We are located on the Blackcomb benchlands, which means that you can enjoy the peace of the mountains, or take the free village shuttle to everything in the village. Property Description

Our large entry hall has ski storage and hanging for all your gear. The two bedrooms are on either side of the central hall for maximum privacy. The queen bedroom has a TV/VCR and an ensuite bath. The second bathroom, with double headed shower, is adjacent to the second bedroom with two twin or one king bed. The large living room with queen sofa bed, TV/DVD/VCR, and stero opens to the dining room and kitchen. There are large windows which overlook the private deck with hot tub, and the mountains across the valley. The floors in the bathrooms and kitchen have underfloor heating. There is also an ensuite laundry.

We love to cook, so the kitchen is equipped with all the things we use and love, gourmet cookware, gadgets that work, and almost everything you need. The kitchen is well designed, and the underfloor heating makes it cosy even on the coldest winter days. There are new quartz counters and a deep stainless sink, great dimmable lighting over the working areas and a slow cooker so you dinner will cook while you ski.

Living Area

The new decorated and painted living room has a large sofa, a matching love seat and an old fashioned rocking chair. The river rock gas fireplace makes it warm and cosy, and the mirrors bring the mountain views to everyone. There is a TV/VCR/DVD and stero system.

Dining Area

The dining room table comfortably accomodates six, with full dining service for twelve available. The patio door leads to the private deck with comfortable seating and the hot tub.

Location & Map


Arrowhead Pointe, 4890 Painted Cliff Road, is located just off the Wizard chair partly up the mountain on the benchlands. It is just steps from the free village shuttle, across the street from Painted Cliff Condos and Mariott Blackcomb Springs Hotel. You can SKI OUT, just walk across the street, and you can SKI IN (weather permitting) by following the signs to Homerun Trail (off the Lower Cruiser) which will bring you to the end of the building. If you want to ski Whistler Mt. just ski across the Yellow Brick Road, and take the Village Run to the village base lift.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests Payments are non-refundable if the reservation is cancelled by the guest. If we can re-book we will refund your money less a 4% cancellation fee.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We can not be responsible for conditions that delay your arrival.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Sent by email upon making the balance of payment. Includes access codes and information
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Late Reservation Payments Unfortunatly, late payments can result in cancelled reservations. Guests can re-book if dates are still available.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. Reservation Changes These may be possible depending on availability. Reservations can be lengthened depending on availability. If you want to shorten your reservation, deposits are non-refundable, balance payments will reflect the shortened reservation. For fully paid reservations, refunds are not available.

Guest Stay Policies

Check-In Time 4:00pm. Early check-in may be possible depending upon the prior reservation
Check-Out Time 10:00am. Late check-out may be possible depending on reservation schedule
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise If reported to strata manager or RCMP it is grounds for immediate eviction. No refunds if eviction for noise.
Housekeeping Cleaning after departure is included. Guests staying six nights or longer receive cleaning and fresh laundry every five days. Additional housekeeping can be arranged for an additional fee.
Liability We can not be responsible for any liability for personal bodily injurt in our home, in transit, or while on the property.

Maximum Sleeping Capacity Six people overnight. Includes all bodies, even children! More than six is grounds for eviction.
Noise Restrictions If you are reported to the strata manager or RCMP eviction may occur. Complaints are grounds for immediate eviction with no refund.
Parking & Ticketing One designated space in locked garage.
Property Damage Guests will pay for all damage incurred while the guest is staying in the property, even if the damange is perpetrated by a third party. This is part of the contract. If there is any damage, please contact us directly for a settlement.
Rental Accommodation Zoning Zoned for nightly rentals.
Resort Information Provided. Sent upon balance of payment.
Terms of Eviction More than one complaint from security will result in eviction.

About Us

After many years of staying with friends, relatives and making a variety of reservations, we decided to take the plunge and buy our own second home at Whistler.  We live in Vancouver where John is a Professor of Zoology at U.B.C. specializing in biomechanics. and Cynthia consults as an accounting specialist, but also sings in the Vancouver Bach Choir and works with the Childrens Choir. Our two children, now adults, enjoy their weekends at Whistler with friends. Since we love music as well as skiing, and have commitments to concerts and opera, we enjoy sharing our mountain home with others skiers, and helping them to have a thrilling holiday. We have equipped our second home with all the things that we love and use, and hope that you will find everything that you would want in a ski home as well. However, ski conditions are quite beyond our control. Whistler is a great place for a relaxing, or energetic holiday, any time of the year. Have a great time skiing, hiking, swimming, biking, eating and drinking at Whistler!

Loved our stay at Cynthia and Johns. It was exactly what we expected. The ski in option was fantastic. As for ski out, it was a short walk (100m) from the condo. From there you could decide to take the free shuttle (for which we never had to wait longer than 10 min) or ski down to Blackcomb base.

The condo itself was clean, well maintained and had all the amenities we needed. Two downfalls, 1: a boot dryer would have been nice, 2: I didn't find the plastic wine glass until the day we were leaving (I made due with the plastic cups for the hot tub).

Arrowhead Point is a great location and the property description is accurate. We had great snow and good weather and were able to ski back to the condo from the mountain. Getting to the Blackcomb lift is a 5 minute walk just up the street. A private hot tub was a bonus for soaking in after all day on the mountain! I definitely recommend this property!

Very quiet and comfortable condo and location! The condo was very clean and everything very organized. Owner checked in on us and provided housekeeping half way though our stay. Only regret was that we did not have use of the hot tub during our summer stay. We would recommend facility and hope to be back in the future.

Great Location and Value

This is our second or third time staying in this unit and it works very well for our family of 4 (with 2 teenagers). The kitchen is well stocked and the bathrooms have plenty of towels. The hot tub is a great addition and the washer and drier are invaluable. The kids especially appreciate the Wi-Fi connection.

We like the location because it is quiet and private yet close to all the action. We usually drive the skis down to the Blackcomb base then park in the day lots between Whistler and Blackcomb. After returning to the unit for an hour or two, it is easy to drive back down and park in the day lots to go out to dinner in Whistler Village.

Beautiful property in great location

This is a wonderful condo, really homely, clean and beautifully presented and we've never seen such a well equipped kitchen. Loved the private hot tub on the balcony. It's in a great location in Blackcomb - really quiet and peaceful yet a short walk to the slopes or bus stop in to town. The owners couldn't have been more helpful, offering an extra clean during our 2 week stay and a late check out at no extra cost. We'd definitely come back if we're ever back in Whistler.
