appointed and comfortable 1BR condo located in the village right across from The Marketplace. A free shuttle (Whistler Transit #4 route) stop is very close. Karli was very patient and answered all questions. Highly recommended. (Mature couple)

This place is fantastic! It exceeded our expectations. This cozy, beautifully decorated spot is ideal for a couple or family of 4. We loved the ground level location and layout of this place. The closet full of board games was a great touch and made for many a fun night for our family. We really appreciated the underground secure parking (no need to ever scrape windshields or clean snow!). It was even better that our vehicle never had to be used the entire week we stayed here as everything is within walking distance (groceries, liquor store, Starbucks, fast food etc). We spent every night walking through Whistler Village, enjoying the sights and sounds right across the street! The heated outdoor pool and hot tub are an awesome bonus over and above everything else! This is a great spot from every angle...a gem for sure! It certainly made our vacation to stay at such a wonderful place! Thank you for sharing it with us!

Our family of twelve had 3 condos at Northstar across the road from Market Place. It was perfect for us. Appreciated the underground parking and the ability to walk everywhere. The condos and pool were great.

It was a great experience staying here - the pool was nice (family friendly) and the location was even better! Very impressed there was a lot of cooking dishes/pots and pans available for use along with a BBQ. I would definitely recommend this condo and would stay here again. Thank you to Bret and Karli, we really enjoyed our stay, eventhough it was raining. The place is absolutely gorgeous, comfortable sofas, nice in the kitchen, it was the most romantic get away. The only think we had a problem that's parking spot, when we arived the spot was taken by somebody else, but I immidiatly found a security guards and they called the towing. After 10 min the towing came and towed the car, this way my spot was for me. Otherwise everinging was just perfect. You should come there to see it, you will be really happy. We wanted to come for the next weekend but everything is taken, so we found at the same resort a condo, I hope it will be nice too. Excellent resort and the best condo ever. Thank you again

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in your home and all was as expected except the coffee machine. We found it had not been washed and while there we put it in the dishwasher twice including the last wash. Instead of 3 of us there was only my wife and myself so we had no need to use the bed settee in the lounge

We had a wonderful time staying at this condo in Whistler. It was the perfect location, right across the road from the market place with easy access to supermarket, liquor store etc and a 5 minute stroll to Whistler Village. It is a ten minute walk to Whistler and Blackcomb gondolas. The condo itself it's clean and cosy with everything you need, completely self contained. Along with the outdoor heated pool and hot tub this was the perfect place to come back to a chill out after a hard day on the mountain! Overall we were very satisfied with our stay...looking forward to visiting again next year!

Thank you very much for sharing your condo with us! We had been to Whistler before in the summer time but had never been there in winter. It was truly a "Winter Wonderland"! Your condo is in an excellent location... close to the grocery store, the village and anything you might need but yet "off the beaten path" so we enjoyed the quieter surroundings. A beautiful setting! We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and grill and especially the hot tub after a day of skiing! Thanks, too, for your organized and thorough instructions which made our trip flawless. We would definitely like to stay at your condo again if we are fortunate enough to return to Whistler! We found this condo to be very pleasant and accomodating, it was so well maintained with easy directions for all the amenities. It is located in a perfect location, right across from all the conveniences of the village, yet away from any late night noise. The pool and hot tub were especially pleasing, nice and warm on a cold winters day. We would recommend this to anyone wishing to stay in a home while at Whistler, especially if you want to cook in and indulge in some rest and relaxation after enjoying all there is to do at Whistler!

Comfortable Place and close to Everything

We had a wonderful time. The place was comfortable and the children had a great time in the pool. The ammenities were great. The kitchen had everything we needed, free Internet access, Tv's with DVD Player. We would recommend someone looks at the bathtub, because it would take close to 20-30 minutes to drain (leaving it really dirty). Thank you and we have already recommended the place to our friends!

I got this place last minute for my very picky folks. They were overall pleased with the space,esp location but the one complaint was the the master bed looked slept in when they arrived. I definatly will be keeping this place in mind for my own family as we love to ski in the winter and hike in summer. I would highly recommend staying at Northstar because it is a great location! Close to the village, shopping, biking trails and other tourist attractions. The unit was very clean, well stocked and I felt very comfortable there. It was nice to have TV, free internet, free parking and nic pool to relax and sun tan by. Very easy to check in and out as well.

Enjoyed the Condo,geat amenities, such as Hot tub and Swimming pool. Only drawback, was the parking. I couldn't use it because parking Garage Heighth is 6' 10". My Ford F350 is lifted, so it exceeds the height.

Holiday in Whistler

We did enjoy our stay in your apartment which had everything we wanted except that we have never, never rented accommodation which had unironed sheets on the bed. I honestly had to take a deep breath and wondered who had been last in! The top sheet also had a couple of tears in it under black marks. Also we found the duvet/comforter extremely heavy and very lumpy and not user friendly. Our only other minor request would be better instructions on the door lock which was extremely unfamiliar - now that may be because we came from Europe. Also, turning left to enter is counter-intuitive to us! Incidentally fyi the plughole in the bathroom basin doesn't work but we managed to find a stone from the outside to keep it closed so my husband could shave.

We stayed in this condo for 1 week in December 2010 - January 2011. I gave this rental a five star rating because add description matched the reality 100%. It is very important to have right expectation and no surprises when it comes to vacation rentals. The condo was very clean, had all the necessary things, very convenient check-in and check-out. It is located 10 min walk from the lift gondola and right across the street from the shuttle stop. In addition, condo owners are very nice and responsive. When we contacted them during our stay with some questions and request, they were very quick to answer and hep us.
