Welcome to the "Chili Pepper Suite". This is my families private suite which has been decorated with Chili Peppers in the kitchen and an Indian theme with numerous hand-made Indian dolls and dream catchers. We proudly offer our suite to you and your family to enjoy. Located Slopeside on Blackcomb, this ground level two bedroom suite is located in the corner of the courtyard. It has a view of the courtyard activites and the surrounding mountains. Even though there is easy access to the heated pool and hot tubs, it is far enough away to prevent viewing and hearing the pool activities. This is true ski in/ski out. This two bedroom suite provides a fully-equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, sleeping for 6, extra large private patio, and new furniture including 42" HDTV in Living Room and 32" HDTV in both bedrooms with Blu-ray/DVD/CD players, FREE internet, private security safe in suite and many other upgrades. You can see the blackcomb ski lift and watch the skiers as they enter and exit the courtyard We have provided all the luxuries of home and hope you will enjoy our suite and enjoy your visit to Whistler/Blackcomb. Our "Chili Pepper Suite' is located on the ground floor, near the snow, so there are no hassles with stairs or elevators. When you enter our suite, the kitchen is on the right and the dining area and living room are straight ahead. The living room has a sliding glass door to the covered private patio that has a view of the courtyard and the surrounding mountains. On the right side of the living room is the master bedroom with a king size bed and a private bath with deep soaking tub. On the left side of the entry is another bath with an extra large shower and a second bedroom with two extra-long twin beds. There is a queen size sleep sofa in the living room. Suite sleeps 6 people. There is a 42" HDTV in the living room with Blu-ray/DVD/CD player and a 32" HDTV in each bedroom with CD player. There is a personal safe in the master closet to protect your valuables and it is large enough to store a 17" laptop. There are games and puzzles in the living room trunk. Warm comfortable living room with sleeper sofa and large chair. Sofa sleeper has a built in air bed, so it is very comfortable. All new furniture in the living room. Gas fireplace with hooks below the mantel so you can hang up your wet hats and gloves. There are 2 reading lamps, a 42" LCD high definition TV, Blu-ray/DVD/CD player and a IHOME AM/FM Stereo with docking station. Wood floors and fresh paint. We have decorated this room with Indian dolls and many personal hand-crafted items made by family members. Enjoy the colorful decorations and the warm ambiance. There is a sliding glass door which leads to the private, covered patio with a view of the courtyard and the surrounding mountains.
New, large kitchen table that seats 6 people (2 extra leaves are under the bed also). The housekeeper will have the the table set with our colorful dishes when you arrive, so it will be ready for your family dinner.

Location & Map
Our "Chili Pepper Suite' is located in the Aspens on Blackcomb, which is slopeside at the base of the main chair of Blackcomb mountain. It is one of the best locations in Whistler. The Aspens is a "U" shaped building with a large courtyard that contains a year-around heated outdoor pool and 3 hot tubs. At the opening of the courtyard is the Blackcomb ski slope, you can ski directly from the courtyard. After the day's skiing, just ski into the courtyard and hand your skis to the complimentary ski valet for over night storage and/or waxing. The Aspens is located on the benchlands of Blackcomb which is a quiet family area away from the noise of the village and the night life. If you want to enjoy the activies of Whistler village, it is just a 5 minute walk or you can take the free shuttle. Our suite is located on the ground floor in the corner of the courtyard, it has view of the surrounding mountains.

Suitability & Eligibility Policies

Reservation & Cancellation Policies
|Arrival Days||Guests can arrive on any day of the week. There are no arrival days restrictions.|
|Cancellations Made by Guests||Cancellations at any time are subject to a minimum $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 45 days of arrival will result in loss of reservation deposit and possibly loss of entire amount. If reservation is cancelled 45 days or more prior to arrival, then refunds will be limited to the amount paid less a 5% cancellation fee or $50 (which ever is more). If reservation is cancelled less than 45 days prior to arrival, every attempt will be made to reschedule the suite with another guest. For nights that we are able to reschedule with another guest, we will refund the amount that the replacement guest paid less 5% cancellation fee. Payment for nights that we are not able to reschedule with another guest, will not be refunded. Refunds will be limited to the revenue that was secured from the replacement guests, and will be sent after the arrival date. Cancellations for any reason are subject to the same refund policy.|

|Guest Account Termination||The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site|
|Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal||The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses|

|Privacy||The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. |Property Sale||All bookings will be preserved in the event of a property sale. If the booking is not preserved by the new Owners, the new Owners will be contractually bound to move your booking at their expense.|

Guest Stay Policies
|Bike Storage||Please do not take bikes into the suite. Please check with the front desk for the location of the bike storage facilities. Bikes are NOT permitted in the building.|
|Check-In Time||4:00 pm. Door combination code will activate shortly before this check-in time, there is no access to the suite until the door code activates.|
|Check-Out Time||11:00 am. Door combination code will de-activate shortly after this check-out time and access to the suite will be denied.|
|Complaints Concerning Property||Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.|
|Excessive Cleaning Costs||Guest is responsible for paying excessive cleaning costs stemming from extraordinary cleaning above the standard typical Guest stay. Cleaning associated with defacing the property, or above the standard fees is considered property damage.|
|Excessive Noise||This is a family-oriented, quiet development. Noise complaints may result in eviction by local police or security personnel. Evicted guests will NOT be entitled to refunds.|
|Garbage Removal||Please remove garbage from suite. Garbage room is located in small building outside the front door of the Aspens, the front desk can direct you to this location.|
|Housekeeping||No housekeeping is provided during your stay. Cleaning after departure is included. Housekeeping during your visit can be arranged for a fee|
|Internet Availability & Usage||Free internet is provided in the room. This is provided from Shaw cable who maintains this service. The user id and password are included in the instruction book located in the condo. Any issues with the internet should be directed to Shaw Cable.|
|Liability||The Guest doing the booking is responsible and liable for all damages for ensuring that these policies are respected and adhered to. Guest releases property owners from liability for theft or injury while in transit to the property, in the property,or on resort lands|
|Locking Door||Instructions for the door lock is provided via email or fax approximately 2 weeks before arrival, including instructions on how to customize the code. The door automatically locks when you leave the suite. If you get locked out, please do not expect immediate response, it might take some time for someone to come to your rescue, please be patient.|
|Maintenance Emergencies||24 hour front desk.|
|Maximum Sleeping Capacity||6 overnight people, excessive occupants (without owner approval) will result in eviction. Evicted guests will NOT be entitled to refunds.|
|Missing Items||Guests will assume costs of replacing items that are missing upon the Guest departure.|
|Noise Restrictions||Disturbing neighboring residents is prohibited. Fines will be levied on the spot to Guests who are disturbing the peace. Guests may also be evicted from the premise by the strata security company. Guests are also responsible for fines levied agains the Owner as result of noise bylaw infringements by the Guest. Normal conversation pitch is accepted. Continued screaming, yelling and/or swearing is not. The Owner will not refund evicted Guests.|
|Policy Updates||Guests are accountable to the policies posted on my web site at the time of booking the property and are not subject to policies that were amended or added after their booking was made.|
|Property Damage||Property damage of common or private property includes: physical damage, excessive cleaning, defacing property, excessive noise, littering, lude public behavior, missing items/theft. Guest agrees to pay for all private or common property damage caused by the Guest themselves, or a member of their party. Guests may also be evicted.Refunds will not be issued in the event of eviction. Owner reserves the right to request Guest account inactivation.|
|Rental Accommodation Zoning||This property is zoned for nightly rentals.|
|Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage||Please do not bring skis and boards into the suite. Complimentary ski and board storage is provided for all Aspens guest, please use this service.|
|Terms of Eviction||Second complaint will result in eviction by the security service.Evictions will result for excess noise, property damage, and other policy violations. Evicted guests will NOT be entitled to refunds.|
|Reservation Guarantee||If our property is damaged & we cannot fulfill your reservation, you will be given the option to either cancel your reservation with a 100% refund, or be moved to a comparable property. Owners will assume additional accommodation-related relocation costs up to $1000 CAD. If a comparable property is not available, the booking will be cancelled with a full refund.|
|Snow Guarantee||No guarantee for weather conditions or skiing conditions.|
We are a skiing family. Our children have been skiing since they were very young, and they love the variety of Whistler and the activities of the village. We live in the Seattle area, so Whistler is only a few hours away. Our "Chili Pepper Suite' is our pride and joy and has allowed our family to create wonderful memories of our numerous ski trips. Chilli Pepper Suite is in a really convenient location with direct ski in/out access. From the windows you can look across the courtyard of the The Aspens and actually see the chair lift on Blackcomb Mt. It is on the ground floor but is still fairly quiet. The apartment was perhaps nicer in real life than it appeared in the photos. We loved the gas log fire, hand-made quilts and communal hot tubs.View Full Review

Summer stay for Seattle family including couple with teen son and grandmother. The Aspens is perfect spot for each of us to do things together or split up. Super easy run down the hill for family-friendly activities and services of the Upper Village (=Blackcomb) or ~10 min walk to busier main Whistler Village. No car needed once you're there.
This unit (Chili Pepper) is on the ground floor right off the lobby. There's some noise from the pool. Condo had nearly all we needed. If you're going to eat in the condo - whether making simple breakfast or dinner or packing lunches for your day's outings - bring small amounts of basics like oil, salt/pepper/other spices, condiments, etc so you don't need to buy those silly small things in Whistler.
Condo had 1 packet of coffee and 2 tea bags. We brought pasta, cereals, oats, bread, cheese, etc from home, but forgot some of those small basics (and the smallest bottle of olive oil at the store was CAD$5.). Pick up other perishables and produce from a grocery store or go to the summer farmer's market Wed & Sun in the Upper Village.View Full Review

We enjoyed the accommodations, there were a few things that should be mentioned on the listing. Parking is not included and it is $14 plus tax per day, and most guests like us parked on the street which made the check in more difficult. There are no in suite laundry facilities or air conditioning (two fans were provided, one did not work), on the other hand the suite is bigger than other two bedroom suites in newer developments. The bike room is too small for the size of the property and had trouble finding a place to lock our two bikes (no room in the bike room).
It is a lovely place to stay, the kitchen had everything and more! I would disclose the above points so that guests know before hand the additional costs and are prepared to deal with bikes and laundry.View Full Review

we had a good time and the suite was convenient to both town and the ski lifts. We could walk to Whistler in the evening and ski to lifts in spite of the low snow.
it would have been nicer to have an upper floor room with a better view as this unit is on the ground floor next to the ski valet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the property was perfect for our family of 4 which included a 7 year old and a 4 month old. It was clean, spacious, had all the equipment for breakfast and meals (we ate dinner in every evening) and was convenient being on the ground floor close to the reception and ski valet service. There weren't any basis supplies such as salt and pepper, cooking oil, etc. We even had to purchase a cleaning sponge to scrub the pots and pans. Other VRBO properties we had stayed at had basic supplies and some condiments. If we had known, there wouldn't be any condiments whatsoever, we would have brought some up instead of purchasing everything. The safe which was in the bedroom keep on making an annoying noise.
